The purpose of this study was that to estimate the microbial and sensory quality by the method and time of holding in the step of holding of Cow's Knee Broth, Stir-Fry Pork and Cooked Cuttlefish that were provide at the industry foodservice establishment, then to suggest safer feeding by the reasonable holding method. The results are as follows: Cow's Knee Broth: holding at room temperature was shown that the number of mi- crobiology by passage of the holding time was higer than the case of holding at steam table, but it was lower after reheating it. As a result of sensory test, it was exellent to holding at steam table and to reheat after holding room temperature within four hours and six hours each. Stir-Fry Pork: as a result of microbial analysis, in the case of holding at the steam table microbes increased safer two hours, but after four and six hours they little reduced. In the case of holding at room temperature the number of microbes increased according to the passage of time. As a result of sensory analysis, its taste of room temperature holding was fine until four and six hours each. Cooked Cuttlefish: as a microbial analysis, it was shown that the amount of total plate counts of room temperature holding ten times as high as the latter after six hours. As the result of sensory analysis, the cold holding was better until six hours and the room temperature holding was fine just until two hours. As a result of food poisoning bacteria, it was negative in every test in sample against Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus.

This paper presents an automatic setup planning system for turning operation of symmetric rotational parts. The proposed setup planning system determines workpiece holding method, number of setup, clamping surface, and workpiece holding device by using design data, part description database and part feature recognition information. The workpiece holding method is based on functional name and length/diameter ratio of the given part, and number of setup is determined by part profile type and its technological constraints. Clamping surface and workpiece holding device are determined by using information about the results of workpiece holding method and number of setup, and capacity of workpiece holding devices. A case study is performed to show the performance of the proposed system.
The Fenton reaction, which evaluates the electrochemical durability of polymer membranes of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEMFC), and the degradation of polymer membranes by OCV holding method are compared. The Fenton reaction is a method that can evaluate the chemical durability of the polymer membrane at outside the cell in a shorter time than the OCV Holding method. The Fenton reaction was carried out at 30% hydrogen peroxide, 10 ppm iron, and $80^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours. OCV Holding was driven at $90^{\circ}C$, 30% relative humidity and OCV for 168 hours. The Fenton reaction caused a lot of degradation inside the polymer membrane. On the other hand, in OCV Holding, the membrane thickness was thinned by the entire surface and internal degradation. The fluorine emission rate was more than 10 times higher than that of OCV Holding due to the Fenton reaction. The hydrogen permeation rate increased about 30% at 24 hours of Fenton reaction. At OCV Holding, hydrogen permeability decreased after 24 hours and then increased. As a whole, there was a difference in a membranes deteriorated by Fenton reaction and OCV Holding.
This study was performed to predict the multiplication growth patterns of Salmonella typhimurium according to the holding methods and times in cooked foods served at foodservice institutions. When simmered pork in soy sauce and ham and cucumber salad were inoculated with S. typhimurium (7.00 logCFU/g) and tested according to holding methods and times, room temperature holding showed a continuous increase in S. typhimurium count as time passed, whereas 80$^{\circ}C$ heating table sharply reduced the count to 4.00 (logCFU/g) after 2hrs of holding and to zero after 6hrs, which suggested that all S. typhimurium were destroyed. However, 5$^{\circ}C$ refrigerator holding showed a count increase, although it wasis still lower than that at room temperature and at 10$^{\circ}C$ cold table holding, which suggested that S. typhimurium is comparatively resistive to low temperature.
The non-explosive holding and release mechanism is used to prevent damage to the mission component caused by explosives when the deployment structure for Cube Satellites is separated. However, among the several types available, the non-explosive holding and release mechanism system using nylon wires depend on the nylon wire knot method and tightening power of the worker. Therefore, in this study, we conducted experiments with the operation of a new holding and release mechanism system by conceptualizing the Boa System Dial, which can provide a constant tightening force regardless of worker proficiency and deploying a imitational solar panel. In this study, the process of binding and unbinding with constant tension was recorded while applying the novel non-explosive holding and release mechanism using the Boa System Dial proposed. In addition, required advances are indicated for the application of the proposed system to actual Cube Satellites.

