  • The high voltage measuring systems used in the testing systems shall be required to maintain the traceability to the national or international standards by the IEC 60060-2. Also all testing laboratories should prepare the documents evaluating the measurement uncertainty of the tests. By the way, this paper introduces the principal of IEC about the maintenance of traceability and evaluation methode of uncertainty.

  • As microcomputers have become widespread and the high speed solenoid valves have been developed, digitally controlled hydraulic systems are used in many applications. This study deals with position control of hydraulic cylinder operated by two port 3-way high speed solenoid valve using a self-learning strategy. This was done by developing a control algorithm for the microcomputer which always automatically adjust the length of control pulse to the optimum value in accordance with the error regardless of changes in the operating condition and physical differences between components. Tests carried out in the laboratory indicate that a positional accuracy could be improved.

  • The purpose of this study is promote perfect of construction and progress of packing ability through comparison and analysis with quality, as placing ways and placing direction are changed. Kinds of concrete are general, high fluidity, and high performance concrete. Classified with concrete as placing ways - direct ways, sheath way - and placing directing - flange direction, web direction - is analyzed section and strength of hardened concrete. The results of this study is belows the more fluid of concrete, the more useful to top-down method.

  • Interfacing functional materials with electrical or biological systems is of prime importance in terms of expanding applicative fields and obtaining high performances of devices. Herein, I report the functionalization of graphenes through supramolecular assembly and their electrochemical applications into fuel cells, supercapacitors, and biosensor devices. The solution processable nanohybridization of graphenes by functional materials such as ionic liquids, polyelectrolytes, block copolymers, and biomaterials, described herein would pave the way to obtain high performances of flexible energy and biosensor devices as well as to overcome the existing technology barriers.

  • Sealing of lubricant-air mixture in the high performance machining center is one of most the important characteristics to carry out enhanced lubrication. High speed spindle requires non-contact type of sealing mechanism. Evaluating an optimum seal design to minimize leakage is concerned in the aspect of flow control. Effect of geometry and leakage path are evaluated according to variation of sealing geometry. Velocity, pressure, turbulence intensity of profile is calculated to find more efficient geometry and variables. This offers a methodological way of enhancement seal design for high speed spindle. The working fluid is regarded as two phases that are mixed flow of oil phase and air phase. It is more reasonable to simulate an oil jet or oil mist type high speed spindle lubrication. Turbulence and compressible flow model are used to evaluate a flow characteristic. This paper considers a design effect of sealing capability of non- contact type seals for high speed spindle and analyzes leakage characteristics to minimize a leakage 7 on the same sealing area.

  • Gall bladder cancer is generally fatal. The high morbidity and mortality due to gall bladder cancer exerts a significant impact on efforts towards cancer control in high risk populations of the World and a rationale program for control of gall bladder cancer mortality has remained as an unmet need in these populations. Currently there are no effective strategies for controlling gall bladder cancer mortality. This mini review is to highlight the need and feasibility for secondary prevention of gall bladder cancer by screening in high risk populations. A way forward is to assess the role of secondary prevention of gall bladder cancers by conducting randomized-controlled screening trials in high risk populations.

  • Designing of similarity on high dimensional data was done. Similarity measure between high dimensional data was considered by analysing neighbor information with respect to data sets. Obtained result could be applied to big data, because big data has multiple characteristics compared to simple data set. Definitely, analysis of high dimensional data could be the pre-study of big data. High dimensional data analysis was also compared with the conventional similarity. Traditional similarity measure on overlapped data was illustrated, and application to non-overlapped data was carried out. Its usefulness was proved by way of mathematical proof, and verified by calculation of similarity for artificial data example.

Relationship between life satisfaction and oral health practice in high school students (고등학생의 삶의 만족도와 구강건강실천과의 연관성)

  • Objectives : The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between the life satisfaction of high school students and their oral health practice and to provide the right method of oral health maintenance. Methods : The subjects were 307 high school students in Chungcheongnam-do. A self-reported questionnaire was filled out from May 13 to 28, 2013. The questionnaire included life satisfaction and oral health practice. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0. Results : A frequent visit to dental clinic improved the quality of oral health in high school students by way of toothbrushing, use of dental hygiene devices, and diet control. Conclusions : It is very important to practice continuing oral health education in high school students by dental hygienists.

  • Today, use of high resolution satellite image with at least 1m resolution is expanding into many more areas including forest, river way, city, seashore and so forth for disaster prevention. Interest in this medium is increasing among the general public due to the roll-out to the private sector as Google earth, Virtual Earth and so forth. However, pre-processing process that revises the geometrical distortion that result at the time of photographing is required in order to use high resolution satellite image. The purpose of this research is to search the most accurate GCP(Ground Control Point) information acquisition method that is used for the revision of high resolution satellite image's geometrical distortion through automated processing. Through this, it is possible to contribute to increasing the level of accuracy at the time of high resolution satellite image revision and to secure promptness.
