The study developed the ideas of innovation resistance attitude in view of innovation delay, rejection, and objection. Authors developed the idea of innovation resistance attitudes of customers in view of innovation diffusion process. The study categorized the idea of resistance such as delay, rejection, and objection. The study hired the structural equation modeling to evaluate the relationships among the consumers' subjective variables such as incongruence, uncertainty, perceived performance, peer usage, and tradition orientation those were factored out by the survey test. These measured variables were analyzed into the innovation resistance related latent variables. The study provides the basic treatment to introduce new technologies and products to the superficially resisting customers. Those resisting customers might be future late adopters. The research results provide the basic arguments for prerequisite treatment to introduce smart phone in the global market place.

This study is to examine the public participation activities in the progress of the design competition, purposed to provide urban public spaces by the reuse of industrial heritages. Through the case studies of Berlin Tempelhof Parkland, Mapo Depot and Seoul Station 7017, following activities are common: citizen idea competition, forum, field trip, survey and winners exhibition. However, those activities are more closely organized to the competition process in Tempelhof Parkland, than other tow projects of Seoul Metropolitan Government. Also, it enables to clear and develop the public ideas more that those programs such as survey, citizen idea competition and field trip, are linked to each other in the case of Tempelhof Parkland. It could be achieved by the unified organization between competition preparation and public participation operation.

In this quantitative research, it was enhanced to understand the impact of intrinsic motivation on creative process engagement by examining the significant role of psychological safety on intrinsic motivation. These relationships were examined by targeting the employees working full-time for five star deluxe hotels. Total number of 230 responses had been collected out of 250 cases requested and he number of 213 cases was used for the final analysis. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 7 software program. The results suggested that psychological safety is significantly associated with intrinsic motivation. Furthermore, the hotel employees' problem identification, information searching & coding, and idea generation are affected by intrinsic motivation. That is, intrinsic motivation plays a significant role for each sub-factors of creative process engagement in the hotel industry. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are established and related suggestion for formulating marketing strategy is well discussed.

A new micro actuation concept is introduced and studied in this paper. This idea is based on the thermo-pneumatic actuation principle. In order to improve the performance of a conventional thermo-pneumatic actuator, the idea of bistable buckling is added. By using a membrane which has the bistable buckling characteristics, the working pressure difference can be increased and as a result the work output can be increased. The analysis model for each phenomenon, bistable buckling and phase change, are suggested and the each model is verified with experimental data. From the comparison of the theoretical prediction with the experimental results, it can be concluded that these models are useful for such micro actuator analysis.

This study aims to give a new modern light to a paper and search for a possibility of a paper as a new formative material. And then this study wants to suggest the formative effect of the paper operation as one technique which creates the idea of fashion design and to contribute in enlarging the possibility of expression of fashion design. The results of this study are as follow Firstly a paper is found to be expressed in new moulding forms by the various formative experiments because a paper can be easily and variously used as the material of expression. So the moulding images of paper operation are provided for the idea of fashion design and give much influences on the development of fashion design. Seccondly through the new light on a paper as the formative material it is demonstrated that a paper can be used for the development of many forms and the enlargement of the area of expression in the fashion design. Thirdly in the fashion design the formative effect of the paper operation not only give a variety to silhouette but also forms one technique of creation of new materials

The purpose of this study was to suggest the idea for IAQ improvement of university dormitory through space analysis and residents' evaluation. The data was collected from 105 Konkuk university dormitory residents by a questionnaire survey. As a result, the idea for IAQ improvement of university dormitory can be suggested. First, it was found that it was necessary to improve size of windows and to exchange bathroom exhaust system for ventilation. Secondly, it is important for resident to ventilate and clean their room. Thirdly, the educational program for dormitory residents about maintenance of IAQ was esssentially needed. Also, it is necessary to manage air conditioning equipment maintenance and bathroom hygiene.

In this paper we consider the equality sign as a mathematical concept and investigate its meaning, errors made by students, and subject matter knowledge of mathematics teacher in view of The Model of Mathematic al Concept Analysis, arithmetic-algebraic thinking, and some examples. The equality sign = is a symbol most frequently used in school mathematics. But its meanings vary accor ding to situations where it is used, say, objects placed on both sides, and involve not only ordinary meanings but also mathematical ideas. The Model of Mathematical Concept Analysis in school mathematics consists of Ordinary meaning, Mathematical idea, Representation, and their relationships. To understand a mathematical concept means to understand its ordinary meanings, mathematical ideas immanent in it, its various representations, and their relationships. Like other concepts in school mathematics, the equality sign should be also understood and analysed in vie w of a mathematical concept.

Since Black Monday there has been a rash of systems developments which aimed at automating and upgrading the surveillance mechanism of monitoring the many facets of security trading. A more sophisticated mathematical model for detecting abnormal trading activities was created by Davis and Ord of Penn State along with Nobel prize laureates Solow and Modigliani of MIT. They used CAPM(Capital Asset Pricing Model) to explain the movements of stock price and applied an idea of residuals to detect unusual movements. In this paper, their idea is discussed and a new method is proposed, which involves a confidence interval of future observation in linear regression. One of the examples of the stock watch system adopting this statistical method is also presented.

The characteristics of servo systems are desired to be independent for any unpredicted operational condition. The relation between input current and output flowrate of the servovalve is dependent on the load pressure and the idea of compensation using the load pressure feedback is fundamental theory in this paper. With this idea, this paper researches the performance improvement of hydraulic position control system. Static characteristics of compensated system is analyzed by means of analog computer simulation, digital computer simulation and experiment for nonlinear model and linearized model, respectively.

Louis I. Kahn is cleary one of 20th century great architects. The character of his philosophy of architecture can be condensed as simple words; Architectural Essence, because the very nature of his work based on historicity is so fundamental. Some contemporary architects and architectural critics regard it as a symbol of Post-Modern Architecture era expressing relative multiplicity or an expression of Heideggerian existentialism, but others do as the attribute of fundamentalist like absolute Plato's Idea. Comparing the former, studies of the latter theme have been executed superficially and somewhat biasedly for last decades. In the context, this paper attempt to reanalyze Kahn's idea of 'Architectural Essence' with the deep view of Platonist focused on the concept of binary opposition and causality.
