  • The purpose of this paper is to seek the dwelling conditions for comfortable life like urban apartment with agriculture in farming area. In order to do above things, we divide types of people who is planning to 'return farm' and need to heavily research and analyze current status of use for farm house's each spaces include outside spaces. so this paper aimed that at first, divide types of farmhouse following agriculture condition for people who is living in rural and survey the present condition and problems by analyzing of present status of space use and draw the improvement plans for those. after then, finally make a architectural basic data for Rural houses plan. For the future, the main purpose of this paper is that make architectural provision possible by researching types and size of storage following sort and size of farm.

A Study on the regional economic impact of farmland reverse mortgage using farmers' net asset - In case of Gyeongsangbuk-Do - (순자산을 활용한 농촌형 역모지기 도입의 지역경제 파급효과 - 경상북도 지역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the regional economic impact of reverse mortgage system based on farmer's net asset of house and farmland together. The regional economic impact was estimated by using inter-regional input-output model. Major findings are as follows: 1) The result of input-output analysis shows that 49,130 million won of production effect, 20,040 million won of value added effect, and 24,759 number of employment effect, 2) Since the result shows that the elderly spend most of the reverse mortgage money for their living expenses, it seems necessary to adopt net asset based reverse mortgage system to improve and stabilize farmers' living conditions and regional economy.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic information on the rural house planning through the research on the use of the standard plans, architectural characteristics, importance of the planning points and housing satisfaction of the residents. 25 rural households scattered around Chungchong provinces-south and north- were surveyed for this study through the questionnaire method. The results of this study were as follows. The importance considered first was the low construction costs, and therefore the standard plans were not fully acknowledged and commonly used. Most real plans are the single-floor houses with 3 rooms, having 25-30 pyong magnitude. The planning points stressed highly were the storage space, convenience of the plan and size of the living room. Housing satisfaction level was high on direction of the facade, size of the living room and position of the bath/washing room, but low for the storage space.

  • The purpose of paper is to suggest directions of sustainable Architecture for dwelling planning. It deals with foreign example regading recycling Architecture in the point of using natural reources and energy effectively and minimizing environmental wastes. The methods which can be applied to Korean dwelling planning are as follows : 1) To use the underground space of apartments as pubilc energy-saving facility 2) To use conservatory passive solar systems at south-facing balconies of apartments 3) To flow daylight into the staircase of single-family house 4) To construct compactly doors and windows which have high-level insulation with high insulated walls and ventilation systems 5) To recycle materials such as steel, wood and soil 6) To recycle space according to the change of uses 7) To make users participate actively when we plan for dwelling.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the state of the living arrangement plan, the housing plan, and economic plan for elderly's life and contributing factors to their life plan. The sample in this study consisted of 713 middle-aged and aged couple living in Korea. Statistics employed for the analysis were frequencies, means, x2 test, logit analysis and multiple regression. The results could be summarized as follows. The middle-aged and aged couple were planning to live independently in their elderly life. The husband's age, religion, living area, total income, total asset, home owenership had significant effects on the living arrangement of the middle-aged and aged. They had a plan to live in single detached house in their elderly life. And husband's age, educational attaintment, job, and living region were affecting the housing type in their elder life. The middle-aged and aged people had a economic plan that they estimated 970,000 won as living cost in their elderly life. And the factors affecting living costs were husband's educational attaintment, job, and total asset.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the family economy planning in the side of economic welfare and to discuss its problems. Hypothesis testing and survey analysis whether nuclear family have been formed in the urban communities or not are investigated. Also, survey of family economic period are classified in the following manner. First, as the beginning of family, they are interested in savings, children's education and investment of an estate. Third, as the contracting period of family, they rely upon other's financial supports. Therefore, it is desirable for each family to establish family life cycle planning. As the results of hypothesis testing, 1) Nuclear family have been formed in urban communities. 2) The age of housewives is not concerned with whether their husband's parents live in the same house or not. 3)The age of housewives is not concerned with whether their parents lived with them or not. 4) The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly income is not significant. 5) The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly expenditure is significant. 6)The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly savings is not significant.

  • There are some studies about user's participation to reflect their desire and value on the planning of house by this time. These were constitution of unit space focused on the apartments, which is mostly theoretical. In architectural planning process, it takes time for continuous discussion and revision between architects and users. Also changes of plan must of necessity be so because of in or outside conditions. So, user's participation has its meaning that they take part in each step and portion of process faithfully on whole architectural processes. In this case, tenants of single houses were decided and they already buy building site and lay out rules jointly. With this circumstance I've researched a kind of test the reflection on various desires and its acceptance in each steps through completion of a construction work, which is based on their participation.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the present status of life style and housing demands of residents in Yoing-in and Kwang-Ju in Kyung-Ki province, Korea. Field study methods were carried out practically using participant observation method and open-ended interview method, and the data were gotten by sketch, recording, photograph and memo. As a result, the followings were proposed. First, it was necessary to hide or reduce of the neighborhood's noise or direct view because those people thought the invasion of the privacy problem was very severe. The master planning of the complex method could be an alternative plan for this kind of problems. Second, it was needed to be the planning that could follow up the out-door friendly situations. To achieve this, the in between living space are needed that connected the outside and inside of the house. Third, the planning of the housing space should flexible for each participant's needs of the future. To achieve this, each unit in the suburban housing complexes should be fixed to the each character of the people's various needs.
