지역 산업수요와 지역이동 : 전문고 졸업생의 첫 일자리를 중심으로 (Geographical Mobility of Vocational High School Graduates)

  • 취업 산업수요의 지역 범위 설정은 전문계고 교육과정 설계를 위한 선결요건이다. 시 도 교육청의 권한 구역을 기준으로 취업자의 약 38%가 지역 이동하여 첫 번째 직업을 가졌으며 상당수가 상업 계열을 졸업한 여성으로 제조업/전기 전자 직종에 취업하였다. 지역이동은 자격증과 같은 개인의 인적자본과 정(正)의 관계가 있었다. 지역이동의 임금효과는 기술수준이 높은 직업에 취업함으로써 얻은 간접효과보다는 지역이동의 직접효과였다. 성향점수 매칭 및 Rosenbaum(2002)의 민감도 분석을 활용한 결과는 지역이동의 유의미한 임금효과를 보였다.

Evolutionary Model of Depression as an Adaptation for Blocked Social Mobility

  • Objectives In regard to the social competition hypothesis, depression is viewed as an involuntary defeat strategy. A previous study has demonstrated that adaptation in microenvironments can result in a wide range of behavioural patterns including defense activation disorders. Using a simulation model with evolutionary ecological agents, we explore how the fitness of various defence activation traits has changed over time in different environments with high and low social mobility. Methods The Evolutionary Ecological Model of Defence Activation Disorder, which is based on the Marginal Value Theorem, was used to examine changes in relative fitness for individuals with defensive activation disorders after adjusting for social mobility. Results Our study examined the effects of social mobility on fitness by varying the d-values, a measure of depression in the model. With a decline in social mobility, the level of fitness of individuals with high levels of defense activation decreased. We gained insight into the evolutionary influence of varying levels of social mobility on individuals' degrees of depression. In the context of a highly stratified society, the results support a mismatch hypothesis which states that high levels of defence are detrimental. Conclusions Despite the fact that niche specialization in habitats composed of multiple microenvironments can result in diverse levels of defensive activation being evolutionary strategies for stability, decreased social mobility may lead to a decrease in fitness of individuals with highly activated defence modules. There may be a reason behind the epidemic of depression in modern society.

이동로보트의 주행특성을 고려한 최적설계 (Optimal Design of a Mobile Robot Based upon Mobility)

  • 본 논문에서는 유동적인 두 바퀴간격을 갖는 이동로보트의 주행 효율 및 회전특성을 정의하고, 그에 따라 이동로보트의 바퀴의 반경이 정해져 있는 상황 속에서 두 바퀴의 간격을 동적으로 변화시켜, 원하는 주행 효율과 회전특성을 얻을 수 있음을 제안하여 보여준다. 기존의 이동 로보트의 두 바퀴의 간격이 고정되어 있으면, 그 회전 및 주행특성이 고정되어지며 이로 인하여 순간적인 장애물을 회피할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 기존의 고정된 바퀴간격을 탈피하여 두 바퀴의 거리를 동적으로 변화시켜 높은 회전 특성을 순간적으로 얻을 수 있고, 또한 안정된 가운데 높은 주행특성을 가질 수 있음을 보였다. 본 연구에서 정의된 주행특성(mobility) 및 회전특성(rotatability)은 이동로보트의 설계에 적용되어 도로의 설계조건 및 로보트의 상태가 정해진 상황에서 이동로보트의 최적 설계를 위한 이론적 근거를 제공할 것이다. 실험적 데이터를 사용하여 정의된 주행 및 회전특성의 타당성을 보여 준다.

  • Hole mobility characteristics of two representative biaxially strained SiGe/Si structures with high Ge contents are studied, They are single channel ($Si/Si_{1-x}Ge_x/Si$ substrate) and dual channel ($Si/Si_{1-y}Ge_y/Si_{1-x}Ge_x/Si$ substrate), where the former consists of a relaxed SiGe buffer layer with 60 % Ge content and a tensile-strained Si layer on top, and for the latter, a compressively strained SiGe layer is inserted between two layers, Owing to the hole mobility performance between a relaxed SiGe film and a compressive-strained SiGe film in the single channel and the dual channel, the hole mobility behaviors of two structures with respect to the Si cap layer thickness shows the opposite trend, Hole mobility increases with thicker Si cap layer for single channel structure, whereas it decreases with thicker Si cap layer for dual channel. This hole mobility characteristics could be easily explained by a simple capacitance model.

