This study was carried out to assess problems related to legislative regulations and guidelines concerning some biological assessment systems applied to stream corridor in Korea. We comparatively reviewed the law of stream corridors and the guidelines for master plan concerned, and the law of water quality and health assessment criteria for the aquatic ecosystem concerned. Stream environments were not managed effectively due to the absence of detail regulations and the criteria for stream assessment. A biological assessment system was not equivalently integrated within the management of water resources in process implementation of projects resulting from the dualistic management system for stream corridors in Korea. The current biological assessment system was reflected to mainly physical habitats or only oriented to some aquatic species correlated with water quality. This system was also recognized as part of environment impact assessment based on an intensive survey method of most biological taxa. Conclusively rapid and quantitative assessment techniques based on advanced organisms, such as vegetation, fish and birds, etc. should be urgently provided for considering as representative indicators of stream conditions in Korea.
The conservation project to protect an endangered fish, Gobiobotia naktongensis was executed against declining the gene diversity of the fish after the construction of Youngju Dam in a sand-bed stream (Naeseongcheon Stream). We tried to move the populations of G. naktongensis from submerged planned sites to alternative habitats, bred artificially and augmented the juveniles to optimal habitat, and monitored the results of the restoration implementation. No entity of G. naktongensis was confirmed at the planned submerged sites despite attempting to capture more than 8 times and eventually the movement to alternative habitat could not be implemented. About 40 individuals of G. naktongensis were captured in the Naeseongcheon Stream and a total of 5,000 individuals were artificially spawned up. The population of juvenile inherited the genetic diversity from the brood stock. The bred juveniles were discharged at the selected optimal site that had a habit condition what was similar to their natural habitat. The micro-dispersion around the discharging area was found at the early stages of the augmentation. The re-capturing rate of discharged juveniles was reduced as time passed. The discharged juveniles seemed to adapt to the natural environment of Naeseongcheon Stream. The observation of their high abdominal distension and excrement demonstrated that the juveniles fed successfully in the discharging area. Therefore, securement of genetic homogeneity and enhancement of restoration population of G. naktongensis in upstream and downstream of Youngju Dam site from the artificial seed producing seemed to be primarily successful and long-term monitoring and analysis of the effect was expected to be necessary.
In order to quantify the effect of the newly established the Total Water Load Management System in Sapgyo watershed, this study predicted the achievement of the target water quality at each unit watershed and the water quality according to the flow section. The HSPF model, which is the watershed runoff model, was constructed and operated based on 2015, and the water quality was predicted by inputting the loads in final target year(2030). The Load Duration Curve (LDC) was created using the simulated results of base year and target year. As a result of plotting water quality by flow conditions, it was simulated to be close to the BOD target with a difference of 0.1 ~ 0.2 mg/L in all three watersheds during the mid-range flow interval (40 ~ 60%). In case of T-P, although the target water quality was not set, the water quality was improved by Cheonan A 46%, Kokgyo A 29% and Namwon A 25%. The Muhan and Sapgyo river basins meet the target grade of middle-watershed standards. The improvement effect will be positive, as water quality, which achieves the target of Total Load Management System and the target grade of the middle-watershed standards will be expected to flow into the Sapgyo lake.
The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile-based math learning application and explore its application. In order to develop a learning application, the present study included literature review on math education involving mobile learning, investigation of literature related to mathematics education conducted in a digital environment, and method of use and implementation environment of existing math learning applications by type. Based on these preliminary investigation and analysis, an android version application, 'Mathematics Classroom for Middle School 3rd Graders' was developed. This application can be used for learning units such as Quadratic Functions and Graphs, Representative Value, and Variance and Standard Deviation. For the unit on Quadratic Functions and Graphs, the application was constructed so that students can draw various graphs by using the graphic mode and discuss their work with other students in the chatting room. For the unit on Representative Value, the application was constructed with the mathematical concept of representative value explained through animation along with activities of grouping data acquired after playing archery games by points or arranging them according to size so that students can study when and how to use median value, mode, and average. The application for Variance and Standard Deviation unit was also constructed in a way that allowed students to study the concept of variance and standard deviation and solve the problems on their own. The results of this study can be used as teaching & learning materials customized for individual student in math classes and will provide anyone the opportunity to engage in an interesting self-directed learning of math at anytime. Developed in the format of real life study, the application will contribute to helping students develop a positive attitude about math.
Recently there have been various research activities regarding Korean traditional aesthetics. However, those researches were mainly conducted individually, partially, and periodically, which resulted in unsystematic and incomprehensive works. Therefore, it is required to orginze all the precedent research works with more systematic and objective framework. Generally speaking, all the human activities including aesthetic activity have ends, procedure and means. In other words, human being needs three key elements for realizing any thought and those three elements include contents, formal, and practical element. Element of contents is ultimate goal to accomplish as value, concept, and meaning of thought with their aims. Formal element includes methods, principles, norms, procedure, formality and style comprising of thought in order to accomplish the goal. Finally, practical element refers to specific means, tool, media, material and techniques to concretize the contents through form. Almost all of thoughts and meaning which human being tries to express consist of language. Major elements in sentence include 'subject (omissible)' , 'objects (aim)', 'predicate (formality)', 'complement (means)' and they are composed systematically and hierarchically with rules in sentence. The study compared human activity model with language structure and analyzed their implication with design (aesthetics), which made it possible to propose analytic frameworks for traditional aesthetics. In addition, the study also systematically organized the way to realize traditional aesthetic value in the present context based on the methods developed in this study.
Background : It is increasing the concern for patient satisfaction as a customer information. This study was planned to investigate the activities related to patient satisfaction survey at the Korean hospitals. Methods : We performed the nationwide survey on 235 general hospitals by using the self-administrated checklist from Sep. 9 to Oct. 9, 1996. The response rate were 50.2%. We analyzed the descriptive statistics and chi-square test by SAS software on 118 hospitals. Results : First of all, 62.7% of study hospitals showed to conduct the patient satisfaction survey, and most of hospitals which did not conduct it had a plan to do it within 5 years. The reason that hospitals did not conduct satisfaction survey was due to a lack of administrator's interest or adequate questionnaire form. Second, the bigger, public and being more located in the big city or opened more than 10 years, the more hospitals conducted the patient satisfaction survey. Also, patient satisfaction survey was mainly handled by planning dept. or administrative team. Third, most hospitals had their own way of making questionnaires without proving reliability and validity. The results of the survey were applied to hospital management timely, and were mostly reported to top manager level. Most CEO concerned about the results of satisfaction survey. Fourth, the staffs in charge of survey had problems such as skill related to data analysis and development of questionnaire and they suggested that this problems could be solved through inducing the implementation of the survey results on hospital management, support for the development of standardized questionnaires and increasing the top manager's interests. Fifth, most questionnaires composed of lots of questioning items on hospital equipments and environment, and kindness of hospital employee to patients. Conclusions : Although this study had some limitations in generalization due to low response rate in big hospitals, it is meaningful to find the present state and the problems related to patient satisfaction survey of the general hospitals. We can conclude that there are increasing the concern for patient satisfaction survey among the hospitals nationwide, and it can be needed for technical support related to development of survey tool or method.
Although it has been studied for a long time in various disciplines, most of control theories remain being developed by analyzing relatively simple tasks. Even recent research on control of information systems development explains only a small part of control phenomena observed in the real world projects. This research focuses on identifying and analyzing the concepts and structures in order to make them useful for understanding and explaining control of information systems development comprehensively This investigation utilizes the complementary relationship between views on control from organizational and economic perspectives. A conceptual framework developed by integrating previous research on control allows us to analyze the development of information systems for control purposes. The results of discussion about control mechanisms and network can be used as guidelines for designing control systems in real projects. Analysis of control networks shows that control of development projects requires quite complex networks intertwining a variety of controllers and controlees. The results of this research are expected to contribute to correcting the unbalanced status of IS research which has emphasized too heavily on planning and implementation, and deepening and widening our understanding about controlling development projects. Practitioners can use the results as guidelines for designing control mechanisms and networks, and get alerted by them about the agency risks inherent in outsourced developments.

