The purpose of this study was to describe patterns of two dimensions, clothes of three dimensions. The IBM 32Bit Computer Graphics was used in this study. TIPS, LUMENA, FREE STYLE and TOP AS were used as soft wares. The procedures of study were as follows; 1.Selection of motives. 2.Selection of color and gradation. 3.Making patterns. 4.Input patterns of two dimensions on TOP AS. 5.Making Mannequin and fashion illustration. 6.Mapping patterns onto fashion illustration.

This paper studies the efficiency of four algorithms in determining the shortest-route length between two specified nodes of a network in which every pair of nodes is connected by two nonnegative length arcs. The efficiency is measured in terms of number of additions and comparisons in computation of the shortest-route length. Also, each algorithm is programmed on the IBM 1130 for solving for example problems, and the computing time is measured for further efficiency comparisons.

This paper involves a study of developing the production scheduling system in a general job shop type mechanical factory. We consider realistic situations in the job-shop environments, such as alternative machines for operation, the new kinds of processes, the machining center with the plural pallet, the operational situation of each machine during the scheduling period, occurings of urgent orders and machine breakdowns. We also propose the methodology of re-schedule. It is very fast and acceptable for real time production control system. These all functions are implemented on IBM PC and program source is written in PASCAL language.

본 연구의 목적은 4개의 인터넷 특허정보 데이터베이스의 탐색기능을 비교분석 함으로서 각 데이터베이스의 활용도를 제시하고 더 나아가 인터넷 상의 특허정보 데이터베이스의 이용자 우호적인 인터페이스 설계를 위한 기초 자료로 사용하려고 한다. 연구방법으로는 비교적 인지도가 높은 국내의 Patrom과 국외의 USPTO, QPAT-US, IBM을 선택하여 데이터베이스의 수록항목, 주요항목, 검색방법, 멀티미디어 검색기능, 웹으로 지원 가능한 정보자원의 형태를 중심으로 비교 분석한다.

The parte(I) of this paper deals with the motion analysis of a gear type high speed planting mechanism of rice transplanters. Following that this part(II) contains force analysis of the mechanism. Forces and moments acting on the mechanism were determined analytically and computer coded for the simulation of them on any IBM PC compatiable machines. The simulation program developed in this study can be used as a design tool and also for a sensitivity analysis.

Human body sways continuously to maintain balance during upright stance. A computer-aided instrumentation system using a force platform has been developed to investigate the body balance. The Kistler force platform and amplifiers were only used to obtain the precise measurements, and the data acquisition and analysis software operating on an IBM PC with A/D converter was developed. This study presents methods for the display of platform center of pressure data on stability study. This system can be used as a tool in evaluating the man's ability to balance and disorders of the nervous system.

고 가용성 솔루션으로 IBM에서 내놓은 것이 HACMP이다. 이 HACMP는 두대 이상의 SYSTEM을 하나의 "cluster"로 묶어서, 각 시스템이 감시하고 있다가 한 대에 장애가 발생하면, 다른 시스템이 장애가 발생한 System의 자원을 "takeover"하는 것이다. 이 논문에서 제시하고자 하는 내용은 HACMP를 구축하는데, 쓰이는 기법 중 Mode 3의 특징들과 쓰임을 명확히 알 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 지금현재 Mode 3 구축 기법을 이용해 HACMP를 사용중인 회사의 구축 후 장애 사례를 시스템, 네트워크 아답터, 네트워크 전체장애 별로 구분하여 나타내고 있다.체장애 별로 구분하여 나타내고 있다.

The medical image processing system is intended for a diverse set of users in the medical Imaging Parts. This system consists of a 640 Kbyte IBM-PC/AT with 30 Mbyte hard disk, special purpose image processor with video input devices and display monitor. Image may be recorded and processed in real time at sampling rate up to 10 MHz. This system provides a wide range of image enhancement processing facilities via a menu-driven software packages. These facilities include point by point processing, image averaging, convolution filter and subtraction.

최근에 네트워크 환경이 좋아지고 인터넷 사용이 급증함에 따라 이동 에이전트(Mobile Agent) 기술이 정보검색, 네트워크 관리 , 전자상거래, 병렬/분산처리 등의 분야에 널리 활용되고 있다. 이동 에이전트 시스템에서 전체 수행시간은 이동 에이전트의 코드 크기, 이동 에이전트의 데이터 크기 , 이동 에이전트의 전송 방법에 따라 좌우된다. 본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트 환경에 참여하는 모든 노드들에게 보다 빠르게 에이전트를 전송하는 방법들을 실험적으로 평가하고 에이전트 이동시 노드의 결함(Fault)이 발생할 때 그 해결방안을 연구한화. 에이전트 전송 및 결함 허용에 대한 성능평가는 IBM's Aglets Software Development Kit 환경을 이용하였다.

1. Interleukin-2(IL-2)를 연간 1.227㎏을 생산하는 공장의 공정 설계를 IBM PC를 사용한 Super-pro designer를 이용해서 공정 모사를 해보았다. 각 단위공정의 계산자를 정하기 위한 계산을 가정과 5L fermenter 배양의 결과를 이용하여 up-stream을 설계하고, downstream 에서는 28%의 분리정제 수율을 가정하고 전체 공정을 설계하였다. 2. 경제성 분석에 의하면 IL-2의 dose당 $20로 할 때, 투자 상환율(return on investment)이 일년에 40.63%이었으며, 투자금액의 상환에 걸리는 시간은 약 2.46년이 걸리는 것으로 나왔다.
