  • The theory of Place is based on the relations of human being, environment and architecture in the view of the existentialism and phenomenology. A place has two respects, the one is Natural place as landscape and the other is Man-made place as city, public building , private house. These properties of place are appeared through axis , directions, boundaries, centers , enclosures that are basic elements in architecture . Therefore these elements embody sense of place as orientation , identification , identity. imageability, stabilitas loci, heirarchy. And these sensually compositional elements of poace concretize district, landmark, node, path, edge that ceate a setting into work and place in architecture & interior design.

  • Environmental design should be based on the positive theory, a researcher structured symbolic aesthetics on the basis of positive perception theory. Symbolic aesthetics by ecological theory of perception, human preference is related to existence and the formation of place-identity and cognitive map is dealt importantly in this study. Symbolic aesthetics is a study on environmental meaning and a researcher understood the operation of environmental meaning by regarding symbology as a methodological frame and defined architecture as a visual language system after discussing the importance of signified.

제3세대 고속열차(HEMU-400X) 디자인 프로세스의 기본개념에 대한 고찰 (A Perspective of Basic Concept in Design Process for The 3rd Generation KTX(HEMU-400X))

  • Now, the goal of the third generation KTX project is to create a new species of high speed train in order to open a new era of high speed railway system in history by authentic Korean technology and innovative design. Now the third generation KTX, must go beyond the original stagnant paradigm and be positioned as an emotional resource which is creating a shift in the public's perspective of transportation and expanding the idea that transportation intersects the two distinct realms of culture and environment as well. In addition, the overall design should reflect the Korean culture and characteristics, simple yet resonant, both the interior space and the exterior fuselage should portray the dynamic heritage of Korea such as the powerful yet subdued energy of Jung Joong Dong. In short, through the symbolic key words in Korean, Dong(Dynamics), Mek(Pulse), Ryu(Flow), Gam(Sensibility), the third generation KTX design project aims to create an new identity of Korean high speed railway which can stand globally.

경계요소법을 이용한 2 차원 복수 영역 열전도 고체의 형상 설계 민감도 해석 (Shape Design Sensitivity Analysis of Two-Dimensional Thermal Conducting Solids with Multiple Domains Using the Boundary Element Method)

  • A method of the shape design sensitivity analysis based on the boundary integral equation formulation is presented for two-dimensional inhomogeneous thermal conducting solids with multiple domains. Shape variation of the external and interface boundary is considered. A sensitivity formula of a general performance functional is derived by taking the material derivative to the boundary integral identity and by introducing an adjoint system. In numerical analysis, state variables of the primal and adjoint systems are solved by the boundary element method using quadratic elements. Two numerical examples of a compound cylinder and a thermal diffuser are taken to show implementation of the shape design sensitivity analysis. Accuracy of the present method is verified by comparing analyzed sensitivities with those by the finite difference. As application to the shape optimization, an optimal shape of the thermal diffuser is found by incorporating the sensitivity analysis algorithm in an optimization program.

  • 본 논문에서는 WAP 포럼에서 제시하고 있는 무선 인터넷 솔루션인 WAP에서의 보안 메커니즘인 WTLS(Wireless Transport Layer Security), WIM (WAP Identity Module), WMLScript Crypto Library, WPKI(WAP Public Key Infrastructure)에 대해 살펴보고, WAP 게이트웨이를 사용하는 네트워크의 구조적 형태에서 발생되는 종단간 보안 서비스의 문제점에 대해 논의한 후 WAP 환경에서 종단간 보안 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 보안 시스템을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다.

