와이어매쉬와 강섬유로 보강된 콘크리트 패널의 내충격성 규명을 위한 고속충격실험 (High-Velocity Impact Experiment on Impact Resistance of Steel Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Panels with Wire Mesh)

  • 본 실험적 연구는 고속 비상체에 의한 충돌하중을 받는 강섬유보강콘크리트 패널의 내충격성을 파악하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 실험에서는 또한 와이어매쉬 보강 유무에 따른 내충격성을 파악하였다. 강섬유 혼입률, 와이어매쉬 보강, 패널두께, 충돌속도, 골재크기를 변수로 조절하면서 고속충격을 가하여 실험체의 성능을 비교하였다. 강섬유의 혼입으로 인한 관입깊이에 대한 내충격성 향상은 미흡하였지만, 배면박리와 관통에 대해서는 내충격성 향상에 효과가 있었다. 이는 강섬유가 콘크리트매트릭스 내에서 가교효과를 발현하였기 때문이다. 그리고 와이에매쉬로 보강하였을 때 전면과 배면의 파괴면적은 감소하였고 관통과 배면박리에 대해서는 효과적이었지만, 관입깊이 억제력 향상에는 미흡하였다. 한편, 일부 실험체에서는 배면의 피복층을 따라서 쪼갬부착파괴가 발생한 경우도 있었지만, 대체적으로 와이어매쉬는 충격에 의한 패널의 휨변형을 억제하는 효과를 보였다. 관입 깊이의 관점에서는 20 mm 골재의 사용이 내충격성 향상에 효과적이었고, 전면과 배면의 파괴면적 감소 측면에서는 8 mm 골재의 사용이 20 mm 골재와 비교하여 보다 효과적이었다.

Flux Cored Wire의 최신 기술 개발 동향 (The Latest Technology Development Trends of Flux Cored Wire)

  • Flux Cored Wire is the most widely used welding material for Flux Cored Arc Welding these days. This paper introduces the technical aspects of manufacturing FCW and the development trend of FCW for each type of steel and metal. The studies are ongoing to lower the production cost of seamless-type FCW since it has not been generally used in welding shops so far because of it high cost even though the seamless-type FCW has various advantages than folded-type FCW in terms of manufacturing technology. Meanwhile, a technical research has been carried out to develop a rutile type of FCW products which satisfies high toughness after post heat treatment. In addition, for high-speed fillet welding, there has been a development of welding materials which can be welded in Single Auto-Carriage 100 cpm or more and up to Twin Tandem 200 cpm without occurring any welding defect in order to improve the welding productivity. As Zn coated steel is being used recently to improve the corrosion resistance of the automotive parts, a research and development for Metal Cored Wire has been conducted to reduce the Si island produced in welding operation than those produced when using the former solid wires. A development of welding material that guarantees CTOD performance beyond $-40^{\circ}C$ CTOD to $-60^{\circ}C$ is underway by different steel grades, and FCW for super austenitic stainless steel is being developed as the corrosion resistant steel has been upgraded.

  • While the modern society has been highly diversified and civilized, the demand for the safty of a power transmission has been greatly increased. For the underground cable, the performance of the electrical equipments is being improved by developing a new technology, and the reliability of the power supply is being up graded by impressing the diagnostic and monitoring technology of the system. In this paper the aging procedure of O.F and XLPE cables are described, including the diagnostic and monitoring equipments and the future subject.

  • Racetrack coils are used in many areas of superconductivity applications such as generators, motors, maglev, wiggler magnets and so on. Especially now a days a few advanced nations including U.S., Japan are developing high temperature superconducting(HTS) wire which has better performance than low temperature superconducting(LTS) wire. Most of HTS wires such as BSCCO-2223 are manufactured with PIT(Power In Tube) process, so the shape of the wire looks like tape different from LTS wire with round cross-sectional appearance like normal conductors. Generally HTS racetrack coils are composed of a few partial double-pancake colis and then the double-pancakes are jointed each other according to their applications.

전향 스윕 프로펠러 홴의 성능 및 유동특성 (Performance and Flow Characteristics of a Forward Swept Propeller Fan)

  • Performance and flow characteristics of a small forward swept propeller fan for home refrigerators are studied experimentally. An unusual discontinuity is observed in the performance curve of the fan. Mean flow fields measured with as-hole Pitot probe reveal that the flow is axial at the high flow rate and radial at the low flow rate. The flow structure changes abruptly across the discontinuity. Unsteady flow measurements with a set of hot-wire probes indicate that near the discontinuity a single-cell stall rotates at 40% speed of the fan speed, while away from the discontinuity the flow shows periodic variation corresponding to the blade passage frequency. Phase-lock averaged flow fields measured with a triple-sensor hot-wire probe show that there appears radially inward flow over the pressure side of the blade and the outward passage flow over the tip.

