Purpose - This study examines the role of e-commerce resulting from technological innovation as a new approach toward internationalization. We study the relationship between e-commerce export and country distance, measured in CAGE distance, which has hindered traditional internationalization. As a control variable, entrepreneurship was introduced to check the moderating effect on the relationship between country distance and e-commerce export. Design/methodology - Based on empirical analysis, e-commerce exports from the Republic of Korea to 96 countries were used as dependent variables. First, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis about each country's distance, measured by CAGE distance, and each dimension of CAGE, on e-commerce exports. Next, the hypothesis was tested through the interaction term to examine the moderating effect of entrepreneurship. Findings - The analysis showed that the hypothesis, which postulated e-commerce exports as affected negatively by the country's distance, was supported but not that all CAGE dimensions affected it. Specifically, geographical distance and economic distance have negative effects, but cultural distance and administrative distance did not affect e-commerce exports. Thus, in contrast to the expectation that distance restrictions in e-commerce would not exist, this study confirmed that distance still matters to internationalization and that entrepreneurship can mitigate the adverse effects. Originality/value - Through these results, when export firms try to enter new markets and start internationalization through e-commerce, the entrepreneurship of the importing country should be considered.

The objective of this paper is to investigate the impact of economic growth (per capita real GDP), the square of per capita real GDP, energy use, financial development (FD), and foreign direct investment (FDI) on ecological footprint (EF) in the case of Malaysia over the period 1971-2014, by employing the ARDL approach. The long-run results revealed that economic growth has a significant positive impact on the ecological footprint and it implies that the economic growth deteriorates the environmental quality in Malaysia. Conversely, the square of GDP showed a negative and significant impact on the EF in the long run. As the coefficient of GDP in our study is positive and statistically significant while the coefficient of squared GDP is negatively significant, thus, this study supports the presence of the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis in the case of Malaysia. Furthermore, the result indicates that FDI has a positive and significant impact on the EF in the long run, which means a rise in FDI will enhance the environmental pollution level. Thus, it confirms the pollution haven hypothesis. Hence, it suggests that Malaysia imposes stricter environmental policies. Further, FDI and FD are causing GDP in Malaysia, but through increasing EF.
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the factors of delivery app service failure on consumption well conflict emotion and complaining behavior targeting consumers with experience using delivery apps, and the results of the study are summarized as follows. First, when looking at the demographic analysis, the proportion of men was 58.1% and women were 41.9%, and the age group was the highest with 91.9% in their 20s. Second, as a result of testing hypothesis 1 that the factor of delivery app service failure will have a significant influence on consumer conflict emotions, failure to provide app information and failure to deliver/food service showed a significant positive (+) relationship. Third, as a result of the verification of Hypothesis 2, that consumer conflict emotions will have a significant effect on the consumer's continued use intention, it was found to be insignificant and rejected. Lastly, hypothesis 3 that consumer conflict emotions will have a significant effect on consumer complaints behavior is that negative word of mouth behavior, complaint behavior from service providers, and complaint behavior from service managers were adopted, but the complaint behavior was rejected by third parties.

Soluble silica profiles of the East Sea were described by comparing the 1970 Japanese data with the 1999-2000 ONR-JES data set, which is the most extensive collection of data currently available. Considering the ventilation mode change happened/ongoing and the features of the soluble silica to phosphate ratio we suggest a hypothesis that a utilization of soluble silica by the primary production might be exacerbated in the future. According to the silica limitation hypothesis composition of primary producers will be altered and followed by a weaker contribution of ballast against aggregates in the export production. Since the silicate cycle is deeply intertwined with the carbon cycle whether the warmed future ocean would behave like the East Sea appears to a potentially promising study theme.

Canny edge detection of the image is composed of four kinds of Gaussian filter, gradient calculation, Non-maximum suppression, and Hypothesis Thresholding. Feature is the ratio between the vehicle body, the windows, and the wheels obtained from the edge image. Features that make the proportion of these vehicles are different for each respective model. We have identified by application of this algorithm where only a small vehicle.

