탄화규소(4H) 기판의 초고내압용 접합 장벽 쇼트키 다이오드의 특성 모델링 (Characteristics Modeling of Junction Barrier Schottky Diodes for ultra high breakdown voltage with 4H-SiC substrate)

  • 넓은 에너지 갭의 물질인 탄화규소(4H)기판을 사용하여, 초고내압을 위한 접합장벽 쇼트키 구조의 소자를 설계하여 제작하였다. 측정결과로써 소자의 역방향 I-V 특성은 1000V 이상의 항복전압을 보였고 p-grid의 설계 최적 길이는 $3{\mu}m$ 간격이였다. 이 연구에서는 제작한 소자의 공정 조건 파라미터들을 사용하여 I-V 특성을 모델링 하였고 I-V 특성 파라미터들을 추출하여 실제 소자 파라미터와 비교, 분석하였다.

Genetic diversity of the Asian shore crab, Hemigrapsus sanguineus, in Korea and Japan inferred from mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene

  • The genetic diversity and population history of the Asian shore crab, Hemigrapsus sanguineus, were investigated with a nucleotide sequence analysis of 536 base pairs (bp) of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene (COI) in 111 samples collected from four populations in Korea and one in Japan. In total, 28 haplotypes were defined by 27 variable nucleotide sites in the COI region examined. The observed haplotypes had a shallow haplotype genealogy and no geographical associations. Most of the populations had high haplotype diversity (0.656-0.788) and low nucleotide diversity (0.00165-0.00244), and significant negative values for Fu's $F_S$, suggesting rapid and recent population growth from an ancestral population and sudden population expansion. The pairwise fixation indices ($F_{ST}$) estimated with the exact test and the migration rates indicate that substantial gene flow occurs among these populations as a result of sea currents, except between the Yellow Sea coast of Korea (BUA) and the Pacific Ocean coast of Japan (JPA). These two populations (BUA and JPA) showed significant genetic differentiation and low migration rate.

Mg-Zn-Y(ZW61) 합금에서 Icosahedral 준결정상의 석출 (Precipitation of Icosahedral Qusicrystal Phase in Mg-Zn-Y(ZW61) alloy)

  • Precipitation of the ordered icosahedral quasicrystal in Mg-6wt%Zn-1wt%Y alloy has been characterized by transmission electron microscopy observations. The lamellar-type icosahedral qusicrystal phases (I-phase) with the face-centered icosahedral (FCI) structure are observed in alloy after solution treatment at $550^{\circ}C$. In the alloy annealed at $400^{\circ}C$, polygon-shaped I-phases are observed in the ${\alpha}$-Mg matrix. The interfaces of the I-phase with the matrix are facetted and the facets are on five-fold and two- fold plane of the I-phase. The orientation relationship of the I-phase with the matrix is determined to be $[I5]_I//[001]_{Mg}$, $(2f)_I//(2\overline{1}0)_{Mg}$ and $[I2]_I//[311]_{Mg}$, $(5f)_I//(0\overline{1}1)_{Mg}$. The icosahedral grains are occasionally found to be twinned with one of the five-fold axis as the twin axis. The twin boundaries appear to be fairly straight and perpendicular to the fivefold twin axis. The icosahedral twin can be expressed as a rotation of $63.4^{\circ}$ or $116.62^{\circ}$ around two fold zone axis.

  • A $X_4$형분자인 C $H_4$, Si $H_4$, Ge $H_4$, C $F_4$, Si $F_4$ 및 Ge $F_4$의 양자 또는 불소원자핵의 spin과 분자의 회전사이의 상호작용의 크기를 나타내는 spin-rotation constant $c_{av}$ 를 분자선자기공명방법에 의하여 실험적으로 결정하였다. 강자장근사에 의한 Hamiltonian 은 W $m_{I}$ $m_{J}$=- $g_{I}$ $m_{I}$H- $g_{J}$ $m_{J}$H- $C_{av}$ $m_{I}$ $m_{J}$로 주어지며, $c_{av}$ 는 C tensor의 trace의 3분지 1이 된다. 원자핵자기공오곡선은 v=- $g_{I}$H- $c_{av}$ $m_{J}$로 주어지는 여러개의 회전광공오선의 중첩으로 이룩되며, 전체곡선은 Gauss곡선으로 근사하여 $c_{av}$ 값을 구하였다. 회전공오선은 v= $g_{J}$H- $C_{av}$ $m_{I}$로 주어지며, $m_{I}$는 0, $\pm$1, $\pm$2의 값을 갖는다. $c_{av}$ 의 크기는 인접하는 두 회전공오곡선사이의 진동수치로서도 구할수 있다. 본실험에서 원자핵공오과 회전공오 공히 이용되였다. $c_{av}$ 의 부호는 분자선자기공오실험에서 쓰이는 방법으로서, 양자화되여서 불균일자장에서 분리된 분자선을 진행하는 방향의 좌측 또는 우측에서 부분적으로 차단하면서, 공오곡선의 변화를 보는것으로, 결정된 부호 와 $c_{av}$ 의 크기는 다음과 같다. C $H_4$; -10.3$\pm$0.4kHz Si $H_4$; +3.71$\pm$0.08kHz / Ge $H_4$; +3.79$\pm$0.13kHz C $F_4$; -6.81$\pm$0.08kHz / Si $F_4$; -2.46$\pm$0.06kHz Ge $F_4$; -1.84$\pm$0.04kHz

