여자 필드하키 페널티코너 전문 슈터 양성을 위한 Drag Flick 슈팅 동작의 운동학적 분석: 사례 연구 (Kinematic Analysis of Drag Flick Shooting Motion for Training Shooters Specializing in Penalty Corners in Women's Field Hockey: A Case Study)

  • Objective: This study aims to propose an efficient technical model through a kinematic analysis of field hockey drag flick shooting motion in laboratory situations and game situations and to build up the basic data on drag flick shooting technique through a comparative analysis of a Korean specialized shooter and specialized shooters of competing Asian countries. Method: This study selected one Korean female national specialized shooter and seven specialized shooters of competing countries, China, Japan, India, and Malaysia, who participated in the 2018 Asian Hockey Champions Trophy as research subjects. In exercise situations, a 3-D motion analysis utilizing an infrared camera was conducted, while in game situations, an image-based 3-D motion analysis utilizing a digital camera was conducted. Results: The Korean specialized shooter had smaller changes in the angles of the trunk and the stick in game situations than in exercise situations. She had a high angular velocity of the trunk and the stick head, and the maximum speed of the ball was high. The Korean specialized shooter had the maximum angular velocity of the trunk higher than the specialized shooters of the competing countries did, and the angular velocity of the stick head and the maximum speed of the ball were in the average level. Conclusion: As for drag flick shooting in game situations, changes in the angle of the trunk and the stick were small, and the angular velocity was high due to the pressure that the shooters should perform the motion fast with the defenders' interruptions, and this high angular velocity of the trunk and the stick head affected the movement of the ball. Thus, the maximum speed of the ball was higher in game situations than in exercise situations. The Korean specialized shooter had the maximum angular velocity higher than the specialized shooters of the competing countries did; however, the maximum speed of the ball was average, and it turned out that the maximum speed of the ball was associated with the angular velocity of the stick head in P3. Therefore, Korean specialized shooters need complementary training for a change to the torque of the stick head, using the strong torque of the trunk.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 태권도 기본동작의 하나인 정권지르기 기술을 끊어지르기와 밀어지르기로 구분 실시하여 impact순간의 가속도 및 속도의 변화유형을 분석하고, 충격순간의 동작을 영상분석으로 살펴보았다. 먼저, 가속도와 속도 변화를 알아보기 위해서는 미국에서 제작한 Low-g Accelerometer 라는 가속도 분석장비를 이용하였으며, 피험자 상완 전체길이의 80% 지점에 흰 마분지를 걸어놓고 센서를 주먹 등에 단단히 부착한 후 끊어지르기와 밀어지르기를 각각 10회씩 실시하였다. 이중 3회씩의 그래픽을 분석자료로 활용하였다. 그리고 impact 순간의 영상 분석을 위해서는 미국에서 2005년에 만든 Trouble Shooter Camera를 활용하여 초당 250프레임으로 촬영하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 가속도 파형에서 밀어지르기가 끊어지르기 보다 1주기 더 나타나 밀어지르기 동작이 시간적으로 더 길게 힘을 가하다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 가속도와 속도 변화를 그래프로 보면 최고의 가속도를 보인 후 급격하게 떨어지기 시작한 지점에서 최고 속도가 일어났다. 셋째, 고속 카메라에 의한 영상분석을 통하여 끊어지르기도 어깨를 약간은 밀게 된다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

가시용 직분식 디젤기관의 분무와 화염에 관한 연구 (A study on the spray and flame by optically accessible D.I. diesel engine : analysis by Schlieren method and diffused background illumination method)

  • To analyze the spray and flame in D.I. diesel engine, the visualizing methods by schlieren photograph and diffused background illumination photograph with high speed camera are applied to optically accessible D.I.diesel engine. Wcaporating spray, spray droplets and brightness flame are taken with high speed camera by visuallizing method in accordance with various suction air temperature and injection time. The spray and flame image on the film was analyzed by image analyzer. The optically accessible D.I. diesel engine had the similar pressure characteristic to the real D.I. diesel engine. Experimental results showed that shadow areas of the evaporating spray were extended at higher suction air temperature, spray droplets had a max. Penetration length and their penetrating patterns were dependent on the surrounding gas temperature, and flame size after ignition was largely governed by the evaporated fuel quantity at ignition point and by the surrounding gas condition due to piston motion.