With the advent of so-called "default" Bayesian hypothesis tests, scientists in applied fields have gained access to a powerful and principled method for testing hypotheses. However, such default tests usually come with a compromise, requiring the analyst to accept a one-size-fits-all approach to hypothesis testing. Further, such tests may not have the flexibility to test problems the scientist really cares about. In this tutorial, I demonstrate a flexible approach to generalizing one specific default test (the JZS t-test) (Rouder et al., Psychonomic Bulletin & Review, 16, 225-237, 2009) that is becoming increasingly popular in the social and behavioral sciences. The approach uses two results, the Savage-Dickey density ratio (Dickey and Lientz, 1980) and the technique of encompassing priors (Klugkist et al., Statistica Neerlandica, 59, 57-69, 2005) in combination with MCMC sampling via an easy-to-use probabilistic modeling package for R called Greta. Through a comprehensive mathematical description of the techniques as well as illustrative examples, the reader is presented with a general, flexible workflow that can be extended to solve problems relevant to his or her own work.
Internet of Things (IoT) is considered the future network to support wireless communications. To realize an IoT network, sufficient spectrum should be allocated for the rapidly increasing IoT devices. Through cognitive radio, unlicensed IoT devices exploit cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) to opportunistically access a licensed spectrum without causing harmful interference to licensed primary users (PUs), thereby effectively improving the spectrum utilization. However, an open access cognitive IoT allows abnormal IoT devices to undermine the CSS process. Herein, we first establish a hard-combining attack model according to the malicious behavior of falsifying sensing data. Subsequently, we propose a weighted sequential hypothesis test (WSHT) to increase the PU detection accuracy and decrease the sampling number, which comprises the data transmission status-trust evaluation mechanism, sensing data availability, and sequential hypothesis test. Finally, simulation results show that when various attacks are encountered, the requirements of the WSHT are less than those of the conventional WSHT for a better detection performance.

The purpose of this study is to verify study models and examine a causal relationship among authenticity, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, quality of life and job achievement for amateur business team player. In order to achieve the purpose, this study conducted structural equation model analysis for study models consisting of extraneous variables after examining the authenticity(organization, leader) that amateur business players perceive and endogenous variables including job satisfaction, organizational commitment, quality of life, and job performance. The object of questionnaires in this study selected sports business team players nationwide as a population and 348 players were chosen as final effective samples by applying a convenient sampling method for offline and online questionnaires. The research tool for this study is a questionnaire. The two dimensions of authenticity were used by developing a scale. For all endogenous variables, the scales used in previous studies were modified and used according to the purpose of the study. This study analyzed the collected data, applying SPSS Win ver. 23.0 and AMOS 20.0 programs in order to analyze the characteristics of the study objects, describe questionnaires, and verify selected study hypothesis, individual hypothesis was verified after identifying the reliability and validity of measurement model, and the fitness verification of study models. In the results, all of the 8 hypothesis were adopted and the reciprocal relationship among each factors in the study model were observed.

Urban flood management(UFM) strategy ought to consider the connections and interactions between existing and new infrastructures to manage stormwater and improve the capacity to treat water. It is also important to demonstrate strategies that can be implemented to reduce the flow at flooding sources and minimize flood risk at critical locations. Although the general theory of spatial impact is popular, modeling guidelines that can provide information for implementation in real-world plans are still lacking. Under such background, this study conducted a modeling research based on an actual target site to confirm the hypothesis that it is appropriate to install green infrastructure(GI) in the source area and to take structural protection measures in the impact area, as summarized in previous studies. The results of the study proved the hypothesis, but the results were different from the hypothesis depending on which hydrological performance indicators were targeted. This study will contribute to demonstrating the effectiveness of strategies that can be implemented to reduce the flow at flooding sources and minimize the risk of flooding in critical locations in terms of spatial planning and regeneration.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine how job seekers' spec influence their actual employment especially focusing on the differentiating effects of applicants' specs depending on whether general or decent job employment. Design/methodology/approach - This study conducted analyses on 54,443 samples that incorporated data from the Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey for three years (2017-2019) collected by the Korea Employment Information Service. The linear probability model and logit model were used to examine the research questions. Findings - The results analyzed with the hierarchical regression model showed that most job seekers' specs were statistically significant in predicting employment status. Interestingly, there is a difference between the factors predicting employment for a general job and a decent job. This study suggests academic and practical implications for future research in the selection/ recruitment field by clarifying the critical factors to influence applicants' employment. Research implications or Originality The results of this study follow the screening hypothesis which explains that the applicants' specs have significant impacts on actual employment. Also, the dual labor market theory, which explains that applicants' specs differently affect actual employment between general and decent jobs, was reaffirmed.