  • In this study e-map component was designed and developed to possibly overlay with all kinds of thematic maps in various scales and provide the all detailed information by using high-resolution satellite image and GIS. Also, this system has powerful map composition tool to display map such as legend, scale bar, index map and so on. For this, this e-map component was designed by using UML and developed based on Windows 2000 and implemented by using Visual Basic 6.0 as development programming language, Map Objects 2.1 of ESRI as GIS component. Through this system, the forest officials could generate more detailed topography and desired thematic map. In addition, the data consistency in DBMS could be maintained by using SDE (Spatial Database Engine) for their job and share the standard forest database with others in real time.

정상(正常) 한국인(韓國人) 혈청(血淸) 포도당(葡萄糖), Insulin 및 C-Peptide의 일중(日中) 변동(變動)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Diurnal Variations in Serum Glucose, Insulin and C-Peptide of Normal Korean Adults)

  • It is already well known that many factors are involved in maintaining normal blood glucose level. The amount and components of meal are also thought to be some of the factors which affect the blood glucose and insulin levels. It is reported that as for Koreans sugar takes up over 75% out of 2,098 kcal, the average daily calorie intake per adult. It implies that Koreans take a high-sugar diet compared with Westerners who take $40\sim50%$ of sugar out of their total average daily calorie. For the purpose of studying diurnal variations in serum glucose, insulin and C-peptide of normal Korean adults based on ordinary Korean diet, we selceted 13 normal Korean male adults and divided them into two groups, Group I (7 persons) and Group II (6 persons). We put Group I on 3,100kcal and 75% sugar diet, and Group II on 2,100 kcal and 69% sugar diet per day for over 4 days. Serum glucose, insulin and C-peptide were checked every 30 minutes or every hour throughout 24 hours. Results are as follows: 1. As for serum glucose level, in the prep ran dial fasting state in the morning, $mean{\pm}S.D.$ of Group I was $91.1{\pm}8.2mg%$, while that of Group II is $82.5{\pm}4.4mg%$. Both groups showed peaks of increased glucose level at postprandial 1 hour after each meal. The peak returned to the level shown during the fasting state at postprandial 1 hour after breakfast while the relatively high glucose levels were maintained respectively even for 2 or 3 hours.after lunch and dinner. 2. As for serum insulin level, Group showed $mean{\pm}S.D.$ of $14.7{\pm}3.0{\mu}U/ml$ while Group II shows that of $7.0{\pm}2.6{\mu}U/ml$ in the fasting state. Group I particularly showed the largest peak from preprandial a half or one and half an hour to postprandial one hour of lunch, and made relatively small peaks $(47.7{\pm}10.8{\mu}U/ml)$ at postorandial 1 hour after breakfast and dinner. No such large peak was marked in Group II, though it showed relatively similar patterns of peak after each meal. 3. As for C-peptide, in the fasting state, Group I and Group II showed $3.50{\pm}1.85$ and $1.66{\pm}0.53ng/ml$ of $mean{\pm}S.D.$, respectively. Group II showed peaks parallel to those for insulin level. None out of seven in Group I showed expected increase in C-peptide based insulin secretion at a half or one and half an hour before lunch. On the contrary, C-peptide increased in 5 subjects out of seven in Group I at 11:00 p.m. when insulin did not increase. 4. According to the integrated concentration method for a measurement of 24-hour total. insulin secretion rate, the $mean{\pm}S.D.$ of Group I was $76.4{\pm}15.2$ U and that of Group II was $58.6{\pm}21.1$ U. The above results confirm that Koreans, when given ordinary diet of 2,100 kcal and 69%, sugar, show insulin secretion pattern essentially similar to that of Westerners. On the contrary, when they are put on a high-calorie diet of 3,100 kcal a day, 75% of which is sugar, insulin secretion can be increased before lunch without increase in blood glucose. These results implies that insulin secretion can be affected by some other factors. The observation that an increase in C-peptide after 11 : 00 p.m. independent of insulin level supports an assertion that insulin secretion and C-peptide secretion can be thought as being physiologically dissociable, and these changes of diurnal patterns in the levels of serum insulin and C-peptide are thought to be resulted from the large meal and high-carbohydrate diet.

