  • Many studies have been conducted on large-scale graphene synthesis by chemical vapor deposition. Furthermore, numerous researchers have attempted to develop processes that can continuously fabricate uniform and high-quality graphene. To compete with other types of carbon materials (carbon black, carbon fiber, carbon nanotubes, and so on), various factors, such as price, mass manufacturing capability, and quality, are crucial. Thus, in this study, we examine various large-scale graphene production methods focusing on cost competitiveness and productivity improvements for applications in various fields.

  • This study reviews application of data-driven anomaly detection techniques to the aviation domain. Recent advances in deep learning have inspired significant anomaly detection research, and numerous methods have been proposed. However, some of these advances have not yet been explored in aviation systems. After briefly introducing aviation safety issues, data-driven anomaly detection models are introduced. Along with traditional statistical and well-established machine learning models, the state-of-the-art deep learning models for anomaly detection are reviewed. In particular, the pros and cons of hybrid techniques that incorporate an existing model and a deep model are reviewed. The characteristics and applications of deep learning models are described, and the possibility of applying deep learning methods in the aviation field is discussed.

  • This work reported the trends of bioceramic materials for beauty-care applications with the several represent examples - tone-up, sun-care and anti-pollution cosmetics. The development of cosmetic techniques was discussed and reviewed with various ceramic hybrid materials. Moreover, we also reported the preparation and application of functional cosmetics with silicified liposome particles as a good make-up material for controlled release with natural compounds. The homogeneous loading and highly controlled-release formulation with porous and silicified ceramic liposome ceramic materials were discussed.

  • Using some interesting convolution, we find kernels recovering the given function f. By a slight change of this convolution, we obtain an identity filter related to the Fourier series in the discrete time domain. We also introduce some techniques to decompose an impulse into several dilated pieces in the discrete domain. The detail examples deal with specific constructions of those decompositions. Also we obtain localized moving averages from a decomposition of an impulse to make hybrid Bollinger bands, that might give various strategies for stock traders.

  • The sequence of ginseng peptide gene was designed and synthesized by the solid phase phosphoramidiate method. Synthetic segments were isolated, pllrified and joined to the plasmid pUC19. E.icherichiu coli JM101 cells were transformed with above hybrid plasmids. AmpiciIBin resistant transformants were screened and identified by in situ colony hybridization and Southern blot techniques. Finally the gene sequencing was done by the Sanger dideoxy method using primer extension.

  • In this paper we deal with that the performance indices by the three adaptive sampling control laws are computed and compared. It shows that the most effective control law is the integral input difference method. The techniques of simulation by Analog/Hybrid computer are presented and the results of the output illustrate that the maximum and minimum sampling interval can be applied to the time sharing of digital controller or computer.

  • This paper describes a control method of hybrid power assistive system for lower body, HAL, with the techniques of Phase Sequence and the application of EMG. Our objective is to attain the power assist control of motion in the lower body effectively with these two methods. The Phase Sequence which performs basic motion controls of HAL is the method that a motion, the Task, is accomplished by dividing each motion into the unit named Phase and ...

  • The method of using fiber speckle patterns can be applied to the multiplexing of volume holograms. Fiber speckle patterns enable various multiplexing techniques such as shift, angular, and mode-scrambling methods Hybrid methods involving more than one multiplexing technique are also possible. Some images are stored and retrieved with one or two of multiplexing methods, and the experimental results are discussed.