In drawing sheet metal, the blank holding force is applied to prevent wrinkling of the product and to add a tensile stress to the material for the plastic deformation. Applying an inappropriate blank holding force can cause wrinkling or fracture. Therefore, it is important to determine the appropriate blank holding force. Recent developments of the servo cushion open up the possibility to reduce the possibility of fracture and wrinkling by controlling the blank holding force along the stroke. In this study, a method is presented to find the optimal variable blank holding force curve, which uses statistical analysis with consideration of the nonlinear deformation path. The optimal blank holding force curve was numerically and experimentally applied to door inner parts. Consequently, it was shown that the application of the variable blank holding force curve to door inner parts could effectively reduce the possibility of fracture and wrinkling.
This study analyzed visitors' behaviors in the viewpoint of Attraction Power and Holding Power of exhibits on the basis of exhibition layout of real science museums. Through the analysis, the study grasped efficiency of analysis index and exhibition environment elements which might have an effect on planning the exhibition space of a large-scale museum and producing detailed ranges of exhibition. The main indicators used are: 1. Attraction Power: it indicates the relative incidence of people who have stopped in front of an object/exhibit during the exhibition tour. It is calculated by dividing the number of people who stop by the total number of people who have visited the museum or gallery. 2. Holding Power: it measures the average time spent in front of an information/communication element. It is calculated by dividing the average time of stay by the time "necessary" to read an element. As a result of analyzing the exhibition areas of National Science Museum (Daejeon) and National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation(Tokyo), the Holding Power was found to be relatively lower than the Attracting Power. This means that 3.5 out of 10 visitors stop in front of the exhibit in 6 exhibition areas, and among these, only 1/10 is used when compared to the user required time of the exhibits. In other words, like the method of deriving an analysis index, the stage of viewing can be categorized as Attracting Power and Holding Power, and because the stage from Attracting Power to the stage of Holding Power are strongly linked, it shows that it is not easy to display a meaningful result. Except, the general distribution of Attracting Power was shown to be high from the entrance area of the exhibition hall based on the standard of viewing sequence. Also, the Holding Power became sequentially lower according to the sequence of exhibition viewing and displayed a meaningful interrelationship with the distribution ratio of island exhibits. In the case of island exhibition method, it is less influenced by the movement flow of visitors when compared to the wall type method of exhibition and can be understood as an exhibition method that provides spatial chances enabling stopping and viewing.
A variable blank holding force method is proposed to improve deep drawing characteristics of sheet materials. In this method, the blank holding force (BHF) is controlled throughout a drawing process so that the punch load does not exceed a critical value, which is slightly less than the conventional process with the conforming process with the variable BHF is more flexible than the conventional process with the constant BHF and it could be used for improving the product's quality and drawability. In this paper we suggest a method controlling the BHF as a function of punch travel during the forming process. The optimization BHF curves are determined theoretically and experimentally. It is concluded that for the case of optimum BHF control methods the drawn cup height and the drawing formability achieved by this method are increased than those for constant BHF method. Also, as comparing the wall thickness distribution of the cup drawn by the constant BHF and the optimum BHF control, the BHF control reduce the wall thickness variation of the drawn cup at the cup wall and make the cup thickness distribution more uniformly than the constant BHF.
Purpose: This study was to examine the effects of hand massage and hand holding as nursing interventions on the anxiety in patients with local infiltration anesthesia. Method: The design of this study was a nonequivalent, control group, non- synchronized design. The subjects of this study consisted of 15 patients for the hand massage group, 15 patients for the hand holding group and 17 patients for the control group awaiting surgery in the operation room of a general hospitalin Daegu. As an experimental treatment, hand massage was carried out by the Hand Massage Protocol developed by Snyder(1995) and interpreted by Cho(1998) and hand holding developed by Cho(1998). The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN, T-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's a, and the Scheffe test. Results: The hand massage group and hand holding group were more effective than the control group in reducing anxiety, VAS score, systolic blood pressure and pulse rate. Conclusion: Hand massage and hand holding are effective nursing interventions that alleviates the psychological and physiological anxiety of patients with local infiltration anesthesia. In particular, the simple contact of hand holding is regarded as an effective and easily accessible nursing intervention in the operating room.

The technology of Semi-Solid Forging (SSF) has been actively developed to fabricate near-net-shape products using light and hardly formable materials. Generally, the SSF process is composed of slug heating, forming, compression -holding and ejecting step. After forming step in SSF, the slug is compressed during a certain holding time in order to be completely filled in the die cavity and be accelerated in solidification rate. The compression holding time that can affect microstructural characteristics and shape of products is important to make decision, where it is necessary to find overall heat transfer coefficient properly which has large effect on heat transfer between slug and die. This paper presents the procedure to predict compression holding time of obtaining the final shaped part with information of temperature and solid fraction for a cylindrical slug at compression holding step in closed-die compression process using heat transfer analysis considering latent heat by means of finite element method. The influence of the predicted compression holding time on microstructural characteristics of products is finally investigated by experiment.