QoS-aware Cross Layer Handover Scheme for High-Speed vehicles

  • High-Speed vehicles can be considered as multiple mobile nodes that move together in a large-scale mobile network. High-speed makes the time allowed for a mobile node to complete a handover procedure shorter and more frequently. Hence, several protocols are used to manage the mobility of mobile nodes such as Network Mobility (NEMO). However, there are still some problems such as high handover latency and packet loss. So efficient handover management is needed to meet Quality of Service (QoS) requirements for real-time applications. This paper utilizes the cross-layer seamless handover technique for network mobility presented in cellular networks. It extends this technique to propose QoS-aware NEMO protocol which considers QoS requirements for real-time applications. A novel analytical framework is developed to compare the performance of the proposed protocol with basic NEMO using cost functions for realistic city mobility model. The numerical results show that QoS-aware NEMO protocol improves the performance in terms of handover latency, packet delivery cost, location update cost, and total cost.

  • TFTs technologies with as high mobility as possible is essential for high-performance large displays. TFTs using nanocrystalline silicon thin films can achieve higher mobility. In this work, the change of the crystalline volume fraction at different hydrogen dilution ratios was investigated by depositing nc-Si:H thin films using PECVD. It was observed that increasing hydrogen dilution ratio increased not only the crystalline volume fraction but also the crystallite size. The thin films with a high crystalline volume fraction (55%) and a low defect density (1017 cm-3·eV-1) were used as top gate TFTs channel layer, leading to a high mobility (55 cm2/V·s). We suggest that TFTs of high mobility to meet the need of display industries can be benefited by the formation of thin film with high crystalline volume fraction as well as low defect density as a channel layer.

Temperature Dependence of Electron Mobility in Uniaxial Strained nMOSFETs

  • The temperature dependence of strain-enhanced electron mobility in nMOSFETs is investigated by using a self-consistent Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger-Poisson solver. The calculated results suggest that vertical compressive stress is more efficient to maintain the strain-enhanced electron mobility than longitudinal tensile stress in high temperature condition.

  • Amorphous oxide-based thin-film transistors (TFTs) have drawn a lot of attention recently for the next-generation high-resolution display industry. The required field-effect mobility of oxide-based TFTs has been increasing rapidly to meet the demands of the high-resolution, large panel size and 3D displays in the market. In this regard, the current status and major trends in the high mobility oxide-based TFTs are briefly reviewed. The various approaches, including the use of semiconductor, dielectric, electrode materials and the corresponding device structures for realizing high mobility oxide-based TFT devices are discussed.

  • In order to combine advantages of ZnO thin film transistors (TFTs) with a high on-off ratio and graphene TFTs with extremely high carrier mobility, we present a facile methodology for fabricating ZnO thin film/graphene hybrid two-dimensional TFTs. Hybrid TFTs exhibited ambipolar behavior, an outstanding electron mobility of $329.7{\pm}16.9cm^2/V{\cdot}s$, and a high on-off ratio of $10^5$. The ambipolar behavior of the ZnO/graphene hybrid TFT with high electron mobility could be due to the superimposed density of states involving the donor states in the bandgap of ZnO thin films and the linear dispersion of monolayer graphene. We further established an applicable circuit model for understanding the improvement in carrier mobility of ZnO/graphene hybrid TFTs.

네트워크 이동성을 지원하는 하이브리드 분산 이동성 관리 (NEMO-enabled Hybrid Distributed Mobility Management)

  • 분산 이동성 관리 방식은 이동성 기능을 사용자와 가까이에 위치한 네트워크 경계로 분산시킨다. 이에 따라서 트래픽 전달 비용을 낮추고 패킷 전달 경로를 최적화할 수 있으며 확장성이 높은 장점을 갖는다. 하지만, 시그널링 메시지를 교환하기 위한 모바일 앵커의 개수가 증가하여 시그널링 비용이 증가하는 문제점을 갖는다. 그래서 지속시간이긴 세션에 대해서 높은 시그널링 비용을 감소시키는 하이브리드 분산 이동성 방식이 연구되었고 본 논문에서는 네트워크 이동성을 지원하는 환경으로 하이브리드 방식을 확장한다. 모바일 라우터는 차량에 장착되어 모바일 장치들과 함께 이동한다. 따라서 모바일 라우터에 대해서 고속 이동성 특성을 정의하여 이용하는 하이브리드 방식을 제안한다. 모바일 라우터의 이동성 특성에 따라서 모바일 앵커를 분산하여 할당하거나 혹은 특정한 모바일 앵커를 지정하여 할당한다. 본 논문은 네트워크 이동성을 지원하는 하이브리드 분산 이동성 관리 방식에 대해서 제안하고 성능을 수학적으로 분석하여 우수한 성능임을 보여준다.
