  • Lean 6 sigma has recently been used to describe a management system which combines lean management and 6 sigma. The marriage between Lean manufacturing and 6 sigma has proven to be a powerful tool for cutting waste and improving the organization operations. Time and quality are the most important metrics in improving any company's production and profit performance. lean 6 sigma is a management innovation for improving production efficiency, process quality, cost reduction, investment efficiency and customer's satisfaction. in this paper, Advanced cell line is builded the home appliance goods of the LCD TV final assembly line of domestic company line, training the multi-skilled man and controlling the production information system based on Lean 6 sigma.

마이크로웨이브와 열전매체유를 이용한 슬러지 건조방법 (Sludge Drying Method Using Microwave Drying Device and Heat Transfer Medium Oil)

  • This research is a basic researching process for producing solid fuel that mixing paper sludge and Heat Transfer Medium Oil. Under the presence of Heat Transfer Medium Oil, paper sludge is heated and dried with home appliance microwave for comparing drying efficiency and energy efficiency of different types of drying method. As a result, Heat Transfer Medium Oil and paper mixing case of drying method, OMD, is the most efficient way to shorten the time for evaporating moisture in the paper sludge. In addition, heat transfer effect and density is increased with adding Heat Transfer Medium Oil by microwave. Future more, OMD's energy cost for evaporating whole moisture is 78% cheaper than MD. Also, OMD process shows the best energy efficiency with comparing other process. Evaporation rate of paper sludge evaporation process with microwave is 11.66% increased by adding Heat Transfer Medium Oil 150g. Preheating Heat Transfer Medium Oil or improving different ways injecting Heat Transfer Medium Oil is a good way to increase a rate of initiative moisture evaporation process.

  • 지능형 서비스를 제공하는 환경에서 상황을 인식하기 위하여 임베디드 시스템이 갖는 제한적인 리소스와 컴퓨팅 파워 환경에 적합한 상태 전이 기반 상황 표현 모델을 제안하고, 이를 인식하는 상황 인식기와 제어 신호를 발생시키는 동작 발생기를 결합한 임베디드 시스템에 탑재하기에 적합한 상황-동작 변환기(SAC)를 설계하였다. 또한 ARM 프로세서 기반의 임베디드 보드에 설계된 상황-동작 변환기를 응용한 상황 관리기를 구현하여 이를 스마트 스케줄러 서비스에 활용하였다.

  • The Toyota production system (TPS) developed by Toyota corporation is a management principle and production model to improve values added through elimination of waste. Since the oil shock in 1970s, the TPS has drawn the worldwide attentions as a main factor of competitiveness of Japanese manufacturing system and has been studied and implemented in many countries regardless of size and types of industry. For the correspondence to various customer's requirement, it is required to establish on time delivery procedure and to shorten lead time. Therefore it intended to establish TPS which is adopted to 7 losses reduction and JIT(Just in Time). In this paper, the automatic production line for color TV manufacturing by TPS was developed and proved to push up two times of productivity, to reduce the 25 workers at a time, and to widen the flexibility of manufacturing from 14" to 25" TV.

Development of Somaloy Components for a BLDC Motor in a Scroll Compressor Application

  • Electric scroll-compressor drives are commonly used for e.g. home appliance cooling units. The recent development of hybrid cars with internal combustion engine in combination with electrical propulsion requires new solutions to be able to cool the passenger compartment of cars at stand-still. Both application areas demand efficient motor drives to reach good economy and efficient use of limited battery power as well as competitive volume/weight for a given output. The BLDC motor is a controllable and efficient solution. A major part of the motor is the soft-magnetic core. The powder based $Somaloy^{(R)}$ material shows high resistivity and induction as the result of engineered iron particles with in-organic coating. The unique features of compacted $Somaloy^{(R)}$ components can be utilized to enhance the shape and total volume of the BLDC motor with at least maintained efficiency compared to the use of traditional laminated steel sheet cores. A careful design of the $Somaloy^{(R)}$ components can also simplify assembly and positively influence the coil configuration. This study shows a comparison between a typical laminated BLDC motor and a redesigned, $Somaloy^{(R)}$ based version adapted for a scroll-compressor application.

