봉착용 유리와 Mn-Zn 단결정 Ferrite와의 봉착특성에 관한 연구 (The sealing Characteristics of sealing glasses and Mn-Zn single crystal ferrite)

  • 본 연구는 computerdisk drive와 VTR head에 사용되어 지고 있는 ferrite head cores의 gap 형성에 적합한 유리의 봉착특성에 관하여 고찰하였다. 유리의 특성측정은 열팽창 계수, 미세경도, 내마모성을 측정하였으며 계면에서의 원소 농도분포는 WDS에 의해 관찰하였고 젖음성은 고온 현미경으로 측정하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. $PbO-B_2O_3$계 봉착용 유리에 있어서 PbO의 함량이 증가함에 따라 열팽창계수와 마모량이 증가하였으며 $B_2O_3$함량이 증가함에 따라서는 열팽창계수와 마모량이 감소하였다. 2. $PbO-B_2O_3$계 유리에 있어서 contact angle은 PbO함량에 주로 영향을 받는다. 3. 열팽창계수의 증가에 따라 봉착온도는 비례적으로 낮아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 4. Mn-Zn single crystal ferrite와 $PbO-B_2O_3$계 봉착용유리의 융착 계면에서의 확산은 ferrite성분이 glass측으로 소량확산이 이루어졌으며 봉착 열처리 시간에 따라서는 거의 영향을 받지 않았다.

열팽창계수차에 기인된 잔류응력을 이용한 세라믹 캠 팔로우어의 크라우닝 제어 (Control of Crowning Using Residual Stress induced by the Difference of Tehermal Expansion Between Ceramic and Carbon Steel in Ceramic Cam Follower)

  • 최근에 상용차용 디젤 엔진의 성능 향상을 목적으로 엔진 설계가 급격히 변화되면서 캠 팔로우어(cam follower)와 캠(cam) 사이에 작용하는 접동면 하중의 증가로 접동면에서의 마모가 중요한 문제가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 주절체 및 소결합금 캠 팔로우어에 비해 내마모성이 우수한 세라믹 캠 팔로우어를 개발하였다. 잔류 응력을 완화시켜주는 중간층을 사용하지 않고 질화규소($Si_3N_4$) 팁과 중탄소강을 활성납재를 사용하여 직접 접합후 냉각시키는 과정에서 두 모재의 열팽창계수차에 의한 크라우닝(crowning, R) 이 형성되도록 하였다. 접합에 사용한 중탄소강은 열팽창시 이력(hysteresis) 거동을 나타내었으며, $A_{c1}$ 변태점인 $723^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 접합할 경우 원하는 크라우닝이 형성되었다. 접합온도가 $723^{\circ}C$ 이상이 되면 크라우닝 (R) 값이 온도에 따라 지수함수적으로 증가하였으며 이는 중탄소강의 상변태에 의한 열팽창.수축의 이력 특성으로 설명되어질 수 있었다. 규격에 맞는 크라우닝이 형성되는 최적 접합 온도는 $700~720^{\circ}C$의 범위였다. 질화규소와 중탄소강의 직접 접합방법으로 접합과 동시에 크라우닝을 형성시키고 제어함으로써 난가공재인 세라믹을 곡면 가공하지 않고도 적당한 곡률을 갖는 저가의 세라믹 캠 팔로우어를 제조할 수 있었다.

유도초음파를 이용한 복수기 튜브지지판 영역에서의 결함검출기법 (A Technique for Defect Detection of Condenser Tube in Support Plate Region using Guided Wave)

  • General condensers consist of many tubes supported by tube sheets and support plates to prevent the deflection of the condenser tubes. When a fluid at high pressure and temperature runs over the tubes for the purpose of transferring heat from one medium to another, the tubes vibrate and their surface comes into contact with the support plates. This vibration causes damage to the tubes, such as cracks and wear. We propose an ultrasonic guided wave technique to detect the above problems in the support plate region. In the proposed method, the ultrasonic guided wave mode, L(0,1), is excited using an internal transducer probe from a single position at the end of the tube. In this paper, we present a preliminary experimental verification using a super stainless tube and show that the defects can be discriminated from the support signals in the support region.

결정계 PV 모듈에 대한 고장 메커니즘 검토 (A Review on the Failure Mechanism for Crystalline Silicon PV Module)

  • It is summarized that potential causes of performance degradations and failure mechanisms of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules installed in Middle East area. In addition, we also reviewed current PV module qualification test (IEC 61215) and the methods for detection of wear-out fault. The failure of PV modules in the extreme environmental conditions such as deserts is mainly due to high temperature, humidity, and dust storms. In particular, cementation phenomenon caused by combination of sand and moisture leads to rapid degradation in the performance of PV modules. In order to evaluate and guarantee the long term reliability of PV modules, specific qualification tests such as sand dust test, salt mist test and potential induce degradation test considering operating environment of PV module should be carried out.

