Development and Implementation of Mobile APP for Marine Pollution Responder (해양오염 방제작업자를 위한 모바일 앱의 개발과 구현)

  • The objective of this paper is to introduce on a mobile APP called MAMIS(Marine pollution Accident response Mobile Information System) and it's functions. MAMIS was developed by Korea Coast Guard for marine pollution responder in 2012. Users can get information on marine pollution response easily without being restricted by time and place. MAMIS can be operated by smart phones with Android OS and iOS, both of which are the most popular mobile operating systems in Korea. And it has been developed in the form of hybrid APP which combined the functions of mobile APP and mobile WEB. MAMIS is composed of 9 menus, 5 mobile-based ones and 4 web-based ones. The mobile-based menus are on substance information, clean-up skills, response measures, QR code scanning, and volunteer's safety, and the web-based ones on weather information, response equipment, clean-up materials, and SNS.

  • 유니티3D는 게임 회사에서 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 게임 엔진 중의 하나이다. 다양한 장르의 게임을 쉽고 간편하게 개발 할 수 있고, 또한 개발비를 절약 할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 다양한 플랫폼 지원으로 인해 iOS(iPhone Operating System) 환경, 안드로이드(Android) 환경에 맞도록 최적화 하여 플랫폼 전환도 가능하다. 본 논문은 유니티3D에서 강점인 NGUI(Next-Gen UI)의 사용방법과 설계에 대한 방법을 통해서, 사용자 인터페이스 개발에 쉽게 접근 할 수 있는 방법에 대해 소개한다.

  • Many people are now enjoying mobile games using various smartphone platforms. However, we have to develop games separately for each smart device platforms so far. Cocos2d-x, a game development framework is released to solve this problem. As a multiplatform version of the existing Cocos2d, Cocos2d-x can make one source code run on various platforms. It is an open software that is able to be used by everyone, and when using it, mobile games can be developed easily based on C++ and OpenGL. In this paper, we implemented a PC laboratory decorating game application, named ILove501, using Cocos2d-x. The 501 is a room number of our PC lab. ILove501 includes an educational feature of solving quizzes in order to highlight positive effects of game. For implementation of a multiplatform game, ILove501 was developed in Windows and iOS environment at the same time, and we verified the results of the execution by porting on a variety of devices such as Android, iPhone, iPad and Galaxy Tab.

  • This paper is a study on the development of an app that assists in putting alignment in golf. The proposed app measures the position and size of the hole cup on the green to provide the distance between the hole cup and the aiming point. To achieve this, artificial intelligence object recognition technology was applied in the development process. The app measures the position and size of the hole cup in real-time using object recognition technology on the camera image of the smartphone. The app then displays the distance between the aiming point and the hole cup on the camera image to assist in putting alignment. The proposed app was developed for iOS on the iPhone. Performance testing of the developed app showed that it could sufficiently recognize the hole cup in real-time and accurately display the distance to provide helpful information for putting alignment.

  • The changes in the game platform is appeared since the advent of smart-phones. Apple's iOS or Google's Android platform is gradually expanding their territories in the mobile game area. Android's platform fragmentation and the absence of game development framework act as barriers for game developments. In the development of game applications on the smart-phone, the standardized development procedures under game framework can achieve the productivity improvement. In this paper, we propose a new design pattern suitable for the design of a framework for new areas of application through the expansion of existing framework. The design and implementation of the Android game development framework is presented by taking advantage of existing design patterns and a proposed pattern. Also we propose the standardized development procedure of game applications under the proposed framework.

  • 스마트폰 작동 플랫폼의 다양화와 빠른 진화속도로 인하여 어플리케이션의 개발 및 유지보수에 많은 시간과 노력이 요구되고 있다. 스마트폰 어플리케이션 개발은 플랫폼(iOS, Android 및 Window) 별로 각각 진행하고 있다. 따라서 한 어플리케이션을 다른 플랫폼에서 사용하기 위해서는 그 플랫폼에 맞게 다시 개발을 해야 하는 번거로움을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 플랫폼 독립적인 스마트폰 어플리케이션 개발을 할 수 있도록 MDA와 SOA를 응용한 프레임워크를 제시하여 플랫폼에 종속되지 않고 어플리케이션을 개발할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

  • In this paper, we research on the personal information protection system in smart-phone based on mobile environment. This paper proposes the enhanced personal location privacy mechanism in location-based service environment of a smart phone operating system(iOS, Android) for the relevant regulations on location-based protection and utilization. Also, the result verified that possibility on a self-control mechanism of the personal information protection system's subject in the window platform throughout the experiment. Therefore, this study have drew a method that user positively can cope with a protection of personal location information by having a user's self-control method in the system under development or done by illegal location-based service providers and illegal application developer.

  • Xamarin is a representative cross-platform development framework that allows developers to write mobile apps in C# for multiple mobile platforms, such as Android, iOS, or Windows Phone. Using Xamarin, mobile app developers can reuse existing C# code and share significant code across multiple platforms, reducing development time and maintenance costs. Meanwhile, malware authors can also use Xamarin to spread malicious apps on more platforms, minimizing the time and cost of malicious app creation. In order to cope with this problem, it is necessary to analyze and detect malware written with Xamarin. However, little studies have been conducted on static analysis methods of the apps written in Xamarin. In this paper, we examine the structure of Android apps written with Xamarin and propose a static analysis technique for the apps. We also demonstrate how to statically reverse-engineer apps that have been transformed using code obfuscation. Because the Android apps written with Xamarin consists of Java bytecode, C# based DLL libraries, and C/C++ based native libraries, we have studied static reverse engineering techniques for these different types of code.

  • A cell phone is very close to the user and therefore should be considered in digital forensic investigation. Recently, the proportion of smartphone owners is increasing dramatically. Unlike the feature phone, users can utilize various mobile application in smartphone because it has high-performance operating system (e.g., Android, iOS). As acquisition and analysis of user data in smartphone are more important in digital forensic purposes, smartphone forensics has been studied actively. There are two way to do smartphone forensics. The first way is to extract user's data using the backup and debugging function of smartphones. The second way is to get root permission, and acquire the image of flash memory. And then, it is possible to reconstruct the filesystem, such as YAFFS, EXT, RFS, HFS+ and analyze it. However, this methods are not suitable to recovery and analyze deleted data from smartphones. This paper introduces analysis techniques for fragmented flash memory pages in smartphones. Especially, this paper demonstrates analysis techniques on the image that reconstruction of filesystem is impossible because the spare area of flash memory pages does not exist and the pages in unallocated area of filesystem.

A study on hamburger button UI of smart phone (스마트 폰의 햄버거 버튼 UI 연구)

  • The controversy about the burger button triggered in 2013 is that it is difficult to know what the hamburger button itself means and that it is difficult to predict what will happen when the button is clicked, Could. This controversy was found to be fundamentally out of touch, and it could be seen that it caused conflict with Apple's navigation structure with iOS. Therefore, in the case of Apple, it is often used in the form of a tab at the bottom instead of using the slide menu, but it is preferable to be used for the purpose of the hamburger button. I've looked through a variety of documents and found that the amount of content you want to offer on your app or the web is large, and there are five or more categories. And if a sub-category needs to exist in the main category like a large shopping mall, the hamburger button could provide the best UI. Apps and webs that can be curated, such as news and pinterest, are better used to enhance the search filter than to place a hamburger button, and for apps or the web that has a longer amount of content on a page Scrolling was available as an alternative to the burger button. In other words, depending on the amount of content to be provided, it is possible to decide whether to use the hamburger menu from the time of designing the information architecture.
