Mathematics textbook plays a significant role in shaping students' learning of mathematics. Logic, rigor and abstraction as typical features of the formalization of mathematics, dominate mathematics textbooks around the world, which is regarded as one of the important origins of students' learning difficulties in mathematics. An innovative series of Chinese mathematic textbooks is presented in this paper. Supported by the supplementary materials excerpts from the textbooks, it gives a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the principles of design and implementation of this series of mathematics textbooks. The effectiveness of this series of textbooks is demonstrated by student achievement and secondary research data. It shows that series of Chinese mathematic textbooks has largely decreased students' learning difficulties in mathematics and enhance classroom teaching efficiency. It suggests that prioritizing the essence of mathematics and reducing abstraction is an important notion for mathematics textbook design and implementation.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is diversely utilized in our lives such as daily hobbies, specialized video image taking and disaster prevention activities. New ways of UAV application have been explored recently such as UAV-based delivery. However, most UAV systems are being utilized in a passive form such as real-time video image monitoring, filmed image ground analysis and storage. For more proactive UAV utilization, there should be higher-performance UAV and large-capacity memory than those presently utilized. Against this backdrop, this study described the general matters on proactive software platform and high-performance UAV hardware for real-time target tracking; implemented research on its design and implementation, and described its implementation method. Moreover, in its established platform, this study measured and analyzed the core-specific CPU consumption.
Parallel implementation is conducted for a SIMPLER finite volume model. The present parallelism is based on domain decomposition and explicit message passing using MPI and SHMEM. Two parallel solvers to tridiagonal matrix equation are employed. The implementation is verified on the Cray T3E system for a benchmark problem of natural convection in a sidewall-heated cavity. The test results illustrate good scalability of the present parallel models. Performance issues are elaborated in view of convergence as well as conventional parallel overheads and single processor performance. The effectiveness of a localized matrix solution algorithm is demonstrated.
Intranet emerges as a key technology for building enterprise information system. This paper proposes a scenario-based object- oriented technique for designing intranet hypermedia information systems. The method consists of six phases such as domain analysis, object modeling, view design, navigational design, implementation design and construction. Users requirements are analyzed in the form of scenarios by the use fo a responsibility-driven object technology. Object-oriented views are generated from the resulting object model and then used for the subsequent navigational and implementation design. Implementation design phase deals integrating enterprise databases with distributed hypermedia systems by employing Java language. To demonstrate its usefulness, a real-life bank case is illustrated.
This paper describes the design and implementation of a wireless home network system using Home Network Control Protocol (HNCP) called the wireless HNCP home network system. For wireless interfaces of HNCP, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.15.4 standard protocols are considered. With the implementation of the wireless HNCP home network system, a simple analysis about coexistence between IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.15.4 is achieved. Through the implemented wireless HNCP home network system and the analytical results about the coexistence between both two different wireless protocols, the feasibility of the wireless HNCP home network system is shown.
This paper proposes apractical design method for ship-to-ship missiles' autopilot. When the pre-designed analogue autopilot is implemented in digital way, theygenerally suffer from severe performance degradation and instability problem even for a sufficiently small sampling time. Also, aerodynamic uncertainties can affect the overall stability and this happens more severely when the nonlinear autopilot is digitally implemented. In order to realize a practical autopilot, two main issues, digital implementation problem and compensation for the aerodynamic uncertainties, are considered in this paper. MIMO (multi-input multi-output) nonlinear autopilot is presented first and the input and output of the missile are discretized for implementation. In this step, the discretization effect is compensated by designing an additional control input. Finally, we design a parameter adaptation law to compensate the control performance. Stability analysis and 6-DOF (degree-of-freedom) simulations are presented to verify the proposed adaptive autopilot.
Finite element analysis of welding processes, which entail phase evolution, heat transfer and deformations, is considered in this paper. Attention focuses on numerical implementation of the thermo-elastic-plastic constitutive equation proposed by Leblond in consideration of the transformation plasticity. Based upon the multiplicative decomposition of deformation gradient, hyperelastic formulation is employed for efficient numerical integration, and the algorithmic consistent moduli for elastic-plastic deformations including transformation plasticity are obtained in the closed form. The convergence behavior of the present implementation is demonstrated via a couple of numerical examples.
Simulation and physical implementation are both valuable tools in evaluating sensor network routing protocols, but neither alone is sufficient. In this paper, we present the implementation and analysis of sensor routing protocols on the discrete-event simulation system that allows existing nesC codes of sensor network routing protocols to be used to create a physical implementation of the same protocol. We have evaluated the Surge function of TinyOS through example implementations in the Ptolemy II of the unmodified codes and Direct-diffusion routing protocols using VIPTOS simulation models.

In this paper, the implementation method for the extending real-time execution in MMS Implementation is proposed. For this, the method of MMS over ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) and IEEE 802.12 network is analyzed. By the analysis of service response time, making the ASIC of encoding and decoding parts are proposed for one of the real time extension in MMS. The main goals of this paper to analyze and propose suitable methods to meet the real time requirements in MMS applied system.
This parer proposes a power-line phase measurement algorithm which is based on the recursive implementation of sliding-DFT. Usage of the single DFT coefficient in the conventional sliding-DFT based power-line phase measurement brings a significant error propagation when implemented in hardware with finite word-length arithmetic operations. The proposed algorithm utilizes all the N-point DFT coefficients in the recursion. Performance degradation caused by the finite word- length implementation of the algorithm is analyzed and verified with computer simulations. The robustness of the proposed phase measurement algorithm against the erroneous implementation is also confirmed by the performance analysis and simulation.
