  • This paper presents a new ZVS-PWM high frequency inverter. The ZVS operation is achieved in the whole load range by using a simple auxiliary reverse blocking switch in parallel with series resonant capacitor. The operating principle and the operating characteristics of the new high frequency circuit treated here are illustrated and evaluated on the basis of simulation results. It was examined that the complete soft switching operation can be achieved even for low power setting ranges by introducing the high frequency dual duty cycle control scheme. In the proposed high frequency inverter treated here, the dual mode pulse modulation control strategy of the asymmetrical PWM in the higher power setting ranges and the lower power setting ones, the output power of this high frequency inverter could introduce in order to extend soft switching operation ranges. Dual duty cycle is used to provide a wide range of output power regulation that is important in many high frequency inverter applications. It is more suitable for induction heating applications the operation and control principle of the proposed high frequency inverter are described and verified through simulated results.

  • This paper presents a 37.5kVA (125kVp, 300mA) high frequency inverter type power supply for diagonostic X-ray generator with two HFHV (high-frequency high-voltage) isolating transformers. The output regulations, X-ray tuve voltage and tube current, are obtained by two high frequency inverters with the each other feedback PI controller and operating time switch for selecting shooting time and synchronizing two inverters. The operating modes and design consideration of the proposed power supply are given. Issues in the design of two HFHV isolating transformersfors high volage genrating and filament heating are discussed. Experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the designed power supply for varying load conditions. The proposed apparatus has several advnatages, e.g., the fast rising time of tube voltae, accuracy and reduced component size etc.

  • PLC (Power Line Communication) is the communication method using the existing power line installed in houses and offices to convert and transmit high frequency communication signal from tens of KHz to tens of MHz, and receive the filtered signal using high frequency filter. The advantage of PLC is that PLC uses the existing power line installed in houses and offices so it does not require separate power line. Easy and convenient access using electric outlets is another advantage of PLC. However, PLC has some disadvantages such as limited transmission power, high load interference and noise, variable signal attenuation, characteristic of impedance selective possibility of frequency property. This study designed the boiler temperature control system by unit using the modem designed on the basis of technology used for PLC modem, and designed remote control system using internet. After conducting experiments with those two systems, it was possible to control stably. By commercializing this product, we can avoid unnecessary heating of separate temperature control unit, and save the cost according1y, and it is possible to control on a remote site using internet in a more convenient way.

  • A high frequency resonant inverter consisting of three unit half-bridge serial resonant inverter used as power source of induction heating at high frequency is presented in this paper. As a output power control strategy, tine-sharing gate control method is applied. The analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized parameters. Also, according to the calculated characteristics value, a method of the circuit design and operating characteristics of the inverter is proposed. This paper proves the validity of theoretical analysis through the experiment. This proposed inverter show that it can be practically used in future as power source system for induction heating application, DC-DC converter etc.

  • This paper is described the stability and optimization according to each load of induction heating system for using half-bridge high-frequency series resonant inverter. Each metallic package is inserted into the ceramic type vessel with external working coil. This working coil is connected to the resonant inverter. It evaluates performance and stability of this system according to metallic package.

  • Energy-saving heat depending on the country's rise in oil prices up to the product development is regarded as pending issues. Therefore, in recent years, been a continuing research studies developed for increasing the economic efficiency and reliability achieved in effectively using the side of the energy for heating using electrical to address these problems and, in particular made active the technology developed for high performance and renal material becoming. This paper is to study the development of highly efficient induction heating device according to the excellent heat transfer characteristics for energy transfer. Induction heating is used as the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction, such as heat transfer conduction or convection of the existing methods are no different. Medium heat without beating is absorbed directly into the water column switched rapidly, have features that heats evenly. In addition, high-frequency induction heating in a variety of frame designs. Heating element heats only when utilized properly, it is possible to heat the focus.

  • This paper has described about a SEPP Inverter for induction heating load. It is analyzed theoretically about the Inverter operation for induction heating. According to the parameters of induction heating load, it is proposed a method of circuit analysis and operation characteristics of the Inverter. In addition, the soft switching technology known as ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) is used to reduce turn on and off loss at switching. The Proposed inverter shows it can be practically used as power source system for high frequency induction heating appliancs.