  • In the information society, individual, enterprise and nation must be equipped with environmment and competence with which they can acquire useful information anytime and anywhere to process and utilize it in required form. Therefore, this study intends to investigate how digital TV, refrigerator and computer are laid out in the residential space in terms of life space, analyze the preference of residents an d forecast the preferred functions of the products to be introduced in the future. To build frame for making questionnaire tool of this survey, 3 households of the first constructor among the top-ranked constructors in the first half of 2004 were chose and in-depth interview was made from April 12 to April 17. On the basis of result of preliminary survey obtained by this process, the questionnaire was revised and supplemented. Targeting those living at the apartment house in Seoul and constructors ranked in top-four in the order of construction of the first half of 2004, I selected 3 households for each group in the range of 30$^{\sim}$40 pyung. Twelve cases were surveyed from April 19, 2004 to June 5, 2004. First, TV will continue playing the role of central entertainment mustering family at one place rather than separating them to each room. Second, in the case of refrigerator, the function is being subdivided, making 2 types, refrigerator and kimchi refrigerator indispensable, which was in just unit in the past Third, while computer was usually placed in the individual bedroom,

에지 방향성 히스토그램과 주성분 분석을 이용한 손 형상 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hand Shape Recognition using Edge Orientation Histogram and PCA)

  • 본 논문에서는 별도의 센서를 부착하지 않고 영상만을 이용하여 실시간으로 손 형상을 인식하는 알고리즘에 대해 기술한다. 손은 형상이 매우 복잡하기 때문에 2차원 형상의 불변량에 해당하는 에지의 방향성 히스토그램을 이용하여 인식을 행한다. 이 방법은 복잡한 배경에서 피부색을 지닌 손 영역이 정확히 추출되며 손 형상을 인식하는데 있어서 수행속도가 빠르고 조명변화에 덜 민감하기 때문에 실시간 손 형상 인식에 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 손의 형상에서 방향이 틀어지는 경우에도 인식을 가능하게 하기위해 주성분 분석법을 사용하여 인식오차를 줄이는 방법을 기술한다. 이 방법을 사용함으로써 손 영상이 3차원적으로 회전에 의해 변하는 경우도 인식가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 가정용 가전제품이나 게임을 제어하는 실시간 휴먼 인터페이스 제작에 사용 할 수 있다.

  • As time goes by, ultrasonic wave is getting important and new technology, which is adapted to ultrasonic wave is used to industry such as home appliance, automobile, and high-tech industry. Especially, ultrasonic wave is used an alarm device whether there are things at the rear of I. It's do important device in automobile system because it can prevent car-accident from inattention of the driver. Actually, there has already been lots of the alarm device. But it's expensive and so difficult to set the device. So almost driver don't set device at their automobile. We focus on these problems. We want to make cheap md easy setting device. Ultrasonic wave sensor emits Ultrasonic-signal at outgoing part and receive part accept the signal. Sensor analyzes the signal and Distance is displayed on LCD of device. The device makes alarm if distance is near from something of rear. The device makes break-system operate to prevent drivers from crashing if distance is so near. This device is portable. So normal deriver can set it easily.

  • With the development of digital technology and the advent of the concept of well-being, kitchen will be worked as the center of housing and turn into multi-functional space. So a research is requested to consider the users' needs for kitchen based on their life characteristics. The purpose of this study is to find out housing lifestyles, and to search and analyze users' needs for kitchen planning according to their lifestyles. And then plans for kitchen design are suggested. The findings are as follows. (1) Housing lifestyles of users living in apartment are categorized into the type of network and trial & development, pursing the new environment and technology, the type of high quality and convenience, seeking the way to make housework easy and comfortable, the type of housework oriented and the type of unspecification. (2) The type of network and trial & development requests home automation, confrontation layout of counter-top, the type of high quality and convenience requests enlargement of kitchen space, the newest appliance and kitchen island, the type of housework oriented requests the efficiency of space utilization with a counter-top style table, and the type of unspecification asks space for study and office work. All of the types have needs for water use space, larger storing space and a Kimchi refrigerator.

  • This paper is managing about problem and EMI by electromagnetic waves occurrence of electrical appliances and harmfulness of EMS and standard. Specially, because this paper certifies a mouse and electromagnetic waves interception effect of electricity market place which possess electromagnetic waves interception facility, there is effect that contribute in health life that do to secure safe going to sleep condition from electromagnetic waves of electricity market place that is security of computer working environment of safe state through electromagnetic waves interception and essential electric appliance of home life.