According to the Personal Information Protection Act(PIPA) which is legislated in March 2011, the individual or company that handles personal information, called Personal information processor, should encrypt some kinds of personal information kept in his Database. For convenience sake we call it DB Encryption in this paper. Law enforcement and the implementation agency accordingly are being strengthen the supervision that the status of DB Encryption is being properly applied and implemented as the PIPA. However, the process of DB Encryption is very complicate and difficult as well as there are many factors to consider in reality. For example, there are so many considerations and requirements in the process of DB Encryption like pre-analysis and design, real application and test, etc.. And also there are surely points to be considered in related system components, business process and time and costs. Like this, although there are plenty of factors significantly associated with DB Encryption, yet more concrete and realistic validation entry seems somewhat lacking. In this paper, we propose a realistic DB Encryption Assurance Framework that it is acceptable and resonable in the performance of the PIPA duty (the aspect of the individual or company) and standard direction of inspection and verification of DB Encryption (the aspect of law enforcement).

Red tide occurred sporadically in early 90s. But It is happening extensively by global warming. So, Airline observation, Red tide buoy development, and Red tide alarm system research is progressing for monitor ring. However, study to early forecast red tide and red tide alarm system did not exist hard. This paper proposed development that design and implementation red tide database of using wireless sensor network. There are GPS, Water Temperature sensor, Oxygen sensor, and Turbidity sensor in each node. And data is stored to red tide database through Ad-hoc network. This data is integrated and analyzed. So, forecast red tide. And red tide database has red tide data that happen at past. This is utilized to comparative analysis data for red tide estimate. Main screen displays position of node and measured value in electron map. Much studies must be backed for this a study. But I think that contribute to analyze red tide data by red tide database construction.

Color-$X^2$ is used as a method for scene change detection. It extracts a violent scene in an elevator and then could be used for real-time surveillance of criminal acts. The scene could be also used to secure after-discovered evidences and to prove analysis processes. Video Forensic is defined as a research on various methods to efficiently analyze evidences upon crime-related visual images in the field of digital forensic. The method to use differences of color-histogram detects the difference values of histogram for RGB color from two frames respectively. Our paper uses Color-$X^2$ histogram that is composed of merits of color histogram and ones of $X^2$ histogram, in order to efficiently extract violent scenes in elevator. Also, we use a threshold so as to find out key frame, by use of existing Color-$X^2$ histogram. To increase the probability that discerns whether a real violent scene or not, we take advantage of statistical judgments with 20 sample visual images.
