A weighted similarity coefficient method for manufacturing cell formation (제조셀 형성을 위한 가중치 유사성계수 방법)

  • This paper presents a similarity coefficient based approach to the problem of machine-part grouping for cellular manufacturing. The method uses relevant production data such as part type, production volume, routing sequence to make machine cells and part families for cell formation. A new similarity coefficient using weighted factors is introduced and an algorithm for formation of machine cells and part families is developed. A comparative study of two similarity coefficients - Gupta and seifoddini's method and proposed method - is conducted. A software program using TURBO C has been developed to verify the implementation.

  • 오늘날 컨테이너의 과다한 물동량 증가로 인하여 수작업으로 이루어지는 컨테이너 식별자를 처리하는데 어려움을 겪고 있는 가운데, 이를 자동으로 인식하고 그 결과를 항만 물류 처리 자동화 시스템에 적용하고자 하는 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 컨테이너의 인식 처리를 자동화하기 위한 방안으로 컨테이너의 식별자 인식에 신경망 알고리즘의 하나인 Back-propagation을 적용하였으며, BP 알고리즘을 적용하기 위해서 적절한 scaling 비율을 구하고, 학습 DB를 구축하여 기존의 식별자 인식보다 신속하고 정확한 처리가 가능하도록 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문은 주민등록증의 정보와 본인 생체 지문으로 본인임을 확인하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 본인 확인 방법은 주민등록증의 사진과 실물사진을 육안으로 판별한다. 이러한 판별 방법의 문제점은 주민등록증 발급 시의 사진과 현재의 본인 얼굴과의 차이점이 많을 때 본인임에도 판별이 불가능한 경우도 발생하고 주민등록중의 훼손으로 판별이 불가능할 수 가 있다. 이러한 단점을 본 알고리즘에서는 생체인식기술인 지문인식과 문자인식기술을 접목하여 주민등록상의 지문이미지와 지문입력기에서 입력받은 생체지문을 비교판별하고 주민등록증 발급 시 입력한 지문과도 비교 판별함으로써 보다 확실한 본인 확인방법을 제공한다.

  • Gait analysis through wearable sensors is becoming a key research topic in mobile. In gait analysis, step detection is one of the most important processes that will lay down the foundation for future implementation. In this paper, we will propose a simpler algorithm to determine and analyze the steps using accelerometer sensor built-in mobile phone that physically placed into the trouser pocket. This is the location where most of mobile devices are. With 5 volunteers walking in 160 seconds, the accuracy of this method is approximately 98.5%.

  • Depth data for is very important data for 3D display. Disparity and depth data makes users to feel 3D effect. We used stereo camera to measure depth and made fast algorithm to get in real time. This vision system can be substituted for expensive laser system.

  • The recent requirement for faster and more frequent solutions has encouraged the consideration of parallel implementations using decentralized processors. Distributed multi-processor environments can potentially greatly increase the available computational capacity and decrease the communication burden, allowing for faster Optimal Power Flow (OPF) solutions. This paper presents a mathematical approach to implementing distributed OPF using the alternating direction method (ADM) to parallelize the OPF. Several IEEE Reliability Test Systems were adopted to demonstrate the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, a fault-tolerant controller using duplex processors has been designed and implemented. The PI controller is adopted as the control algorithm and the fault-tolerant control system is implemented by two single chip processors(MCS-96). Performances of the control system designed here have been shown via a simulation with application to a pitch channel autopilot.

  • This paper describes controller design and implementation method for controlling the temperature distribution in a thermal stratified wind tunnel(TSWT) by using a neural network algorithm. It is impossible to derive a mathematical model of the relation between heat inputs and temperature outputs in the test section of the TSWT governed by a nonlinear turbulent flow. Thus inverse neural network models with a multi layer perceptron structure are used in a feedforward control loop and feedback control loop to generate an arbitrary temperature distribution in the test section of the TSWT.

  • This paper presents a control scheme for the motion of a 2 DOF robot manipulator. Robot manipulators are multivariable nonlinear systems. Fuzzy logic is avaliable human-like control without complex mathematical operation and is suitable to nonlinear system control. In this paper, Implementation of fuzzy logic control of robotic manipulators shows. Algorithm has been performed with simulation packages MATRIXx and SystemBuild.