혼합기의 유동 및 점화조건에 따른 초기화염의 전파특성 (The influence of Mixture Flow and the Ignition Conditions on the Initial Flame Propagation Characteristics)

  • Initial flame development and propagation were visualized under the new ignition system developed to estimate the effects of ignition characteristics on the engine performance in a port injection SI engine. Effects of intake air flow characteristics were also investigated by three different kinds of the swirl control valve. Experiments were performed in an optical single cylinder engine modified form a commercial engine. Flame images were captured through the quartz window mounted in the piston by the high speed video camera and analyzed to compare initial flame development. Results show that IMEP tends to rise slightly as the ignition duration gets longer. The direction of flame propagation is decisively governed by the in-cylinder flow motion. Every flame grows toward the exhaust valve forming a kind of turbulent flame. Initial flame propaagation characteristics are very similar to ones analyzed form pressure data.

  • The color sorting technique utilizing the image processing method is very applicable tool to analyze motion of a free-falling object in many agricultural and industrial research fields. In the present study, we have developed an image processing system and algorithm to sort good quality rice grains effectively from the bad ones. The system employs a high speed rate line-scan CCD camera with 2K-pixels and worked with a high speed DSP and FPGA in-line. It can accumulate acquired line-scan image data and visualize each grain image clearly. As a result, we can easily calculate the number of pixels occupied by grain(=grain size), gray level and its correct position by visualizing grain images rapidly.

입체적인 쇼트를 통한 코믹연출연구 (A Study on The Comic Presentation Through Three-Dimensional Shot)

  • 코믹영상제작에 있어 강조과 과장을 통한 코믹한 연출은 무엇보다도 중요한 과제이다. 본 연구는 입체적 쇼트의 움직임을 활용한 코믹효과를 연구하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 3D제작프로그램의 가상카메라와 고속카메라의 팔로우 모션(Flow Motion)으로 제작되어진 쇼트를 추출하였다. 이러한 제작기법을 응용하여 효과적으로 제작되고, 영상콘텐츠의 입체연출방법으로 제작되어진 쇼트를 연구장면으로 분류한다. 연구의 중심은 입체적 연출쇼트가 이야기의 분위를 코믹하게 만들어 가는 요인을 찾아보는 것이다. 쇼트 분석에 의하면 입체적인 연출은 이야기를 더욱 입체적으로 시각화 하여 공간과 시간에 대하여 더욱 많은 이야기를 풀어가는 역할로서 카메라의 이동, 렌즈, 초점의 활용이 많은 것을 알 수 있다. 더불어 코믹과장 요소가 많이 제공 되는 연출에서는 쇼트의 크기와 지속시간으로 화면을 강조하는 기법에 활용되었고, 3D 제작프로그램의 가상카메라와 고속카메라로 공간을 과장하는 방법을 연출한다. 이러한 입체적 쇼트 분위기가 코믹연출효과에 적용되는 가능성을 통하여 코믹제작에 대한 질적인 향상과 효율적 제작방법을 재검토하여 코믹연출의 접근성을 연구하고자 한다.

지면이륙하는 나비의 날개짓 분석 (Experimental Analysis of the Ground Take-off Flight of a Butterfly)

  • In the present work, high-speed video images of the ground take-off flight of a live butterfly were captured and their dynamic motions during the first full-stroke were analyzed. To capture the dynamic images of the take-off motion, the experimental setup consisted of a high-speed camera, a Xenon lamp as a light source and a transparent chamber of $15^W{\times}15^L{\times}17^H$ $cm^3$ in physical size. The ambient temperature and supplementary lighting devices were precisely controlled. The weight and wing span of the butterfly tested in this study was 104 mg and 63.14 mm, respectively. The ground take-off images were captured with 4000 fps with a spatial resolution of (1024${\times}$512) pixels. The period of the first full-stroke was 80.5ms and the flapping speed of downstroke was 2 times faster than that of upstroke. As a result, butterflies used the fling and near-clap motion to generate lifting force and an interesting take-off behavior of early pronation and downstroke was observed.

