A total loss of all heat sinks is considered a severe accident with a low probability of occurrence. Following a total loss of all heat sinks, the degasser/condenser relief valves (DCRV) become the sole means available for the depressurization of the primary heat transport system. If a nuclear power plant has a total loss of heat sinks accident, high-temperature steam and differential pressure between the primary heat transport system (PHTS) and the steam generator (SG) secondary side can cause a SG tube creep rupture. To protect the PHTS during a total loss of all heat sinks accident, a sufficient depressurization capability of the degasser/condenser relief valve and the SG tube integrity is very important. Therefore, an accurate estimation of the discharge through these valves is necessary to assess the impact of the PHTS overprotection and the SG tube integrity of the primary circuit. This paper describes the analysis of DCRV discharge capacity and the SG tube integrity under a total loss of all heat sink using the CATHENA code. It was found that the DCRV's discharge capacity is enough to protect the overpressure in the PHTS, and the SG tube integrity is maintained in a total loss of all heat accident.
Many researchers have studied on the precipitation control after solution treatment to improve the damping capacity without decreasing the strength. However, studies on the damping capacity and microstructure changes after deformation in the solid solution strengthening alloys were inadequate, such as the Al-Zn series magnesium alloys. Therefore, in order to investigate the effect of annealing condition on microstructure change and damping a capacity of AZ61 magnesium alloy. In this study, it was confirmed that the microstructure changes affect the damping capacity and hardness when annealed AZ61 alloy. AZ61 magnesium alloy was rolled at $400^{\circ}C$ with rolling reduction of 30%. These specimens were annealed at $350^{\circ}C$ to $450^{\circ}C$ for 30-180 minutes. After annealing, microstructure was observed by using optical microscopy, and damping capacity was measured by using internal friction measurement machine. Hardness was measured by Vickers hardness tester under a condition of 0.3 N. In this study, static recrystallization was observed regardless of the annealing conditions. In addition, uniform equiaxed grain structure was developed by annealing treatment. Hardness is decreased with increasing grain size. This is associated with Hall-Petch equation and static recrystallization. In case of damping capacity, bigger grain size show the larger damping capacity.
Mixtures type PCM, $H_2O$-NaOH that has relatively large capacity of the latent heat and long duration of phase change temperature was developed and experimentally analyzed for the low temperature storage of the food and medical products. The results could be summarized as follows; 1. Borax as nucleating agent and acrylic polymer as thickening agent were added to $H_2O$ to prevent the supercooling and phase separation. 2. Phase change (solid$\leftrightarrows$liquid) duration of $H_2O$ added with NaOH was prolonged longer 50% than that of pure $H_2O$. 3. Phase change temperature of the latent heat material, $H_2O$-NaOH was $1.5\sim2^{\circ}C$ the maximum latent Heat was 279 kJ/kg at the NaOH addition of 1.3 wt.%. 4. The specific heat of $H_2O$-NaOH at the solid and liquid state was increased in proportion to the wt.% of NaOH, when NaOH of $1.15\sim1.60$ wt.% was added to $H_2O$, the specific heat of the solid state was increased from 3.19 kJ/kg to 5.84 kJ/kg and that of liquid state from 7.8 kJ/kg to 10.28 kJ/kg. 5. When NaOH of $1.15\sim1.60$ wt.% was added to $H_2O$, the total heat storage capacity composed of sensible and latent heat was $313\sim331.3$ kJ/kg and the maximum heat storage capacity was occurred at NaOH addition of 1.30 wt. %.

Many standards have Published for calculating of current carrying capacity for bare overhead conductors. Although these standards use the same basic heat balance concept, they use different approaches to calculate current carrying capacity, This paper looks at the four approaches used to calculate individual heat balance terms, at the overall impact of these terms on the current carrying capacity And this paper is proposed to the selection of proper standard and AC resistance within a country conditions for calculating the current carrying capacity of bare overhead conductors. So current carrying capacities are Proposed to some of conductors.
Influences of aluminum carbide ($Al_4C_3$) addition on microstructure and damping capacity of Mg-3%Al casting alloy have been investigated based on experimental results of optical micrography, scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive spectrometry analysis and damping capacity measurement at RT. The addition of $Al_4C_3$ particles results in an efficient grain refinement. The damping capacity shows an increasing tendency with an increase in $Al_4C_3$ content. The damping value associated with $Al_4C_3$ particles is linearly dependent on the volume fraction of $Al_4C_3$ particles to the 2/3 power, $f_{2/3}$, which corresponds to the total surface area of the particles.
