This paper presents a power supply for gate drivers, which uses a magnetic resonance wireless power transfer system. Unlike other methods where multiple antennas are used to supply power for the gate drivers, the proposed method uses a single antenna in an insulated receiver to make multiple mutually isolated power supplies. The power transmitted via single antenna is distributed to multiple power supplies for gate drivers through resonant capacitors connected in parallel that also block DC bias. This approach has many advantages over other methods, where each gate driver needs to be supplied with power using multiple receiver antennas. The proposed method will therefore lead to a reduction in production costs and circuit area. Because the proposed circuit uses a high resonance frequency of 6.78 MHz, it is possible to implement a transmitter and a receiver using a small-sized spiral printed-circuit-board-type antenna. This paper used a single phase-leg circuit configuration to experimentally verify the performance characteristics of the proposed method.
The sliding mode control is an effective method to establish robustness against parameter variations and disturbance. But, in sliding mode strategy, the control function is discontinuous on the hyperplane. Consequently, the control input chatters at high frequency. When we apply such a control to the induction motor drive system, that causes a torque ripple and current harmonics, which are harmful to the system. In this paper, we introduce a low pass filter between sliding mode control output and driver input to overcome that problem. The band-width of this filter is varied according to the error funtion to improve transient responses.
The potential use of ranging sensors for reducing the occurrence of accidents in real environment is explored by many companies and laboratories. Most of the sensors under investigation utilize the FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) waveforms. The automotive environment presents to the FMCW radar sensor a multitude of moving and fixed targets and the sensor must detect and track only the targets which may pose a threat of collision or passengers accident. The sensor must function accurately in the presence of background echoes generated by moving and fixed targets, ground reflections, atmospheric noises, including rains, fog, and, snow and noise generated within the receiver. False detection of the desired target in this environment may issue false alarms. That may be dangerous to the passenger and the vehicle. A high false alarm rate is totally unacceptable. The false alarm mechanism consists of noise peaks, crossing the threshold and the undesired response of the system to off lane targets which are not potentially hazardous to the radar equipped vehicle. This paper presents an improve technique safety performance for driver-less operation using FMCW radar sensors.

A novel linear switched termination active cross-coupled low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) transceiver operating at 1.5 GHz clock frequency is presented. On the transmitter side, an active cross-coupled linear output driver and a switched termination scheme are applied to achieve high speed with low current. On the receiver side, a shared pre-amplifier scheme is employed to reduce power consumption. The proposed LVDS transceiver implemented in an 80 nm CMOS process is successfully demonstrated to provide a data rate of 6 Gbps/pin, an output data window of 147 ps peak-to-peak, and a data swing of 196 mV. The power consumption is measured to be 4.2 mW/pin at 1.2 V.

This paper presents a new sort of multilayer piezoelectric ceramic transformer for switching regulation power supplies. This piezoelectric transformer operate in the second thickness resonant vibration mode. Accordingly its resonant frequency is higher than 1 NHz, Because output power is low if input and output part of transformer are consisted of single layer, this research suggests a new method, which is consisted of both input and output part of transformer have 2-layered piezoelectric ceramics, The size of transformer is 20 mm in width and length, and 1.4 mm in thickness, respectively, To design a high efficient switching circuit of the transformer, internal circuit parameters were measured and then weve calculated a parameter of inductor nd capacitor to design a driving circuit, Weve used a MISFET and its driver circuit modified a calp oscillator circuit as the primary switching circuit.

Brake judder, which occurs when brakes are suddenly applied to a vehicle driving at high speed, affects the driver's safety to a great extent. It also has a low frequency that drivers can easily feel. Among theses presented, none offered studies using modeling of actual brakes in computer simulation in order to recreate the brake judder phenomenon, and most of them directly applied the frequency generated by the judder. To resolve this issue, this study hopes to develop a computer model that can recreate the phenomenon of brake judder. In this paper, in order to examine the vibration problem occurring when brake is applied on the test car, the multibody dynamic analysis program ADAMS was used to develop a computer model that can recreate the actual braking mechanism while breaking away from the existing understanding of brakes. Thus the existence of the brake judder phenomenon due to DTV(Dist Thickness Variation) and wheel rotating speed was examined through the developed model.

This paper presents a fully integrated 0.13 ${\mu}m$ CMOS MB-OFDM UWB transmitter chain (mode 1). The proposed transmitter consists of a low-pass filter, a variable gain amplifier, a voltage-to-current converter, an I/Q up-mixer, a differential-to-single-ended converter, a driver amplifier, and a transmit/receive (T/R) switch. The proposed T/R switch shows an insertion loss of less than 1.5 dB and a Tx/Rx port isolation of more than 27 dB over a 3 GHz to 5 GHz frequency range. All RF/analog circuits have been designed to achieve high linearity and wide bandwidth. The proposed transmitter is implemented using IBM 0.13 ${\mu}m$ CMOS technology. The fabricated transmitter shows a -3 dB bandwidth of 550 MHz at each sub-band center frequency with gain flatness less than 1.5 dB. It also shows a power gain of 0.5 dB, a maximum output power level of 0 dBm, and output IP3 of +9.3 dBm. It consumes a total of 54 mA from a 1.5 V supply.
This paper proposes a high-efficiency power amplifier (PA) with uneven bias. The proposed amplifier consists of a driver amplifier, power stages of the main amplifier with class AB bias, and an auxiliary amplifier with class C bias. Unlike other CMOS PAs, the amplifier adopts a current-mode transformer-based combiner to reduce the output stage loss and size. As a result, the amplifier can improve the efficiency and reduce the quiescent current. The fully integrated CMOS PA is implemented using the commercial Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company 0.18-${\mu}m$ RF-CMOS process with a supply voltage of 3.3 V. The measured gain, $P_{1dB}$, and efficiency at $P_{1dB}$ are 29 dB, 28.1 dBm, and 37.9%, respectively. When the PA is tested with 54 Mbps of an 802.11g WLAN orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal, a 25-dB error vector magnitude compliant output power of 22 dBm and a 21.5% efficiency can be obtained.
This Paper described the hish performance position control for elevator using induction motor and driver. In this paper, the suitable Motor specifications for elevator drive are briefly discussed and high accuracy position control for both kinds of control method is analysed considering the parameter variation in the primary and secondary resistances. Since the pre-identified values of the motor constants are used to determine the control inputs, the performance degradation is caused by the parameter variation such as in the motor resistance. Particularly, the value of secondary resistance is considered significant because the control gain to determine the slip frequency is heavily dependent on that. The new proposed method uses on special small input signal for the parameter indentification and is expected to have the high accuracy position.

The purpose of this study was to propose a framework for developing test scenarios for issuance of conditional driver's licenses. The framework was composed of five stages. Initially, we reviewed the literature on traffic crash characteristics in terms of accident frequency and severity regarding the main factors of crashes caused by older drivers. In the second stage, the characteristics of crashes attributed to non-elderly, early elderly, and late elderly drivers were analyzed using data obtained from the Traffic Accident Analysis System (TAAS), and crash types for elderly drivers were derived. In the third stage, black box videos of high-risk crash types were analyzed to derive crash stories that described the circumstances in which crashes occurred. In the fourth step, crash situations were classified by rating the types of crash stories derived to develop various scenarios. Step 5 involved creating a scenario by applying the PEGASUS 5-Layer format, which has recently been used to develop test scenarios for autonomous vehicles. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for developing driving ability evaluation scenarios for the issuance of conditional driver's licenses.