고속/정밀 위치제어시스템의 모델인 및 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Modeling and Control of High-Speed/High-Accuracy Position Control System)

  • This paper presents a dynamic modeling and a sliding mode controller for the high-speed/high-accuracy position control system. The selected target system is the wire bonder assembly which is used in the semiconductor assembly process. This system is a reciprocating one around the pivot point that consists of VCM(voice coil motor) as an actuator and transducer horn as a bonding tool. For the modeling elements, the sys-tem is divided into electrical circuit, magnetic circuit and mechanical system. Each system is modeled using the bond graph method and united into the full system. Two major aims are considered in the design of the controller. The first one is that the horn must track the given reference trajectory. The second one is that the controller must be realizable by using the DSP board. Computer simulation and experimental results show that the designed sliding mode controller provides better performance than the PID controller.

고강도 포획망 개발을 위한 펀칭시험 (Punching Test for Development of High-strength Rockfall Net)

  • 본 연구에서 개발하고자 하는 고강도 포획망은 심선 직경 3.2mm, 인장강도 290~540MPa급 강선으로 제작되는 일반 PVC 코팅망을 활용한 낙석방지망 공법을 대체하기 위함이다. 일반 PVC 코팅망은 그 성능이 낮아 낙석이나 표층유실이 발생할 경우 그 하중을 버티지 못하고 찢어지며 오히려 피해가 가중된다. 따라서 심선 직경 2.8~3.2mm, 인장강도 1,000~2,000MPa급 강선을 활용하여 고강도 포획망을 제작하였다. 시험 방법은 국제 기준인 Steel wire rope net panels and rolls-Definitions and specifications(ISO 17746:2016)을 참조하였으며, 펀칭시험에 대한 사항의 규정을 따라 실시하였다. 실내펀칭시험을 통해 일반 PVC 코팅망과 개발한 고강도 포획망(1,000MPa, 2,000MPa)의 하중-변위 곡선을 비교하였으며, 최대 인발력이 324.47%(고강도 포획망 2,000MPa)가 향상되는 것으로 분석되었다.

자동차 통신을 위한 광대역 커넥터 특성 연구 (A study on the characteristics of wide bandwidth connector for automotive communication)

  • 본 연구에서는 나선형 형태의 와이어를 자동차 무선통신(5.925GHz)용 차량 커넥터에 적용 가능성을 제안하였다. 이 나선형 와이어 형태의 커넥터 설계는 나선형 평균 반경, 나선형 피치, 나선형 와이어 자체의 반경, 나선형와이에서 접지 부분까지의 거리를 중요 설계인자로 판단하여 실시하였다. 이 같은 설계 해석 및 결과는 자동차 통신용 커넥터 설계를 위한 가장 적합한 나선형 와이어 치수 결정에 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 나선형 와이어가 삽입된 최적화된 자동차 WAVE용 커넥터는 삽입손실이 5.925GHz 대역에서 -0.76dB 이내로 발생되었다. 이 삽입손실 결과는 기존의 일반 커넥터에 비하여 21% 성능이 향상된 것이다. 따라서, 본 커넥터 해석결과는 자동차 통신을 위한 고주파대역의 최적 커넥터 설계에 유용하게 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

Fabrication and Test of Multiple HTS Wire with Transposition for HTS Power Transformer

  • According to the recent design of an HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) power transformer whose capacity is hundreds MVA, the rated current values of the low voltage side are generally over thousands amps. Considering the performance of the recent HTS wires, it is inevitable to use several HTS wires in parallel for large rated current. Lots of stacked HTS wires were fabricated and tested so far, and the results have showed that we have to transpose each wire in order to reduce the AC losses as well as to increase the current capacity. But many development programs about HTS transformers reveal that the transposition of the several wires during the winding process is quite difficult not only in case of the layer windings but also in case of the pancake type ones. So, we need transposed multiple HTS wire which we can handle like single wire or cable for the HTS windings of large capacity power transformer. We fabricated several kinds of samples of multiple HTS wire with transposition to apply it to the HTS windings of power transformer. The electrical characteristics such as critical currents or AC losses are analyzed by experiments in case by case. Finally we present the best design of a multiple HTS wire for power transformer.
