Writer Hong Myung-hee, author of the novel Im Kkeok Jeong, provided an excellent description of the costume customs of the Chosun era, based on an understanding of various historical texts and literature by practical science proponents, and experience gained from the Hong household of Pungsan, a noble family of high standing during the Chosun dynasty. However, there is a tendency towards descriptions of late Chosun era customs, rather than 16th century customs, with the intent of heightening the image of what most people felt to represent Chosun and its prestige, thereby generating greater reader sympathy. Therefore, information on the costume customs of the novel 1m Kkeok Jeong is analyzed and re-formed to fit with the temporal setting of the 16th century. By providing data to aid visual understanding and re-creation, the intent is to accept it as material for the rumination of our ancestors and their lifestyles in the 16th century. The novel provides a good description of Chosun economic customs, in which cotton and hemp were used not only as fabric for clothes, but also as currency. The trade value of cotton drapery or hemp drapery with dimensions of 5 strand density at a length of 35 ja per roll was designated as 5 mal (about 90 liters) of rice by national law, but the actual value varied depending on the production of rice. Also, it is possible to confirm the existence of sang po with dimensions of 3 strand density at a length of 30 ja per roll, or 2 strand density seochongdae cotton, which was used only as currency due to the rough quality. Characteristics of the Chosun dynasty, a class-based society, are described through distinctions of attire. The writer's intent regarding the symbolic nature of attire reflecting social position, a characteristic of the entire Chosun period, is analyzed with the presentation of visual material.

Painting and writing are exceedingly different in the way they are visually express. However, if one were to trace the roots of both painting and writing, one would discover the two have the same origins. At one time, both painting and writing fulfilled the function portraying mutual or reciprocal messages to the masses. On the other hand, after the time of medieval manuscript and typography, they were separated completely into image and text. Today, the images are interpreted into the text. Meanwhile, the text better communicates its ideas to the masses through additional support of the simultaneous image. The joint use of the shaping of mutual exchanges between literature and visual art is being enlivened between scholars through their tendency to converse or communicate through the media. Moreover, the visual configuration and characters that strike into the new media are one of the various uses and the significantly important methods of deliberative communication that are necessary for hypertext functioning. In the following text, I will expande and develope the historical communication scheme and the process of modification of painting and writing, lead the origination of modern new-pictograph.
This is a fundamental study for bibliometric analysis investigating the general, research, copyright activities and cited literature related to the field of Oriental Medicine, The data used for this study included theses published by the Journal of Korean Oriental Medicine Society over a period of nine years, from 1990 to 1998, We investigated the productivity of national authors, distribution of cited literature and subject analysis about Oriental Medicine and its authors quantitatively, So we were able to reach several conclusions: 1. The rule of Lotka is applied considerably to analyze the productivity of authors in the field of Oriental Medicine, When it comes to the analysis of national authors it was found that most authors in this field of study published 2 to 10 volumes, likewise other studies. And the rate of co-authorships was high, because most surveys are clinical. 2. When it comes to distribution of cited literatures, independent volumes were cited more than journals. This represents that the citing style of Oriental Medicine has a tendency to follow the methodology of historical research. 3. Scholars in the field of Oriental Medicine mainly tend to cite self-subjects among cited literatures. After analysing self-subjects in this field, the result is that the order of frequency used as cited literatures is as follows: Internal Medicine, Herbology and Oriental Prescription, Acupuncture & Moxibustion. Acupuncture point, and subjects with the circulatory system diseases were mainly cited as far as subordinary subjects of Internal Medicine.
Parody, which is the device of humorous Postmodernism artists, has been from the comic immitation with the popular and well-known object. It's expressive techniques are very various such as similarity, transformation, exaggeration, irony, parados, inversion etc. and also it can be used another techniques of designer's will and ability based. Parody's effect consists of satire, mockery, scorn, ridicule, unexpectedness, defamiliarize, playfulness, wit, respect, esteem, wonder and so on of the original. So parody has a critical distance from the original, whichis the object of immitation. Ultimately, the expression of parody can be as extensive as from an ironic and funny inversion still containing the respect for the original to a contemptuous mockery. Nowadays Parodists have a tendency to use parody actively in order to criticize the real world or to meet the past with ironic recontextualize. And parody include the specific characters of postmodern design. So parody is widely known as a effective forms of expression in now-a-days our environment surrounded with the postmodern esthetics, and it's request will be increased rapidly. As a part of art, parody is apt to use widely in Fashion too. And from a historical standpoint it is to reconstitute the past with a critical eye and finally to become a new technique to create the new Fashion style with an intention of extension of design area.
This study evaluates the performance of Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model in simulating temperature over the COordinated Regional climate Downscaling EXperiment-East Asia (CORDEX-EA) Phase 2 domain for the reference period (1981~2005), and assesses the changes in temperature and its extremes in the mid-21st century (2026~2050) under global warming based on Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) scenarios. MPI-ESM-LR forced by two RCP scenarios (RCP2.6 and RCP8.5) is used as initial and lateral boundary conditions. Overall, WRF can capture the observed features of temperature distribution reflecting local topographic characteristic, despite some disagreement between the observed and simulated patterns. Basically, WRF shows a systematic cold bias in daily mean, minimum and maximum temperature over the entire domain. According to the future projections, summer and winter mean temperatures over East Asia will significantly increase in the mid-21st century. The mean temperature rise is expected to be greater in winter than in summer. In accordance with these results, summer (winter) is projected to begin earlier (later) in the future compared to the historical period. Furthermore, a rise in extreme temperatures shows a tendency to be greater in the future. The averages of daily minimum and maximum temperatures above 90 percentiles are likely to be intensified in the high-latitude, while hot days and hot nights tend to be more frequent in the low-latitude in the mid-21st century. Especially, East Asia would be suffered from strong increases in nocturnal temperature under future global warming.
The Joseon had made maps of Japan with information that gained during the exchanges with Japan on the basis of the polio of maintaining amicable relations. The elaborate map of Japan similar to Haenggido was in Honilgangniyokdaekukdojido(Map of integrated lands and regions of historical countries and capitals, made in 1402, and more accurate map of Japan was found in Haedongjegukgi(Chronicle of the countries of the Eastern Sea, compiled by Sinsukju in 1471. These products were due to openness of foreign exchanges in 15th century. After 16th century, understanding of Japan based on China-centric view was intensified, as the confucianism of Chu-tzu planted its roots deeply in Joseon society as the social doctrine. These tendency were reflected in the map-making, accordingly many kinds of maps of Japan in the atlas were meager in contents and distorted in shorelines. Apart these currents, as comings and goings of official envoy became brisk, elaborated maps of Japan were imported and copied in the Joseon dynasty. Consequently these maps helped the elites of Joseon to raise understanding of Japan.

