This study carried out a survey of students in Gangwon province's general opinion and satisfaction with the school food-service programs implemented in Gangwon province. The method involved a survey of 1,500 elementary, middle, and high school students from 30 schools. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows: With regards to their general opinion of the school food-service programs, $70\%$ of the students answered that the size of the portions was appropriate. Moreover, the survey students answered that they were satisfied with the current method in which the food services. The elementary school students were found to be the best at maintaining public order when the food services were being conducted. The largest complaint which the students had towards these food service programs was the taste of the food itself. With regard to the students' degree of satisfaction with the school food service programs, the highest level of satisfaction with the atmosphere during meal times(3.88), followed by the degree of satisfaction with the food(3.27), and the school cafeteria environment(3.20), and the sanitary conditions of the food service facilities(3.14). The overall opinion and degree of satisfaction with school food service programs demonstrated significant differences, depending on the school level and type of food service.

The fashion leadership, use of fashion information, and apparel shopping behavior of middle-and high-school male students were examined. The interrelationship of the three variables was also analysed. Subjects were 600 male students in Kang-Bouk and kang-Nam. Major findings indicated that fashion consciousness and confidence were the significant factors in fashion innovativeness and opinion leadership. And the outfit of celebrities(popular signer and film stars) was the most influential factors in the fashion leadership. Among commercial informations, the display and interior was more effective than advertisings. The higher the innovativeness, the more subjects wanted to accompany friends rather than parents and also the more time was spent in their shopping.
This study was conducted for the purpose of empirically analyzing the effects of adolescents' relationships with major adults as protective factors for smartphone addiction. Specifically, the study compared the discriminatory effects of adolescents' relationships with their parents, school teachers, and educational institute teachers on smartphone addiction among elementary, middle, and high school students in Korea. Analyzing the data of the 2019 Korean Children & Youth Happiness Index (N=7,454), it was found that relationships with adults were significant factors in explaining the level of smartphone addiction even after controlling for the influences of adolescents' demographics, usage time, and friendship factors. For elementary school students, good relationships with their mothers and school teachers decreased the risk of smartphone addiction. On the other hand, in the case of middle school students, only a good relationship with father functioned as a protective factor. Good relationships with their fathers and institute teachers decreased the level of high school students' smartphone addiction. Based on these findings, this study discussed on the development of programs and policies for prevention and intervention of adolescents' smartphone addiction and provided suggestions for follow-up research in the future.
The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of high school students on foodservice. A survey from 8 high school foodservice operations in Seoul was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 538 high school students. Completed questionnaires were received from 3 self-operated and 5 contracted school foodservice operations. Statistical analyses were performed by SPSS including descriptive analysis and t-test. The 49.8% of the respondent students were male and 50.2% female. The whole students assessed the importance and performance of school foodservice as 4.18 and 2.83 out of 5 respectively, which suggests that the school foodservice needs to be improved. The Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) used for obtaining information on high school foodservice management suggested that foodservice attributes with fair to poor performance but with high importance were sanitation of food, service of foodservice personnel, dealing with complaints and the reflection of students'opinion in menu.
The main purpose of this study is to provide a basic knowledge of Kimchi preferred by high school students and to improve high school students' Kimchi intake. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 1,056 high school students in Taegu area. The results were as follows: 82% of the students had an affirmative opinion of Kimchi intake and they regarded Kimchi as one of our traditional, healthful and nutritious foods. The most well known Kimchi is as follows: Kkaktugi, Baechu Kimchi, Mul Kimchi, Chonggak Kimchi, Pa Kimchi, Dongchimi, Kkaennip Kimchi and Buchu Kimchi. The students preferred the white stems of the Chinese cabbage. Boy students preferred taste of fresh prepared Kimchi but girl students more preferred properly fermented Kimchi than the other. Their favorite ingredients were Korean radishes, oysters, green onion and carrots, also their favorite spices were red pepper powder, anchovies sauce, garlic and sugar in the order. Among those spices, boy students more preferred anchovies sauce than girl students. The students regarded market Kimchi as one of convenient and time-saving, but less quality and insanitary foods.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of Middle and High School Students' influential groups in putting on clothing according to their delinquency and demographic variables. My subject was 1050 middle and high school boys and girls who are resident in Seoul; sample groups were selected, considered their resident area, gender and the kind of school. The results are as follows: 1. The exemplary group was most regarded the opinion and evaluation of teacher, father and mother and followed the clothing of teacher. Compared with the exemplary group, the delinquent group was most regarded the opinion and evaluation of other and same sex friend and tended to follow their clothing style. Besides, the delinquent and middle groups were most regarded the opinion and evaluation of seniors and tended to follow their clothing style. The mass media star was most modelled by delinquent group, following by middle and exemplary groups. 2. Schoolgirls were more regarded the opinion and evaluation of same sex friend and senior and were more remarkable to follow the clothing style of their parent, friend, senior or mass media star than schoolboys. The students who did well at school more were regarded the evaluation of father, mother and same sex friend than those who did commonly or poorly. As for the exemplary group, the poorer a student did at school, the more he/she tended to follow the clothing style of mass media star, but on the contrary, as for the delinquent group, all students tended to follow the clothing style of mass media star regardless of their academic record. And there was no significant difference according to social status in important others and model group.