중소도시 개인병원 건축물의 이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Image of the Private Hospital Buildings in Small and Medium-Sized Cities)

  • This study aims to investigate what degree do the hospital buildings carry out their role in regional scenery. To carry out this study the existing theoretical and field survey was conducted to the 44 private hospitals in small and medium-sized cities - Jeonju city, Kunsan city and Iksan city in Jeonlabukdo district. The contents of the survey are the general aspect of the polled, the image of the buildings, that of medical treatment parts, the relations to the regional scenery. And they are questionnaire surveyed to the 44 private hospital buildings. In questionnaire survey, the 35 professional architects who major architecture and related design and 118 citizens who doesn't major architecture are participated. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Those surveyed who answered those private hospital buildings which have their functional images are barely 20%. Some of 27% answered they have images of the commercial building. Especially in professional architects, 5% of them answered thet have their hospital images. It showed that they don't have their identity in the architectural expression in the processof architectural design. 2. The architectural facade elements that express their images in surveyed buildings are answered that architectural building form is 62%, architectural color is 27% and architectural material is 10% in turn. And the architectural elements that express their images in surveyed buildings are answered that building wall is 56%, architectural decoration is 32%. In this article, the reason why the ratio of the architectural decoration is high is that they don' have their identity in building itself. And they expressed their identity by their decoration, sign system not their buildings. 3. As the preference level for their images, some of the 49% of the total surveyed answered common. The general surveyed answered a little preference. But the architect professional group answered preference is 14%, not preference is 29%. The reason of this article is that the general surveyed are familiar with their buildings. So the questionnaire of the harmony with the surrounding scenery, 25% of the general surveyed answered that they are in harmony with surrounding but 22% of them answered that they are not in them. But In professional group, they answered 6% oh them are positive 37% of them are negative. This results suggests that the identity of the private hospital buildings are established in the process of archiectural design.

  • 본 논문은 eduroam의 사용자 대리인증 시스템인 eduroam AND를 소개한다. eduroam은 전 세계 연구기관과 교육기관을 대상으로 서비스 중인 글로벌 무선인터넷 접속 서비스이다. eduroam AND(AutheNtication Delegation)는 eduroam 서비스에 가입되지 않은 국내 연구기관과 교육기관의 구성원들이 eduroam의 사용자 계정을 자가 생성하고 eduroam 서비스에 접속할 수 있게 할 목적으로 개발된 시스템이다. eduroam AND는 국제 표준에 따르는 연합 인증기술을 구현해 적용함으로써 서비스 접근 편의성 향상, 사용자 신원확인과 검증의 용이, 사용자 식별정보의 효율적 관리, 사용자 인증정보의 관리부담 완화 등의 기대효과를 갖는다. 또한 계층적 라우팅 구조를 갖는 eduroam의 노드상태 및 메시지 라우팅 상태 등을 상시 모니터링 함으로써 운영 관리의 효율성을 높일 수 있다. eduroam AND는 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 이용해 구현되었으며 국가과학기술연구망에 구축되어 운영 중이다. 마지막으로 구현결과를 중심으로 eduroam AND를 정성적으로 평가한다.

  • 서명시스템은 오늘날 전자상거래의 활성화를 위한 필수적인 기술로 인식되고 있으나 이의 응용시스템은 사용이 불편하고 보안성이 취약하여 사용자가 이의 사용을 꺼리고 있다. 따라서 사용자의 편의성과 보안성을 동시에 고려하는 서명시스템이 제공되어야 한다. 이의 해결을 위해서 사용자가 서명시스템에 투명하게 접근하여 서명과 검증을 할 수 있도록 식별정보를 사용하는 서버기반의 응용 모델을 제안하고 서명키를 생성하는 구성요소를 클라이언트와 서버에 분산하여 유지하도록 함으로써 서버공격으로부터 야기되는 위험을 감소시킬 수 있는 서명시스템을 설계하고 검증하였다 서명시스템의 응용 모델은 경량급 서버시스템을 인프라로 사용함으로써 경제성을 높이는 동시에 보안성도 고려되도록 설계되어 있어서 전자상거래의 활성화에 이바지하고 기업의 경쟁력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper presents the system of analyzing data in memory of TCMS. This system can show physical data in memory to text and graphic : format. To transfer data from TCMS to this system, a large number of system have used to memory IC card. the method of using memory IC card as a intermediation has many points at issue, that is a speed of transmitting data, life time of IC card and identity of train system each other. So this paper proposes that the method of wireless LAM be adopted by this system to improve the week point of previous method and other method to better the method of wireless LAN.