What has been rapidly changed and developed is not only technology, but also language and culture, of which the diverse consensus has been speedily formed between generations and spread throughout all the social grades. Therefore, Neologisms need to be understood as part of the cultural history that is created at each period. We cannot keep neologisms, initially formed among the youths, from spreading all over the generations, not just for their enjoyment, convenience, and familiarity, but more for the fact that they are impossible to be replaced in use. Another reason is that a community is created according to language. The youths would like to make distance from the existing community by building an invisible wall of new language. This paper is intended to deal with neologisms, centered on visual pun. The characteristics of the Neologisms are the result of the tendency of the younger generation to avoid interference and to enjoy adding ingenuity to the existing order. That is why in all ages Neologisms are created, and although they differ in form, the principles of new word generation are old. We will also consider the historical characteristics of neologism in this paper.

Generally, Interior design understood as shapes, lines, spaces, tones, quality, and principal. And people research these with a study of formative approach. The six elements of above categories are basis of expansion for the various designs. In this study, the represented design language is extracted by the basic 6 stages and re-divided into classes. This study presented by the Kobayashi-scale image of the current trends in the assignment to examine the cultural, functional, sensory vocabulary, three elements were classified by the assignment about 2008~2009 international fair by trend and design direction for the image. If we look into the categorized format of the design, it reflects mixed culture with emotional approach and shows direction of design constantly. Especially, compared to the year 2008, the design of year 2009 has tendency as an emotional translator regarding the verbal expression. In other words, it becomes more concrete to express the design of emotions for human beings. In addition, design shows detail of its flow with outcomes of past leading trend which was re-created shape. On the other hand, undeveloped cultures such as folk, historical, and unique cultures attract design leaders as it is. This research would make good relationship between designers and customers regarding the newly started international trend of design. Hereby I research with the method to reclassify the image of vocabulary from the image scale extract. It remains as a task to resolve ambiguous, complex and neutral expression for better understanding and definite analysis method to the public.
We collected age determination cases which were done at Yonsei university dental hospital, department of oral medicine from 1976 to 1999 to analyze it's tendency among Koreans. We analyzed 435 clients cases which were stored by age estimation program from January 1993 to December 1999. The results are as follows: 1. There were no significant difference in the sexual distribution (male : 52.0%, female : 48.0%) and more than half percent (51%) were 20's and 30's. 2. Among the age determination clients, those who wanted to decrease their age (50.3%) and those who wanted to increase their age (49.7%) shows similar in number. And the former case were predominant in the female clients, but the latter case in the male clients. Also the clients below six years of age were predominant in the former case, but the clients more than sixty were predominant in the latter case. 3. The purposes of age correction showed different distribution for ages: job or employment for 20's and 30's, marriage for 20's, registration for school for below six, welfare and other social services for 50 and older. 4. Age was estimated by Nolla's growth stage for 12 and under, calcification of the second and third molar for 12~20, and for 20 and over, Takei's tooth abrasion model was used. 5. The alleged age was in accordance with the documents and other information given by clients, but in the 20.6% of the estimation cases, the alleged age was discarded. In the results of the analysis of age determination cases in Koreans, many of the cases resulted from our historical turbulence and social distinctiveness, causing an increase in the necessity for age correction in each age group. For more accurate determination for each age group, further studies with Koreans must be done continuously.