철봉 리발코(Rybalko) 동작의 운동학적 분석 (The Kinematic Analysis of the Rybalko Motion on the Horizontal Bar)

  • The purpose of this study was done in order to investigate the Kinematical variables of the Rybalko motion on the Horizontal bar using the 3-dimensional cinematographic method. For this study, three excellent athletes take part in a 2003 Daegue universid game were chosen. The subject,s Rybalko motion was filmed with S-VHS camera at the speed of 60 fields per second and digitized the each fields. And the Kwon3D 3.1 version program was employed to obtain 3-dimensional data. As a result of this study. 1. A total time spent for performing Rybalko skill was Mean $2.52{\pm}0.13sec$. From starting down swing to releasing right hand the Mean $0.84{\pm}0.24sec$ was taken. 2. In the event 3 of Rybalko motion, that is, the moment which the right-hand is released on the bar, the center of mass must is employed at the position above the horizontal line of bar. In this research, the average vertical displacement(z axe) of center of mass shows $47.87{\pm}3.14cm$. 3. In the event 5, that is, the moment which the right-hand is catched again on the bar, the center of mass is employed at the position before the vertical line of bar. In this research, the average horizontal displacement(z axe) of center of mass shows $47.87{\pm}3.14cm$. 4. It has been seen that, at the moment of release of right-hand, lateral variation of center of mass is 13.395cm, vertical variation of center of mass is 7.41cm Thus, it is concluded that lateral variation of center of mass should be reduced for high grade to be acquired. 5. It has been founded that high speed of down swing influences speed of up swing, and that, in the motion of twist, the horizontal speed is little changed.

Recognition of the 3-D motion of a human arm with HIGIPS

  • This paper gives an overview of HIGIPS design concepts and prototype HIGIPS configuration, and discusses its application to recognition of the 3-D motion of a human arm. HIGIPS which employs the combination of pipeline architecture and multiprocessor architecture, is a high-speed, high-performance and low cost N * M multimicroprocessor parallel machine, where N is the number of pipeline stages and M is the number of processors in each stage. The algorithm to recognize the motion of a human arm with a single TV camera was developed on personal computer (NEC PC9801 series). As a constraint condition, some simple ring marks are used. Each joint of the arm is attached with a ring mark to obtain its centroid position when the arm moves. These centroid positions in the three-dimensional space are linked at each of the successive pictures of the moving arm to recover its overall motion. This algorithm takes about 2 seconds to process one image frame on the general-purpose personal computer. This paper mainly discuses how to partition this algorithm and execute on HIGIPS, and shows the speed up. From this application, it is clear that HIGIPS is an efficient machine for image processing and recognizing.

중변형률 속도 유동응력 확보를 위한 고속 인장 실험기 설계 (Design of High Speed Tensile Test Machine for Flow Stress under Intermediate Strain Rate Condition)

  • A hydraulic tensile test machine (HSTM) is one of the devices used to obtain the flow stress of a material during high-speed elongation. This paper first describes some features of a newly built HSTM. The improvement histories of the upper and lower jigs, which are the most vital parts of the HSTM, are also presented. We have frequently witnessed test failures with 1st generation jigs and specimens due to slip between the jig and specimen. 2nd generation jigs provide more stable test results, but the use of a longer upper jig induces excessive vibration and consequently makes it difficult to attach an environment chamber. 3rd generation jigs have some advances in terms of the symmetric fastening between the upper jig and specimen, as well as an exemption from direct contact between the lower jig and specimen. The performance of an environment chamber is verified by high and low temperature tests. A high-speed displacement measurement system is introduced based on a high-speed camera and motion-tracking software with aid of a surface grid device for the specimen.