The purpose of this study was to analyze high school students' school uniform wearing attitude by group according to clothing attitude targeting Gyeongnam area. This study aims to provide preliminary data in the field of school uniform and marketing that clothing propensity by groups is considered. This study conducted a survey targeting 762 high school students in Gyeongnam. For statistical analysis, SPSS for Window 14.0 was used for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple sponse analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA analysis and Duncan's ex-post analysis method. As a result of cluster analysis on the clothing attitude, students were divided into 4 segmentation of fashion seeking group, fashion indifference group, conformity group and modesty group. As a result of verification on the difference in perception toward wearing school uniform by groups which were classified according to the propensity of clothing attitude, activity, stability, and practicality were all varied according to the propensity of clothing attitude. 4 groups were significant differences in the degree of consent to wearing school uniform, price of school uniforms, tendency to prefer famous brand when purchasing school uniform, experience of transforming school uniform, opinion about school uniform modification and reason for school uniform modification. While low graders were many in 'modesty group', upper graders were many in 'fashion seeking group', which means that more segmentalized satisfaction of clothing by group may be raised if such a fact is considered when planning clothing for high school students segmentalized by age.

The purpose of this study is to provide the basics of effective Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School education by analyzing Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School students' perceptions about their educational environment and school education. To achieve the purpose of this research, the study carried out a survey targeting 350 Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School students. The findings are as follows: First, the perceptions about instructions of department is generally positive. And they demand expansion of practice instruction. Second, the perceptions about curriculum is generally positive. And they demand field-experience learning. Third, the perceptions about school management and administration is generally positive. But they dissatisfied with considering their opinion about school management and administration. Fourth, the perceptions about counselling and personality guidance is generally positive. And the efforts to stop school violence are valued most positive. But the satisfaction in club activities is relatively low, so we need to come up with measure to increase club activities.
Purpose: This study was carried out to suggest methods for improving school health promotion programs by investigating the daily activities and the performance level of environment management, the awareness of importance, and opinions on the revision of and knowledge about laws and regulations related to school health promotion programs. Method: The subjects of this study were 289 school nurses in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The survey used a questionnaire containing 90 questions developed by the present researcher. Data were collected from July 5 to July 21, 2006 and analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows. Result: 1. Regular check-up and drinking water management got the highest score in performance level. Sexual health and drinking water management got the highest score in the awareness of importance. 2. School nurses were aware of laws and regulations related to their clients (0.93), and the revision opinion was high on the whole (3.58). 3. According to general characteristics, the more educated school nurse were (F=6.80, p=.001) and the fewer students their school had (F=4.66, p=.010), the higher their performance level in daily activities was. The shorter their career in their work was (F=4.86, p=.008), the fewer classes their school had (F=5.04, p=.007) and the fewer students their school had (F=3.83, p=.023), the higher their awareness of importance was. 4. There was not any difference in the performance level of environment management according to general characteristics. The awareness of importance was highest in school nurses with experience less then ten years (F=3.66, p=.027). 5. There was not any difference in knowledge about laws and regulations according to general characteristics. The revision opinion was high in school nurses at schools with less than 18 classrooms (F=6.04, p=.003) and less than 500 students (F=4.24, p=.015). Conclusion: When school nurses perform school health promotion programs actively and vigorously, the students can be healthy and national health promotion can be actualized fundamentally.
The purpose of this study is to analyze high school students' critical opinions on others' inquiries in small group open inquiry. Forty-one high school students participated in these activities at the inquiry planning stage and the intermediate stage of inquiry. In the two activities, 595 and 233 opinions were presented respectively, and analyzed into categories based on the inquiry process. The main research results are as follows: first, many opinions were presented in the areas of 'problem recognition and hypothesis setting' and 'design of inquiry' in the feedback on the inquiry plan, especially related to 'revision and addition of research problems,' 'research targets and conditions,' and 'control of variables.' Second, in the feedback on the results of the inquiry, there were many opinions related to 'report preparation' and 'design of inquiry' area. Based on the research results, implications related to the application of critical opinion activity were discussed.
