Reserved force's training(RFT) is undoubtedly the critical component to increase the national capability in case of emergency. It is because RFT plays an important role in maintaining the peace for the Korean peninsula as the key deterrence force power for more than 40 years. Considering the reserved force reform linked with the goal and the plan of Korean Defense Reform 2020', we can expect the utility of the reserved force as the potential combat power to make national defense resources more efficient and useful. In that sense, this study suggests some solutions to promote the reserved force's competency to demonstrate the ROK Armed Force's combat power as the equivalent partner with the active force as well as the future deterrence power. This study also analyzes the present training system including law and regulation, identifies some implications through the literature review, and designs the future ROK reserved force's training system by extracting new variables forecasting the future environment for national defense. In addition, this study includes its concerned systems generally without limiting the scope into the reserved force. Therefore we try to seek to prepare for mobilization readiness and to promote regional hometown defense capability in order to cope with the enemy's threat in case of emergency.

This paper have examined how industrial restructuring had been undertaken in response to economic crises in both Stuttgart, the hometown of the German automaker Daimler-Benz and Turin, that of the Italian automaker Fiat, in terms of changes in regional governances. Based upon this comparison, their micro dynamics have been examined that the transformation of automotive production systems from vertical integration to vertical disintegration had produced different regional development paths. It is argued that the recent transformation of auto production systems does not lead to a global convergence, but it reveals a local divergence based upon its locally embedded heritages, which is closely related to regional governances among the economic agents in question.

It will be a real good news for the people who were lost their hometown by the construction of a large dam to be restored to the former state. Focused on Cheung-Pyung around where most part were flooded by the Chungju large Dam founded in early 1980s, we used Remote Sensing Technique in this study in order to restore topographical features before the flood with 3 dimensional effects. We gathered comparatively good satellite photos and remotely sensed digital images, then we made a new color image from these and the topographical map which had been made before the flood. This task was putting together two kinds of different timed images. And then, we generated DEM including the outskirts of that area as harmonizing current contour lines with the map. That could be a perfect 3D image of Cheung-Pyung around before when it had been flood by making perspective images from all directions, north, south, east and west, for showing there in three dimensions. Also, flying simulation we made for close visiting can bring us to experience their real space at that time.

The objective of the study is to create color plan for company D based on color images of the Bloomsbury Group paintings, which is an art institute based in Bloomsbury, London, a hometown of the company, to renew the traditional brand image of the company by blending fashion and art. This study analyzed 'D's previous F/W Color planning from 2003 to 2007 through NCS to understand characteristics of company D's color planning. It considered company D's color renewal concept by looking into Bloomsbury Group's backgrounds and pieces. Based on 2008-2009 F/W color trend and the analysis result, the study suggests a color plan with reference to a case study of the company D, for which I work as a colorist. The color renewal of the company D for 2008-2009 F/W season was categorized into theme I. Bloomsbury and theme II. Charleston for planning. The following table summarizes the result of 2008-2009 F/W season color plan with focus on development of new check and print patterns. The significance of the study can be found in that it advanced beyond the color planning stage to be applied to the actual renewal. Through a renewal of an existing brand, a fashion brand can be revitalized to have distinguished competitiveness.

Kim Whan-ki is an unusual instance in Korean modern artists, who payed attention to emotional and expressive effects of colors. The color of Whan-ki's paintings have been recognized as linked with 'blue' in spite that he used colors within the category of 'Colors of Five Directions(五方色)', which are traditional oriental colors composed of red, lue, yellow, white, green and black. Kim Whan-ki unearthed upon similarity of Five Directions Colors to the three(five) primary colors which modern abstract painter like Mondrian layed down. Whan-ki switched the five directions colors to modern ones. Kim Whan-ki's dot painting in which pure and watery color is sucked in ground is modernistic adaptation from ink painting. He packs a dot with sky and earth, moon and stars, forest and tree, birds and flowers, friends at his hometown, wind, sound and so on. Putting tens of thousands of these shapes and colors into a dot is modernistic version from ink painting. In that point there is a possibility to say that 'dark blue' of the dot painting is 'Hyun-saec(玄色)'. Eventually we can make sure that Kim Whan-ki's view of Art originated in oriental philosophy and beauty.

It is needless to say that America's indiscriminate artillery and chemical attacks have worsened the conditions of Vietnam's tropical rain forests, causing war-torn combat troops and civilians to suffer more from the participation and aftermath of the Vietnam war. Around two decades after the Vietnam War, American and Vietnamese writers dealing with the destruction of the human and nature of the Vietnam War and the following traumatic experience commonly report the horrors of inhumane warfare, but some differences among them appear in the reception of the ecocide consciousness. For American writers who had been involuntarily involved or who had stayed in the back area as interpreters and counter-intelligence force, the Vietnam War was often a kind of exotic "addicted adventure" which their American hometown could not provide. But apart from overcoming postwar post-traumatic stress by writing of healing which was shared with American war writers, Vietnamese writers have been able to overcome the scars of war as the communal memorial, which Jonathan Shay emphasized as the necessary comforting ritual by community members showing the sign of honor and care. On the other hand, American war writers were on the side of "separate peace," as Jeong stressed, and the Vietnam War to them was more racist like the case of "body count." Nevertheless, it is fortunate that the hideous experience of war could turn them all into the creativity pool, just as the 5,000 square mile of bomb creators have been used as the postwar fish ponds.

