A Study on the Experience and Satisfaction Level of the Apartment Interior Design - Focused on the Apartment Model House in Ulsan City - (아파트 실내 공간 체험과 만족도에 관한 연구 - 울산지역 모델하우스를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to understand the consumer consciousness of the interior design by experiencing the interior space of the model house provided by the construction company. For this, the author investigated the spatial images about the apartment interior design and the satisfaction level depending on the experiential elements. Survey questionnaires were distributed to people who visited six model houses. Subjects were asked about the experience about the interior space of the model house. Their response to the experiential elements was analyzed with 5-point Likert scale and was computed as frequencies, percentages, and means. For the spatial image characteristics, adjectives were substituted for the image scales. As a result, the author found out the following: First, the interior space was commonly directed to the soft image, which was mixed with modern, noble, decent, dynamic and natural styles depending on the companies. The trend of each interior design basically had static, soft and vague images, and partially had two kinds of tendencies: the one was mild and natural, and the other was modern and elegant. Second, as the strategic modules of the experiential marketing, five experiential elements were investigated to find the satisfaction level through the model house interior space. The emotional element got the highest point followed by the cognitive element and the active element, while the sensible element and the relative element got the lowest point. Third, consumer response was generally positive toward the model house interior design provided by the construction company. It is necessary to make up for the design that can give an aesthetic pleasure with familiar images, rather than give a firm recognition about the design.

A model to secure storage space for CCTV video files using YOLO v3

  • In this paper, we propose a CCTV storage space securing model using YOLO v3. CCTV is installed and operated in various parts of society for disasters, disasters and safety such as crime prevention, fire prevention, and monitoring, and the number of CCTV is increasing and the quality of the video quality is improving. Due to this, as the number and size of image files increase, it is difficult to cope with the existing storage space. In order to solve this problem, we propose a model that detects specific objects in CCTV images using YOLO v3 library and deletes unnecessary frames by saving only the corresponding frames, thereby securing storage space by reducing the size of the image file, and thereby Periodic images can be stored and managed. After applying the proposed model, it was confirmed that the average image file size was reduced by 94.9%, and it was confirmed that the storage period was increased by about 20 times compared to before the application of the proposed model.

  • The purpose for this study shows general planning direction about showroom which can enhance sales promotion, and corporate image and through buyer negotiation increasing export. We can divide showroom as promotional showroom and institutional showroom as a whole. The results of this research can be summarized as follows : There is no uniformed design plan of display for the P.R of showroom. And they need independent business space. But, there is no attractive factors to fascinate their consumer and thus there is no sufficient service facility, Also, some more effective planning is needed to support their supervisors. I wish to suggest some planning direction on the basis of research problems : We need to divide four space- that is entrance space, display space management space, service space-to allocative effectively space for the purpose of charging product. P.R. We should set up uniformed design policy which can contribute P.R.-that is corporate color, unform . logotype, sign, pamphlet etc.

  • The whole image of circulation occupied with user has duplicated inter-relationship. It means many situation exist simultaneously, and the character of space factors are completed by the inter-relationship of the detailed structure. The purpose of this study is on the proper notation for circulation analysis of the sequential space structure which is constructed by the formal constituent and the change of visual circumstance influence on the action of user. This study investigate the possibility of notation by arranging the analysis method of the visual space and focusing on the research for the visual perception behaviour of user being applied various space, and the possibility of application as a method of space design.

  • The true space is the physical world affected a gravity but the cyber space is the world that rise above physical status and show developed space. This study shows that the factors of objective valuation and the indicators for the behavior analysis. It is established that the structural design indicators using the simulation have 4 steps; The indicator of complex space, the diagram of cognitive image, is the analysis of emotion and stimulation, and the dependent variables. Moreover the indicator of complex space is illustrated the connection degree, the symmetry, the axis of sight, and the degree of space division. For the effective analysis, the simulation is to be made matched with the true environment. Thus the simulation has the capability of the objective and correct more than those of true architectural environment. And it could establish immediately the experimental data and response.

The Hero's Journey of Animation from the Spatial Map Model (애니메이션 영웅서사의 공간지도 연구)

  • This study defined the animation space as the concept of map based on the space of Joseph Campbell's heroic narrative. The space in which the animated character exists is an image symbolic language that reflects the inner and outer growth stages of the hero. I focused on the spatiality that plays the role of the power to lead the narrative and examined the meaning as the mediator that leads the heroic narrative. First, 6 spatial variables were derived by observing 'Hero's Journey 'which is used as a basis of US commercial animation scenario. Second, spatial variables are defined as 64 zones and proposed as 'Spatial Map Model of the Hero's Journey' (SMMH). Third, the character space of was applied to 'SMMH', and the change of space utilization rate and spatiality and the narrative meaning were analyzed. This study extended the narrative of animation space which was not actively studied to map concept. It is possible to provide a different viewpoint in animation production and research.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of bipolar soft supra topological space and provide a characterization of the related concepts of bipolar soft supra closure and bipolar soft supra interior. We also establish a connection between bipolar soft supra topology and bipolar soft topology. Additionally, we present the concept of bipolar soft supra continuous mapping and examine the concept of bipolar soft supra compact topological space. A related result concerning the image of the bipolar soft supra compact space is proved. Finally, we identify the concepts of disconnected (connected) and strongly disconnected (strongly connected) space and derive several results linking them together. Relationships among these concepts are clarified with the aid of examples.

  • In this paper, a method of segmenting color image using characteristics of superpixels is proposed. A superpixel is consist of several pixels with same features such as luminance, color, textures etc. The superpixel can be used for image processing and analysis with large scale image to get high speed processing. A color image can be transformed to $La^*b^*$ feature space having good characteristics, and the superpixels are grouped by clustering and gradient-based algorithm.

An Efficient Bit-Level Lossless Grayscale Image Compression Based on Adaptive Source Mapping

  • Image compression is an essential technique for saving time and storage space for the gigantic amount of data generated by images. This paper introduces an adaptive source-mapping scheme that greatly improves bit-level lossless grayscale image compression. In the proposed mapping scheme, the frequency of occurrence of each symbol in the original image is computed. According to their corresponding frequencies, these symbols are sorted in descending order. Based on this order, each symbol is replaced by an 8-bit weighted fixed-length code. This replacement will generate an equivalent binary source with an increased length of successive identical symbols (0s or 1s). Different experiments using Lempel-Ziv lossless image compression algorithms have been conducted on the generated binary source. Results show that the newly proposed mapping scheme achieves some dramatic improvements in regards to compression ratios.

  • This paper proposes an image-dependent color image enhancement method that uses adaptive luminance enhancement and color emphasis. It effectively enhances details of low-light regions while maintaining well-balanced luminance and color information. To compare the structure similarity and naturalness, we used the tone mapped image quality index (TMQI). The proposed method maintained better structure similarity in the enhanced image than did the space-variant luminance map (SVLM) method or the adaptive and integrated neighborhood dependent approach for nonlinear enhancement (AINDANE). The proposed method required the smallest computation time among the three algorithms. The proposed method can be easily implemented using the field-programmable gate array (FPGA), with low hardware resources and with better performance in terms of similarity.