AlSiMg/TiC 복합 용사피막 : 마모 특성 (II) (Thermal Sprayed AlSiMg/TiC Composite Coatings : Wear Characteristics (II))

  • The wear behavior of thermal sprayed AlSiMg-40TiC composite coatings were studied as a function of load and sliding velocity under unlubricated conditions. Experiments were performed using a block-on-ring(WC-6wt%/Co, Hv 1500) type. The tests were carried out a various load(30∼ 125.5N) and sliding velocity(0.5∼2.0m/s). Three wear rate regions were observed in the AlSiMg-40TiC composite coatings. The wear rate in region I at low load (less then 8N( were less than 1×{TEX}$10^{-5}${/TEX}㎣/m. Low wear rates in region I resulted from the load-bearing capacity of TiC particles. The transition from region I to II occurred when the applied load exceeded the fracture and pull-out strength of the particles. The TiC fractured particles trapped between the specimen and the counterface acted as third-body abrasive wear. The subsurface layer worn surface in region II was composed of the mechanically mixed layer (MML). The wear rate increase abruptly above a critical load (region III). The high wear rate in region III was induced by frictional temperature and involves massive surface damage.

Effect of high temperature on the bond performance between steel bars and recycled aggregate concrete

  • The use of recycled aggregate concrete for the purpose of environmental and resource conservation has gained increasing interest in construction engineering. Nevertheless, few studies have reported on the bonding performance of the bars in recycled aggregate concrete after exposed to high temperatures. In this paper, 72 pull-out specimens and 36 cubic specimens with different recycled coarse aggregate content (i.e., 0%, 50%,100%) were cast to evaluate the bond behavior between recycled aggregate concrete and steel bar after various temperatures ($20^{\circ}C$, $200^{\circ}C$, $400^{\circ}C$, $600^{\circ}C$). The results show that the recycled aggregate concrete pull-out specimens exhibited similar bond stress-slip curves at both ambient and high temperature. The bond strength declined gradually with the increase of the temperature. On the basis of a regression analysis of the experimental data, a revised bond strength mode and peak slip ratios relationship model were proposed to predict the post-heating bond-slip behavior between recycled aggregate concrete and steel bar.

HDR 영상 렌더링을 위한 적응적 표준 편차를 이용한 자동 레인지 고속 양방향 필터 (An Auto-range Fast Bilateral Filter Using Adaptive Standard Deviation for HDR Image Rendering)

  • 본 논문에서는 iCAM06의 HDR (High Dynamic Range) 영상 렌더링을 위한 적응적 표준 편차를 이용한 자동레인지 고속 양방향 필터 (auto-range fast bilateral filter, FBF)를 제안한다. 다양한 노출 시간으로 촬영한 여러영상들은 전체 다이나믹 레인지를 포함한 한 장의 HDR 영상으로 만들어진다. HDR 영상 렌더링의 대표적인 알고리즘은 iCAM06이며, 이는 국부 백색 적응 (local white point adaptation), 색 순응 (color adaptation), 및 영상 처리 변환 (image processing transformation, IPT) 같은 iCAM 구조를 기초로 한다. iCAM06의 고속 양방향 필터는 레인지 필터에서 고정 표준 편차를 사용한다. 이는 넓고 낮은 분포를 가지는 고 자극치 영역에서 불필요한 고속 양방향 필터 계산의 원인이 된다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 XYZ 각 자극치 영상을 경계값에 의해 저 자극치 영상 및 고 자극치 영상으로 나눈 후, 각 자극치 영역에 대하여 히스토그램 분포에 기초한 가변 표준 편차를 이용한다. 실험 결과에서 제안한 방법이 기존의 고속 양방향 필터보다 계산 속도가 개선되었음을 확인하였다.
