In the paper, we propose a novel adaptively secure hierarchical identity-based signature scheme from lattices. The size of signatures in our scheme is shortest among the existing hierarchical identity-based signature schemes from lattices. Our scheme is motivated by Gentry et al.'s signature scheme and Agrawal et al.'s hierarchical identity-based encryption scheme.

Fuzzy identity-based cryptography introduces the threshold structure into identity-based cryptography, changes the receiver of a ciphertext from exact one to dynamic many, makes a cryptographic scheme more efficient and flexible. In this paper, we propose the first fuzzy identity-based signcryption scheme in lattice-based cryptography. Firstly, we give a fuzzy identity-based signcryption scheme that is indistinguishable against chosen plaintext attack under selective identity model. Then we apply Fujisaki-Okamoto method to obtain a fuzzy identity-based signcryption scheme that is indistinguishable against adaptive chosen ciphertext attack under selective identity model. Thirdly, we prove our scheme is existentially unforgeable against chosen message attack under selective identity model. As far as we know, our scheme is the first fuzzy identity-based signcryption scheme that is secure even in the quantum environment.

Sahai and Waters first introduced the concept of Fuzzy Identity Based Encryption (FIBE) to provide an error-tolerance property for Identity Based Encryption (IBE) in 2005. Yang et al. extended this idea and introduced the concept of Fuzzy Identity Based Signature (FIBS) in 2008, and constructed a FIBS scheme based on Sahai and Waters's FIBE scheme. In this paper, we further formalize the notion and security model of FIBS scheme and propose a new construction of FIBS scheme based on bilinear pairing. The proposed FIBS scheme not only provide shorter public parameters, private key and signature, but also have useful structures which result in more efficient key extraction, signing and verification than that of Yang et al.'s FIBS scheme.
Since one of weak points of public crypto-systems is to require the verification of public key, identity based crypto-systems were proposed as an alternative. However, such techniques need a private key generator which can be a single point of failure. To improve such weakness, threshold identity-based crypto-systems were proposed. In this paper, we propose a new threshold identity-based encryption scheme which is constructed to extend an identity-based encryption scheme by Cocks. Since the proposed scheme is based on quadratic residues, it has smaller complexity of encryption. And we prove that the proposed scheme is secure against a chosen identity attack.
In this paper, we construct an efficient fuzzy identity-based encryption scheme in the random oracle model. The fuzzy identity-based encryption is an extension of identity-based encryption schemes where a user's public key is represented as his identity. Our construction requires constant number of bilinear map operations for decryption and the size of private key is small compared with the previous fuzzy identity-based encryption of Sahai-Waters. We also presents that our fuzzy identity-based encryption can be converted to attribute-based encryption schemes.

With delegating proxy to process data before outsourcing, data owners in restricted access could enjoy flexible and powerful cloud storage service for productivity, but still confront with data integrity breach. Identity-based data auditing as a critical technology, could address this security concern efficiently and eliminate complicated owners' public key certificates management issue. Recently, Yu et al. proposed an Identity-Based Public Auditing for Dynamic Outsourced Data with Proxy Processing (https://doi.org/10.3837/tiis.2017.10.019). It aims to offer identity-based, privacy-preserving and batch auditing for multiple owners' data on different clouds, while allowing proxy processing. In this article, we first demonstrate this scheme is insecure in the sense that malicious cloud could pass integrity auditing without original data. Additionally, clouds and owners are able to recover proxy's private key and thus impersonate it to forge tags for any data. Secondly, we propose an improved scheme with provable security in the random oracle model, to achieve desirable secure identity based privacy-preserving batch public auditing with proxy processing. Thirdly, based on theoretical analysis and performance simulation, our scheme shows better efficiency over existing identity-based auditing scheme with proxy processing on single owner and single cloud effort, which will benefit secure big data storage if extrapolating in real application.

A fuzzy identity based signature (FIBS) scheme allows a signer with identity ${\omega}$ to generate a signature which could be verified under identity ${\omega}^{\prime}$ if and only if ${\omega}$ and ${\omega}^{\prime}$ are within a certain distance of each other as judged by some metric. In this paper, we propose an efficient FIBS scheme from lattice assumption, which can resist quantum-computer attacks. Without using the Bonsai Tree technique, we utilize the lattice basis delegation technique to generate the private key, which has the advantage of keeping the lattice dimension invariant. We also prove that our proposed scheme is existentially unforgeable under an adaptive chosen message and identity attack in the random oracle model. Compared with existing scheme, our proposed scheme is much more efficient, especially in terms of communication overhead. Since our FIBS scheme possesses similar error-tolerance property, it can be well applied in post-quantum communication biometric authentication environments, where biometric identifiers such as fingerprints, voice, iris and gait are used in human identification.
A hierarchical identity-based broadcast encryption (H-IBBE) scheme is an identity-based broadcast encryption (IBBE) scheme in a hierarchical environment. In order to obtain secure H-IBBE schemes in the quantum era, we propose an H-IBBE scheme based on the learning with errors problemassumption. Our scheme achieves indistinguishability from random under adaptive chosen-plaintext and chosen-identity attacks in the random oracle model.

In order to protect some important information communicated through an insecure network, a common hidden key must be used. One can produce the common hidden key using key agreement protocols; and this helps to have high security in modern data networks. Today, the designers of public key cryptography protocols try to set the public identity of a system's users (like their email addresses) as their public key. This not only makes a cryptographic protocol more efficient but also decreases its cost. These protocols are called "identity-based". In this article, an identity-based multiple key agreement scheme will be presented; this scheme uses the challenge-response method to do the verification. While the number of random values produced in our scheme is the same as other schemes, the number of keys generated in this scheme is much more than what many other key agreement schemes produce,. Therefore, we will have less computational complexities campered with other schems. In this paper, we consider the security of our scheme and consequently, we will show that it satisfies many security conditions such as strong security.

To slove the security and efficiency problem of anonymous authentication in vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET), we adopt the bilinear pairing theory to propose an identity-based batch anonymous authentication scheme for VANET. The tamper-proof device in the on-board unit and the trusted authority jointly realize the anonymity of vehicle identity and the signature of messages, which further enhances the security of this scheme, as well as reduces the overhead of trusted authority. Batch authentication can improve the efficiency of anonymous authentication for VANET. Security and efficiency analyses demonstrate that this scheme not only satisfies such security properties as anonymity, non-forgeability and non-repudiation, but also has advantage in time and space complexity. Simulation results show that this scheme can achieve good performance in real-time VANET communication.