Change in damping capacity with strain amplitude was studied in Mg-Al-Si alloy in as-cast, solution-treated and aged states, respectively. The as-cast microstructure of the alloy is characterized by eutectic ${\beta}$($Mg_{17}Al_{12}$) phase and Chinese script type $Mg_2Si$ particles. The solution treatment dissolved the ${\beta}$ phase into the matrix, while the aging treatment resulted in the distribution of continuous and discontinuous type ${\beta}$ precipitates. The solution-treated microstructure showed better damping capacity than as-cast and aged microstructures both in strain-dependent and strain-independent damping regions. The decrease in second-phase particles which weakens the strong pinning points on dislocations and distribution of solute atoms in the matrix, would be responsible for the enhanced damping capacity after solution treatment.
In this study, effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and damping capacity of hot rolled magnesium alloys was investigated. The microstructure of hot rolled magnesium consisted of dendrite structure and $Mg_{17}Al_{12}$ compounds precipitated along the grain boundry. The dendrite structure was dissipated and $Mg_{17}Al_{12}$ compounds was decomposed by annealing treatment, and then they dissolved in ${\alpha}-Mg$. With an increasing the annealing temperature and time, damping capacity was slowly increased by the growth of grain size and decreasing of defects induced by hot rolling. Two kinds of magnesium alloys AZ 31 and AZ 61 after annealing showed no difference in damping capacity.
Statement of problems. The heat produced during polymerization of polymer-based provisional materials may cause thermal damage to the vital pulp. Purpose. This study was performed to evaluate the exotherm reaction of the polymerbased provisional materials during polymerization by differential scanning calorimetry and to compare the temperature changes of different types of resins. Material and methods. Three dimethacrylate-based materials (Protemp 3 Garant, Luxatemp Plus, Luxatemp Fluorescence) and five monomethacrylate- based material (Snap, Alike, Unifast TRAD, Duralay, Jet) were selected. Temperature changes of polymer-based provisional materials during polymerization in this study were evaluated by D.S.C Q-1000 (TA Instrument, Wilmington, DE, USA). The following three measurements were determined from the temperature versus time plot: (1) peak temperature, (2) time to reach peak temperature, (3) heat capacity. The data were statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison Bonferroni test at the significance level of 0.05. Results. The mean peak temperature was $39.5^{\circ}C({\pm}\;1.0)$. The peak temperature of the polymer-based provisional materials decreased in the following order: Duralay > Unifast TRAD, Alike > Jet > Luxatemp Plus, Protemp 3 Garant, Snap, Luxatemp Fluorescence. The mean time to reach peak temperature was 95.95 sec $({\pm}\;64.0)$. The mean time to reach peak temperature of the polymer-based provisional materials decreased in the following order: Snap, Jet > Duralay > Alike > Unifast TRAD > Luxatemp Plus, Protemp 3 Garant, Luxatemp Fluorescence. The mean heat capacity was 287.2 J/g $({\pm}\;107.68)$. The heat capacity of the polymer-based provisional materials decreased in the following order: Duralay > TRAD, Jet, Alike > Snap, Luxatemp Fluorescence, Protemp 3 Garant, Luxatemp Plus. Conclusion. The heat capacity of materials, determined by D.S.C., is a factor in determining the thermal insulating properties of restorative materials. The peak temperature of PMMA was significantly higher than others (PEMA, dimethacrylate). No significant differences were found among PEMA (Snap) and dimethacrylate (P >0.05). The time to reach peak temperature was greatest with PEMA, followed by PMMA and dimethacrylate. The heat capacity of PMMA was significantly higher than others (PEMA, dimethacrylate). No significant differences were found among PEMA and dimethacrylate (P >0.05).

A revised VX cycle using ammonia/water as the working fluid is a cycle which is suitable to produce cooling utilizing low temperature hat sources. The cycle was analyzed numerically to investigate the effects of the design and operating conditions on the performance. It was shown that both COP and cooling capacity were significantly influenced by the performance of he rectifier. Insufficient UA of the rectifier reduced both ammonia mass fraction and mass flow rate of the vapor entering the condenser, which produced cooling effect in the evaporator. As the temperature and the mass flow rate of the heat source increased, both COP and exergetic efficiency decreased due to the irreversibilities produced in heat exchangers, but cooling capacity did not vary much. Cooling capacity increased significantly as the coolant temperature decreased, although COP and exergetic efficiency remained nearly constant.
