In one VTR(Video Tape Recorder), two or more heads are used to record or reproduce video signals. To obtain a uniform quality of a VTR, video heads should have similar charcteristics such as geometrical shapes and electro-magnetic performances. This research is aimed to develop a visual inspection system that can measure four geoemtrical parameters;HO, HI, Tw and Cw. To obtain a high realable results, DSP based image board and target based image processing algorithms were used. A series of experiments was performed for one thousands of video heads. From observation of the experimental results, the system is found to show good performance for inspection of video heads.

The purpose of this study was to investigate client's satisfaction and to promote the image of medical services in the hostpital. It is important to identify how client is satisfy with the medical services for the image of hospital. The study was done on population group of 334 patients and their families who had been admitted to the Shospital in Seoul from July 15 to July 31. 1995. Data was collected by questionnaires on all steps of the research. Subjects were instructed to rate the 5 point likert type scale on items. 328 questionnaires returned and were used for this analysis. The results were summarised as follows: 1. The charcteristics of the subjects were as follows; the age group of 20-39 years was 61.0%. For academic background. 51.2% were graduated from high school and 28.7% were graduated from College. 2. The average scores for the services rendered were as follows; a) Satisfaction on nursing services 3.75 b) Satisfaction on kindness of hospital workers 3.55 c) Satisfaction on medical services 3.36 d) Satisfaction on environmental elements 3.19 e) Satisfaction on diet for the patients 3.18 3. The lowest score of client's satisfaction on each area shown in this study is as follows; a) Doctors explain result of tests and patient's home management 3.23 b) Nurses are eager to resolve client's problem 3.47 c) In environmental elements. toilets. roomtemperture. diet. store 2.81-2.91

The product evaluation and purchasing behavior of US brand jeans have been studied. The intrinsic and extrinsic cues are usually adopted to interpret the purchasing decison making processes. Among extrinsic cues price and brand name have been studied exten-sively but country-of-origin has not been examined in Korea. With the liberalization of retail industry foreign brands are aggressively penetrating in Korean pparel market. Since the penetration of imported apparel has increased tremendously lately the consumer attitude toward foreign produced clothing has great importance. The findings of the study were 1) Price was the most important among extrinsic cues ex-cept quality. Brand name was more important than store and country-of-origin. 2) The country image had significant influence to the preference as apparel production country. 3) The evaluation and willingness to buy of the jeans were greatly influenced by the be-havioral charcteristics of consumer variables. 4) The model to predict the willingness to buy of the jeans has been developed.

The geographical phenomena in space are well observed in the specific scale. This scale is called the operational scale. For an analysis of the optimum scale, it is needed to measure and represent the characteristics of attribute information extracted from the satellite imagery. The development of remote sensing technique makes various images with different resolution available. Researchers can select the image with optimum resolution for their analysis among various resolutions. For an effective analysis of the scale characteristics of satellite image, we investigated the characteristics of attribute information extracted from satellite image with different resolution. The two stage-procedure for exploring the optimum resolution proposed in this study was tested by applying to the satellite imagery covering Sunchon bay. This procedure can be an effective tool utilizing the scale characteristics of attribute information extracted from satellite imagery.
