The purposes of this study were to develop and apply teaching-learning plans using ARCS strategies to improve character of middle school students and analyze whether a home economics class helps to give positive effects on youth character change. Nine-period classes were conducted for 110 male students in 4 classes of M middle school in Gwangju metropolitan city for 5 weeks from March 6 through April 7 in 2017. The effectiveness of classes were examined with learners' class assessment and pre- and post- character index test. The research steps and results in this study are as follows. First, the teaching-learning plans for 9 periods were developed for the character education class of the chapter 'Understanding families'. These teaching and learning course plans were designed to enhance learner's interests in learning using ARCS motivational strategy and improve character of middle school students in consideration of character elements. In the chapter 'Understanding families' of Technology Home Economics in middle school, the teaching-learning plans for 9 periods, 14 student activity sheets, and 2 powerpoint materials for teaching and learning were developed. Second, students who had the character education classes using ARCS motivational strategy showed significant differences in all character elements. Therefore, the character education class using ARCS shows positive effects to build up character of middle school students. Third, the character education classes using ARCS motivational strategy increased the class satisfaction of learners. The character education class teaching and learning course plans and learning materials in Technology Home Economics using ARCS motivational strategy will be used as a basic resource to build up students' character in the future.

The most popular speech feature used in speech recognition today is the Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) algorithm, which could reflect the perception characteristics of the human ear more accurately than other parameters. This paper adopts MFCC and its first order difference, which could reflect the dynamic character of speech signal, as synthetical parametric representation. Furthermore, we quote Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) algorithm to search match paths in the pattern recognition process. We use the software "GoldWave" to record English digitals in the lab environments and the simulation results indicate the algorithm has higher recognition accuracy than others using LPCC, etc. as character parameters in the experiment for Digital Isolated Word Recognition (DIWR) system.

This study was carried out to investigate the correlation between toluene in air and hippuric acid in human urine, which is based in the results of the health check-in and measure of working environment, was investigated for five years. Toluene in air and hippuric acid in urine were checked 116 workers who exposed to toluene in five type of industry. The Mean concentration of toluene in air by type of industry and every year and sex distinction, had positive correlation.(p<0.01) The Mean concentration of hippuric acid in urine by type of industry, every year, sex distinction, disparity of age and term of duty had positive correlation.(p<0.01).

Modern people communicate in a digital space without being limited by physical space and time. On the internet, people's desire for self-expression is getting bigger, and the most common self-expression tool is characters. Characters are visual materials to express human thoughts and desires. This study is a method to positively express the viewer's self in an interactive Hangeul system. The proposed system produces new formative shapes and meanings of Hangeul through the process of deconstructing and reconstructing the characters. Immediate character transformations that are synchronized with the motion of the viewer act as a tool of self-expression by inducing the viewer's active interaction repeatedly. Therefore, the proposed interactive Hangeul is more than enough to be used as a new graphic tool beyond the text to be read, and it is highly likely to develop into cultural contents using it.

This paper proposes the system to generate caricature (character's face) resembling human face using extracted facial features automatically. Since this system is vector-based, the generated character's face has no size limit and constraint. So it is available to transform the shape freely and to apply various facial expressions to 2D face. Moreover, owing to the vector file's advantage, it can be used in mobile environment as small file site.

This paper is proposed due to the fact that resolving domain name with conventional input method to PDA is not so convenient. The substance of this paper is that a user Pronounces tile character which represents tile domain name and that vocalized character is transferred through the GATEWAY, where DNS service can be received in return. PDA receives, compress and send the voice to the GATEWAY, Then, the GATEWAY uncompress, recognizes the voice, converts to characters, search for the mapping entry After mapping to the mapping entry, the GATEWAY sends the DNS request. Combining two entities makes DNS service based on the human voice possible.

The yardstick of value has transformed into personal and sensitive one after it went through an Industrial society. The space in the society of sensitivity is defined by a semiotic character rather than as a physical object aimed at satisfying basic desire. Through this character, space makes a meaning and comes to exist an exchanging productive place. Environmental transformation is demanding further ample sensitive expression. In connection with the above, this thesis aims to identify the characteristics of sensitive and human-centered approach and systematize the analogy analysis which is applied to the interior space, classified by elements by introducing the concept of analogic inference in the field of rhetoric and through a diverse genres. As an approach, this thesis is entitled the analogic inference of the field of rhetoric to various art genres, and as a analogic interpretation genre, this thesis Is subdivided it into the fields of literature, image, fashion, flower art, and visual design, and study the analysis of analogic inference as a means of materializing storied space through the connection literature with design.

In the PCB assembly lines, as components become more complex and smaller, the conventional inspection method using traditional ICT and function test show their limitations in application. The automatic optical inspection(AOI) gradually becomes the alternative in the PCB assembly line. In Particular, the PCB inspection machines need more reliable and flexible object recognition algorithms for high inspection accuracy. The novel literature of the Romantic era was characterized by emotionally charged and imaginatively rich works. During this period, authors brought a new flow to the literary scene by exploring romantic themes in their unique styles. Various themes and genres emerged, diversifying the novel's target audience. It was during this era that Emily Brontë's "Wuthering Heights" was published. In this paper, we aim to explore the theme of alleviating internal turmoil within this novel, focusing on one enigmatic character, Heathcliff, among the main protagonists. We will illuminate Heathcliff's tumultuous past, analyzing the intricate connections of events that led to profound psychological anguish. By scrutinizing his actions and outward expressions, this paper seeks to understand the manifestation of his internal pain in interactions with other characters. We present a more comprehensive understanding of "Wuthering Heights," transcending the conventional boundaries of literary analysis. It not only proposes practical methods for alleviating internal turmoil but also sheds light on the timeless theme of divine love, offering readers a profound framework for interpreting the complexities of human relationships and the pursuit of inner peace.

Background and purpose: Seven Emotions consist of Joy(喜), Anger(怒), Anxiety(憂), Thought(思), Sorrow(悲), Fear(恐), Fright(驚). If Seven Emotion is excessive, its extreme mental stimulation causes physical illness. There was no study of the Seven Emotion Disease in detail for now. Therefore the purpose of this study is to pigeonhole the Seven Emotion Disease. Methods: We extract the sentences about the Seven Emotion and related words in Donguibogam. We classify the sententences into Joy(喜), Anger(怒), Anxiety(憂), Thought(思), Sorrow(悲), Fear(恐), Fright(驚), Frustration, Mental Exhaustion, Character. We analysis pattern of Symptoms Derived from Seven Emotions. Results and Conclusions Seven Emotion give rise to various type of symptom. In special Anger cause more illness than other Seven Emotion.
