  • The purpose of this study is to develop furniture design for work space of Office based on the research of furniture design and the survey on the design of the office furniture. The office furniture Is designed in order to use the space flexibly and for the user design in the work space. The furniture type of solo worker on characteristic kinds of works should have a simple shape and it should be safe and easy to move because it has a structural function. The furniture in office should be designed in consideration of moveing line while working. The development of furniture in office which suit human body should be made in consideration of human factors and the study on furniture design in office. As above mentioned, to research and study on the furniture design of working furniture in office which reduces fatigue resulted from labor for office, human factors aspect should be considered, furthermore psychological, mental approach to Ideal solution should be made.

  • In order to align the shaft, the dialgauge method has used as a means of solution until now. The method using a dialgauge require a great deal of labour and money due to making by hand, the accurate alignmentis not up to the expectation. For aligning the shaft, all the rotor must come to accord. It means that the moment of the point of coupling must keep being "Zero". The ideal measurement method as to material on the zero is used by straingauge which can gauge the moment at any point of the shaft. Also, the dialgauge method cannot be compared with straingauge measurement method, form the viewpoint, which can gauge in short time.hort time.

  • Use of the carbon nanotube is superior to general powder state materials of dispersion property. Because its ratio of diameter and length(aspect ratio) is very large, it has been known as a type of ideal nano-reinforcement composite. It used solution mixing method for specimen fabrication. To research dispersion property, we used FE-SEM(Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope) and AFM(Atomic Force Microscope). As a result, this tendency confirms new conductivity network in which the carbon nanotube between carbon black constitute molecules shows a bond by similar constructive property.

  • The dynamic behavior of the rectangular liquid storage structure is known to be greatly influenced by fluid-structure interaction. By mounting the liquid storage structure on the properly designed base isolators, dynamic response of the superstructure can be reduced. However, base isolators inevitably incur large displacement of the structure to the ground ·ind may give adverse effects on the sloshing height. This paper presents the analysis method for fluid-structure-isolator interaction in base-isolated rectangular liquid storage structures. In the method, the irrotational motion of invicid and incompressible ideal fluid is expressed by analytic solutions and the superstructure and isolators are properly modeled by finite element and bilinear model. Free surface sloshing motion, hydrodynamic pressure acting on the wall and structural response are obtained by the presented method.

  • Many companies in these days have pursued an outsourcing policy to survive in a highly competitive world market. To effectively deal with the outsourcing policy, it is required that the companies have a useful method to rationally evaluate a supplier's performance from a viewpoint of a company's strategy and in a comparative-integrated manner. In this paper, we examined the relative importance of supplier selection criteria for a company's strategy by conducting a survey and proposed "Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)" as one of the plausible techniques to evaluate a supplier's total performance. A hypothetical case study is presented to demonstrate the applicability of the method.

  • While the ideal universality of the modern period has achieved outstanding results in terms of establishing sanitary cities in contemporary urban environments, it has caused the decline of the genius loci. This study raises the question of the lost sense of place and proposes a solution, 'The Human-Environmental Ecological City'. The Human-Environmental Ecological City, called 'Ecoumenal City', does not provide a fake idealism with the conclusion of modernity of non-place or sense of place without modernity. It is both cosmological and geogenic, and the technology of the time is projected onto it human-environmentally. It does not pursue any more a urban planning as the overall work of an individual, but it aims at a balance rediscovered through the individual spontaneousness.

  • The Results of colchicine and pretreatment time have shown that the cells of Coho Salmon(Oncorhynchus Kisutch) were effectively injected 6 hours prior to the harvest at a final concentration of 10$\mu\textrm{g}$/g body weight. The cell-density from 8,000 cells/㎣ (=8${\times}$106 ml) was found as ideal. The best effect of hypotonic solution in proportion to the cell is 20 : 1 and 50 minutes. The model number of diploid chromosome in this species was 2n=60. The karyotype analysis proved that the diploid complement consisted of 19 pairs of metacentric-, 4 pairs of submetacentric- and 7 paris of acrocentric-chromosomes. The diagrammatic representation proved that the diploid complement consisted of 7 pairs of metacentric-, 2 pairs of submetacentric- and 1 pair of acrocentric-chromosomes.

  • This paper is aimed to present a fuzzy decision-making approach to deal with disaster recovery priority decision problem in information system. We derive an evaluation approach based on TOPSIS(Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution), to help disaster recovery priority decision of total information system for port logistics in a fuzzy environment where the vagueness and subjectivity are handled with linguistic terms parameterized by trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. This study applies the fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making method to determine the importance weight of evaluation criteria and to synthesize the ratings of candidate disaster recovery system. Aggregated the evaluators' attitude toward preference, then TOPSIS is employed to obtain a crisp overall performance value for each alternative to make a final decision. This approach is demonstrated with a real case study involving 4 evaluation criteria(system dependence, RTO, loss, alternative business support), 7 information systems for port logistics assessed by 5 evaluators from Maritime Affairs and Port Office.

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide the affirmative solution of the following conjecture due to Davis and Geramita. Conjecture; Let A=R[T] be a polynomial ring in one variable, where R is a regular local ring of dimension d. Then maximal ideals in A are complete intersection. Geramita has proved that the conjecture is true when R is a regular local ring of dimension 2. Whatwadekar has rpoved that conjecture is true when R is a formal power series ring over a field and also when R is a localization of an affine algebra over an infinite perfect field. Nashier also proved that conjecture is true when R is a local ring of D[ $X_{1}$,.., $X_{d-1}$] at the maximal ideal (.pi., $X_{1}$,.., $X_{d-1}$) where (D,(.pi.)) is a discrete valuation ring with infinite residue field. The methods to establish our results are following from Nashier's method. We divide this paper into three sections. In section 1 we state Theorems without proofs which are used in section 2 and 3. In section 2 we prove some lemmas and propositions which are used in proving our results. In section 3 we prove our main theorem.eorem.rem.

  • This study investigated university students' (majoring physics education) understanding of some aspects of idealization frequently used in teaching and learning of physics, especially of mechanics. A total of 143 students were given a Questionnaire of six questions requiring written responses. Out of the six questions, the first three were concerned with basic idealized concepts, the next two with the making of the assumptions of ideal conditions for given problem settings, and the last with the identification of the idealization used in the given solution of a problem. Students' written responses were grouped into patterns and the relative frequencies of the patterns were counted. It was found that the students had limited understanding of the idealization and their ideas were diverse and frequently incorrect. The implications of the findings are discussed in relation to the roles of idealization in physics education.