소결 밸브시트의 미세조직 및 기계적 성질에 미치는 볼밀 분말 혼합비의 영향 (Effects of Mixing Ratio of the Milled Powder on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Sintered Valve Seats)

  • The recent trend of miniaturization and high performance of vehicle engines has put an urgent necessity for the development of valve seats which can operate under more severe conditions. In order to develope valve seat material that has the most excellent wear resistance at operating temperature of engine through improvement of the progress of work. the effects of mixing ratio of the milled powder on sintered and Cu-infiltrated properties of sintered valve seats have been studied. The resultant radial crushing strength and hardness of sintered specimens were gradually increased with increasement of volume of milled powders. It is because increasement of sintering density by increasing of surface diffusion. The hardness of Cu-infiltrated specimens became lower than that of the commercial powders as the increasement of volume of milled powders. It was due to the decrease of the amount of the martensite. By results of this research, It has been found that martensite is formed around of the Cu-infiltrated site and the decrease of the amount of the martensite is due to decrease of the amount of the Cu-infiltrated site by the decrease of gas channel.

자동화 수동변속기용 건식클러치의 속도기반 Kiss-Point 능동 보상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Speed-based Active Compensation of the Kiss-Point of Dry-type Clutch Equipped with Automated Manual Transmission)

  • Clutch torque control is the key to the ride comfort improvement of a vehicle equipped with AMT (automated manual transmission). For such control, the torque transfer starting point, known as the "kiss point," should be indicated or at least estimated to compensate for the clutch torque. The kiss point changes due to wear, high temperature, and fatigue; as such, it should be estimated while the vehicle is being driven. In this study, the method of kiss point active estimation for an AMT vehicle with a dry-type clutch was devised. The kiss point is learned while the engine is in an idle state and while the transmission is at a neutral gear position. It is determined when the input shaft of the transmission starts to rotate by slowly engaging the clutch. The noise of the shaft speed signal during the slow engagement process is filtered for accurate control. The kiss point estimation at various clutch engagement speeds was analyzed via a vehicle test.

국산 CTP 판재 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study of the Domestic CTP Plate Development)

  • Computer to plate technology(CTP) have become fully commercial. The current wide range of computer to plate system and plate makes many potential customers insecure. This process which began around 1995 has now been successfully completed, so that a wide variety of high performance systems is available. The computer to plate method of producing printing plates eliminates films from the production process, thus reducing costs and shortening production times. To discover the optimization formulation of sensitized materials we were changed formulation of resin and violet solution in thermal sensitizers. Also we were analyzed the CTP plate's surface and the result of coating and development at each sample. we were analyzed the effects of development condition as temperature and speed, the plate wear of printing test in C, M, Y, Bk ink. This paper aims to find out suitable ways that we can develop a domestic CTP plate.

발전용 밸브 유체누설 측정 데이터의 통계적 평가 및 누설량 예측 연구 (Study on Statistical Analysis of Measured Fluid Leakage Data and Estimation of the Leakage Rate for Power Plant Valve)

  • High temperature and pressure valves in power plant have been used for fluid flowing and leakage occurred owing to valve internal damage such as disc wear, crack and inserting of foreign objects etc. in these valves. Recently, multi-measuring technique applied both ultrasonic and acoustic method have been used for evaluation of valve internal leakage in order to raise measurement reliability. Therefore, we have performed various leakage tests using ultrasonic and acoustic measuring system and acquired leakage data for the various leakage conditions. In this study, we developed the estimation method of regression model through leakage data, and expectation method for valve opening ratio, which is directly proportion to leakage rate, using the established estimation model from the measured data, valve size and fluid pressure so as to enhance data reliability. As a result of this study, it was founded that expectation method of leakage rate by statistical analysis method is appropriate to valve leakage evaluation.

  • The mechanical and thermal load. and thermal softening which is happened by the high temperature of die, in hot and warm forging, cause wear. heat checking and plastic deformation, etc. This study is for the effects of solid lubricants and surface treatments for warm forging die Because cooling effect and low friction are essential to the long lift of dies. optimal surface treatments and lubricants are very important to hot and warm forging Process. The heat that is generated by repeated forging processes. and its transfer are important factors to affect die life. The main factors, which affect die hardness and heat transfer, are surface treatments and lubricants, which are related to thermal diffusion coefficient and heat transfer coefficient, etc. For verifying these. experiments art performed for diffusion coefficient and heat transfer coefficient in various conditions - different initial billet temperatures and different loads. Carbonitriding and ionitriding are used as surface treatments. and oil- base and water-base graphite lubrirants are used. The effects of lubricant and surface treatment for warm forging die lift are explained by their thermal characteristics.

  • 자동차에 적용되는 각종 전자 부품의 복잡도는 21세기를 맞이하면서 급속도로 변화하고 있다. 특히, 각종 전기, 전자 시스템의 급증은 자동차의 안전과 직결되는 문제로 인식되고 있다. 차량의 전장 및 전자부품을 연결해주는 커넥터는 인간의 신경망과 같아서 조그마한 접촉 불량도 차량의 운전에 심각한 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 차량의 진동과 커넥터 단자의 열 변형으로 인한 프레팅 부식은 산화막을 형성하여 접촉저항을 증가시키고 특히 산화층은 진접촉면적의 감소와 상승저항 등 터널 효과에서 급격한 상승을 보이는 결과로 제어신호를 왜곡하여 작동기의 동작오류를 초례한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 프레팅 부식 현상을 검증하기 위한 주석으로 도금된 구리 커넥터에 스텝핑 모터를 사용하여 일정한 변위를 갖는 미세 진동을 유발하여 프레핑 부식의 진행과 접촉저항의 변화를 고찰하여 이에 대한 대비책을 강구하고자 한다.
