  • An additive regular Semiring S is left inversive if the Set E+ (S) of all additive idempotents is left regular. The set LC(S) of all left inversive semiring congruences on an additive regular semiring S is a lattice. The relations $\theta$ and k (resp.), induced by tr. and ker (resp.), are congruences on LC(S) and each $\theta$-class p$\theta$ (resp. each k-class pk) is a complete modular sublattice with $p_{min}$ and $p_{max}$ (resp. With $p^{min}$ and $p^{max}$), as the least and greatest elements. $p_{min},\;p_{max},\;p^{min}$ and $p^{max}$, in particular ${\epsilon}_{max}$, the maximum additive idempotent separating congruence has been characterized explicitly. A semiring is quasi-inversive if and only if it is a subdirect product of a left inversive and a right inversive semiring.

  • An associative ring R with identity is called a clean ring if every element of R is the sum of a unit and an idempotent. In this paper, we introduce the concept of f-clean rings. We study various properties of f-clean rings. Let C = $\(\array{A\;V\\W\;B}\)$ be a Morita Context ring. We determine conditions under which the ring C is f-clean. Moreover, we introduce the concept of rings having many full elements. We investigate characterizations of this kind of rings and show that rings having many full elements are closed under matrix rings and Morita Context rings.

  • Let R be an associative ring with identity, M a t.u.p. monoid with only one unit and ${\omega}:M{\rightarrow}End(R)$ a monoid homomorphism. Let R be a reversible, M-compatible ring and ${\alpha}=a_1g_1+{\cdots}+a_ng_n$ a non-zero element in skew monoid ring $R{\ast}M$. It is proved that if there exists a non-zero element ${\beta}=b_1h_1+{\cdots}+b_mh_m$ in $R{\ast}M$ with ${\alpha}{\beta}=c$ is a constant, then there exist $1{\leq}i_0{\leq}n$, $1{\leq}j_0{\leq}m$ such that $g_{i_0}=e=h_{j_0}$ and $a_{i_0}b_{j_0}=c$ and there exist elements a, $0{\neq}r$ in R with ${\alpha}r=ca$. As a consequence, it is proved that ${\alpha}{\in}R*M$ is unit if and only if there exists $1{\leq}i_0{\leq}n$ such that $g_{i_0}=e$, $a_{i_0}$ is unit and aj is nilpotent for each $j{\neq}i_0$, where R is a reversible or right duo ring. Furthermore, we determine the relation between clean and nil clean elements of R and those elements in skew monoid ring $R{\ast}M$, where R is a reversible or right duo ring.

  • It is shown that a near-ring N which has no nonzero nilpotent elements is a partially ordered set where $x{\leq}y$ if and only if $yx=x^2$. Also it is shown that $(N,{\leq})$ is infinitely distributive for central elements that is $r(supx_i)=sup(rx_i)$ for every central element r of N and any subset $\{x_i\}$ of N. By using some lemmas we showed that a near-ring without nilpotent elements is isomorphic to a direct product of near-fields if and only if N is hyperatomic and orthogonally complete under the condition that every idempotent of N is central.

  • An element of a ring is called strongly nil clean provided that it can be written as the sum of an idempotent and a nilpotent element that commute. A ring is strongly nil clean in case each of its elements is strongly nil clean. We investigate, in this article, the strongly nil cleanness of 2${\times}$2 matrices over local rings. For commutative local rings, we characterize strongly nil cleanness in terms of solvability of quadratic equations. The strongly nil cleanness of a single triangular matrix is studied as well.

  • We in this note consider a generalized ring theoretic property of quasi-commutative rings in relation with powers. We will use the terminology of weakly left quasi-commutative for the class of rings satisfying such property. The properties and examples are basically investigated in the procedure of studying idempotents and nilpotent elements.

  • Let K be an algebraically closed filed of characteristic 0 and let G = Z(sub)m x Z(sub)n. We find the conditions under which the elements of the group ring KG are units and idempotents respectively by using the represented matrix. We can see that if $\alpha$ = ∑r(g)g $\in$ KG is an idempotent then r(1) = 0, 1/mn, 2/mn, …, (mn-1)/mn or 1.

  • Suppose F is an arbitrary field. Let ${\mid}F{\mid}$ be the number of the elements of F. Let $T_{n}(F)$ be the space of all $n{\times}n$ upper-triangular matrices over F. A map ${\Psi}\;:\;T_{n}(F)\;{\rightarrow}\;T_{n}(F)$ is said to preserve idempotence if $A-{\lambda}B$ is idempotent if and only if ${\Psi}(A)-{\lambda}{\Psi}(B)$ is idempotent for any $A,\;B\;{\in}\;T_{n}(F)$ and ${\lambda}\;{\in}\;F$. It is shown that: when the characteristic of F is not 2, ${\mid}F{\mid}\;>\;3$ and $n\;{\geq}\;3,\;{\Psi}\;:\;T_{n}(F)\;{\rightarrow}\;T_{n}(F)$ is a map preserving idempotence if and only if there exists an invertible matrix $P\;{\in}\;T_{n}(F)$ such that either ${\Phi}(A)\;=\;PAP^{-1}$ for every $A\;{\in}\;T_{n}(F)\;or\;{\Psi}(A)=PJA^{t}JP^{-1}$ for every $P\;{\in}\;T_{n}(F)$, where $J\;=\;{\sum}^{n}_{i-1}\;E_{i,n+1-i}\;and\;E_{ij}$ is the matrix with 1 in the (i,j)th entry and 0 elsewhere.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity. We call the ring R to be an almost quasi-coherent ring if for any finite set of elements α1, …, αp and a of R, there exists a positive integer m such that the ideals $\bigcap{_{i=1}^{p}}\;R{\alpha}^m_i$ and AnnRm) are finitely generated, and to be almost von Neumann regular rings if for any two elements a and b in R, there exists a positive integer n such that the ideal (αn, bn) is generated by an idempotent element. This paper establishes necessary and sufficient conditions for the Nagata's idealization and the amalgamated algebra to inherit these notions. Our results allow us to construct original examples of rings satisfying the above-mentioned properties.

  • Let R be a ring with identity 1, I(R) be the set of all nonunit idempotents in R and $S_{\ell}$(R) (resp. $S_r$(R)) be the set of all left (resp. right) semicentral idempotents in R. In this paper, the following are investigated: (1) $e{\in}S_{\ell}(R)$ (resp. $e{\in}S_r(R)$) if and only if re=ere (resp. er=ere) for all nilpotent elements $r{\in}R$ if and only if $fe{\in}I(R)$ (resp. $ef{\in}I(R)$) for all $f{\in}I(R)$ if and only if fe=efe (resp. ef=efe) for all $f{\in}I(R)$ if and only if fe=efe (resp. ef=efe) for all $f{\in}I(R)$ which are isomorphic to e if and only if $(fe)^n=(efe)^n$ (resp. $(ef)^n=(efe)^n$) for all $f{\in}I(R)$ which are isomorphic to e where n is some positive integer; (2) For a ring R having a complete set of centrally primitive idempotents, every nonzero left (resp. right) semicentral idempotent is a finite sum of orthogonal left (resp. right) semicentral primitive idempotents, and eRe has also a complete set of primitive idempotents for any $0{\neq}e{\in}S_{\ell}(R)$ (resp. 0$0{\neq}e{\in}S_r(R)$).
