$\textbullet$ An autonomous mobile robot was controlled through the Internet. $\textbullet$ For the direct control, the feedback data should be provided properly. $\textbullet$ Therefore, an efficient communication scheme should be defined. $\textbullet$ To overcome the transmission delay, the highly abstracted message format was used. $\textbullet$ As the feedback data, the real image sequences may suffer the transmission delay or loss of content. $\textbullet$ To resolve this, the feature information was used to construct the synthetic feedback information. $\textbullet$ By doing this, the operator could feel the hands-on control with an Internet-based robot.

This paper describes a numerical scheme for optimal control of a time-dependent linear system to a moving final state. Discretization of the corresponding differential equations gives rise to a linear algebraic system. Defining some binary variables, we approximate the original problem by a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) problem. Numerical examples show that the resulting method is highly efficient.

As a part of the configuration design expert system of machine tools, inference mechanisms are constructed in this paper. In addition to procedural inference, the method of multivariable inference is considered as an efficient approach to deal with the cases of highly coupled condition. We propose a generalized multi-variable inference procedure. The procedure is applied to the type selection module of the configuration design expert system of machine tools in order to demonstrate the efficiency and validity.

In this paper, a robust controller is proposed to control a robot manipulator which is governed by highly nonlinear dynamic equations. The controller is computationally efficient since it does not require the dynamic model or parameter values of a robot manipulator. It, however, requires uncertainty bounds which are derived by using properties of revolute joint robot dynamics. The stability of the robot with the controller is proved by Lyapunov theory. The results of computer simulations show that the robot system is stable, and has excellent trajectory tracking performance.

XML is fast emerging as the dominant standard to represent and exchange data in the Web. As the amount of data available in the Web has increased dramatically in recent years, the data resides in different forms ranging from semi-structured data to highly structured data in relational database. As semi-structured data will be represented by XML, XML will increase the ability of semi-structured data. In this paper, we propose an idea for extracting schema in XML document using DTD.

This paper presents the design of highly efficient one-chip CMOS DC/DC converter. The converter operates at the switching frequency of 1MHz for reducing the size of passive elements. And use the zero voltage switching(ZVS) for minimizing switching loss at high frequency. The simulation shows that the circuit can achieve a 95% efficiency while delivering a load of 1W at 2V output.

An efficient synthetic method for 11-deoxyanthracycline AB synthons is described. A verstile key intemediate vinyl bromide 3 was prepared from 5- methodxy-1-tetralone in three steps, and then was converted to the allylic alcohols 4 and 8 which, in tum, fumished highly fuctionalized AB synthons 7 and 12, respectively, via sequential epoxidation-reduction-protection processes.

Complying with highly demand of information through internet. the utility of computer and network is rapidly provided with to schools. This situation brings about many problems. For example, the stolen information through false identification(Hacking) is the most greatest concern. In this paper it tells that the efficient way of preservating computer use is by using operating system of Open Source, which is Linux system. Further more, it shows the system which was organized by IP-Tabling (offered service-Packet Filtering method from the Linux system) functions well as a security system.

The high Tc supeconductor of ceramic oxides type was studied for finding its application field. The results reportaed in this paper on the stability of the ceramic superconductors and the resistance to ripening in the BCO liquid phase at elevated temperature opens a processing window for engineering the microstructure of large superconductor at the nanoscale level. The results suggest further that the introduction of highly efficient artifical pinning center to bulk ceramics superconductor.