In the current study, the effects of living-alone older adults' social participation on their depressive symptoms were assessed. Data of 924 older adults from the Aging Research Panel Survey were analyzed. The results show that the effects of older adults' social participation on depressive symptoms vary depending on the types of social participation and gender. Men attending school or hometown alumni meetings and clan gatherings showed fewer depressive symptoms; women participating in informal social gatherings or organizations for leisure, culture, and sports had fewer depressive symptoms. The results suggest that living-alone older adults' gender and dimensions of social participation should be considered when designing programs and services to reduce their depressive symptoms.

In this paper, the focus was on the review of Ming General Nan Fangwei's activities during the Choson period and existing relevant historical artifacts & literacy works. Nan Fangwei's hometown was Jiangxi(江西) Changjiang(昌江; Jingdezhen景德鎭). Unfortunately, it has not been known where his descendants migrated later. During Jingdezhen Riot(景德鎭民亂), he went to serve as the head of the grass roots. After surrendering, he became a general in the Ming military base. During Jeongyujae War(丁酉再亂), he entered Chosun as a Youji general(遊擊) and participated in dozens of large and small battles. However, the defeat of Jungro-gun (中路軍) led him to a feud with the Ming's military authorities and to return him, which gave him a hard time to be forcibly dislodged to a remote region. Nan Fangwei established Namwon Guanwang Shrine(南原 關王廟). Since then, it has been preserved in Namwon Wangjeong-dong(王亭洞) through several reconstruction and reconstruction works. In addition, he took good care of people by strictly cracking down on their subordinates with high integrity and virtuous deeds at the military base. Being deeply touched by his morality and virtue, the people of Gongju(公州) established 'Youji general Nan Fangwei Jongdeokbi(〈遊擊將藍公種德碑〉)'. In addition, when he had his leisure time, he collected Korean Chinese poems from various figures and edited and published 'Chosun Poetry Collection(《朝鮮詩選全集》)', which he played a catalyst to promote high-quality Korean poems to Chinese literacy community.

Jogyeongmyo Shrine is the Sijomyo Shrine of the Joseon royal family. It is a representative building that symbolizes Jeonju, the hometown of the Joseon royal family. This study comprehensively analyzes a variety of literature, old maps, and figures, and it investigates the meaning of Jogyeongmyo Shrine as an architectural example as well as its architectural characteristics. The Jogyeongmyo Shrine was built to symbolically demonstrate the superior virtue of the royal ancestors compared to the ancestors of the gentry. King Yeongjo built Jogyeongmyo Shrine, which he considered his greatest achievement, to raise the status of the royal family and exact loyalty from the vassals. Jogyeongmyo Shrine is a unique example of an ceremonial architecture that cannot be observed in China or the previous Korean dynasties. In addition, its architecture looks different from that of ordinary shrines because both Confucian ceremonies and the function of each building were taken into consideration during construction. Although Jogyeongmyo Shrine was preserved without significant changes until the late Joseon dynasty, major modifications were made in all areas except the main shrine area during the Japanese colonial era.

Pierre breaks the rules of convention and acquires the 'potential not to do.' To transform the traditional hero into the new potential subject, Pierre moves from his hometown, Saddle Meadows, New York City to the dungeon of the city prison and creates three different relationships that symbolize what ideology and principles repress his mind and behavior and how he handles them. Firstly, in Saddle Meadows, Pierre has a narcissistic relationship with his mother, Mary, who teaches him the principles of American manhood and forces him to be docile: he has to obey Mary's order that a man should be a gentleman. Therefore, since he does not know his potential, he does not create his own work and is involved in plagiarism. Secondly, in New York City, Pierre creates an associated relationship with Isabel, his half-sister, who represents an ambiguous and mysterious character and has the 'potential not to do' that leads Pierre to destroys the beliefs of American manhood and performs the potential to do. Consequently, Pierre puts himself in an extreme situation and is absolutely liberated from the influence of his dead father, who unconsciously controls Pierre's behavior and thoughts. Thus, he makes a dissociated relationship with his father. In the dungeon, he physically dies, but symbolically metamorphoses into Isabel, so that he blurs the differences between Isabel and himself. Furthermore, he never stays in his own way: in this on-going process, Pierre cannot determine which is good or bad, legitimate or illegitimate and life or death.
