  • The plan for Shinseon Seolleongtang Restaurant in Kimpo has as its goal to create an environment strongly fused with the design of the modern city and the spirit of food culture craftsmanship, and it proceeded as follows. In order to carry out the goal of the plan, the direction of the design concept was set to be a harmonious blending of Ecology and Minimal. Also, for detailed plan direction, in the Minimal domain, conciseness, cleanliness, and high quality were established as the ultimate goals in order to create a spacious food and drink area in today's complicated and energy-draining society, and in the Ecology domain, ancient hieroglyphs representing the forms of natural objects were used that prayed for years of plentiful harvest and blessing, and colorfully expressed the events of the populace.

하구환경의 생태적 설계 (Ecological Design of Estuarine Environment)

  • An Ecocomplex is proposed for ecological design of the estuarine environment of Han River, which is designed upon an alternative mamagement concept of estuarine environment. The concept reveals interrelationships among estuary, delta region and urban inland with inputs/outputs and feedbacks among them. The Ecocomplex emphasizes an integration of wastewater treatment with aquaculture, agriculture and recreation, and carries out ecological treatment, recycling, and harvest processes. A module of wastewater treatment pond system is employed in the Ecocomplex, which treats a flow of 3,786 ㎥/day and is composed of a four-facultative-pond series. Treatment ponds stabilize wastewater discharged from the urban area, and concurrently produce algae for commercial or recreational fish farming. Effluent from treatment and fish ponds is reused for agricultural production. Through the waste-algae-fish-vegetable-recreation processes, wastewater from the urban settlement is recycled back to the urban ecosystem. This resource-conserving design approach can maintain a sustainable urban ecosystem, managing an estuarine environment more naturally, healthly, and economically.

  • Large scalp defects resulting from high-voltage electrical burns require free flaps, preferably skin, to permit optimal coverage and enable future or simultaneous cranial vault reconstruction. The anterolateral thigh permits the harvest of a large area of skin supplied by a reliable perforator. The superficial temporal vessels offer the proximate choice of recipient vessels to enable adequate reach and coverage. The lack of a second vein at this site implies the inability to perform a second venous anastomosis; however, this obstacle can be overcome by using an interposition vein graft, to the neck veins primarily. This assures adequate venous drainage and complete flap survival.

  • The majority of product users rely on the reviews that are posted on the appropriate website. Both users and the product's manufacturer could benefit from these reviews. Daily, thousands of reviews are submitted; how is it possible to read them all? Sentiment analysis has become a critical field of research as posting reviews become more and more common. Machine learning techniques that are supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised have worked very hard to harvest this data. The complicated and technological area of feature engineering falls within machine learning. Using deep learning, this tedious process may be completed automatically. Numerous studies have been conducted on deep learning models like LSTM, CNN, RNN, and GRU. Each model has employed a certain type of data, such as CNN for pictures and LSTM for language translation, etc. According to experimental results utilizing a publicly accessible dataset with reviews for all of the models, both positive and negative, and CNN, the best model for the dataset was identified in comparison to the other models, with an accuracy rate of 81%.

Analysis of Feed Value and Usability of Soybean Varieties as Livestock Forage

  • This experiment was conducted to evaluate feed value and usability of soybean varieties as livestock forage. In this study, three soybean cultivars, OT93-26, Geomjeongsaeol, and Pungwon, were harvested at R5 (beginning seed development)- and R6 (full seed)-reproductive stages for analyzing feed value of soybean. Days to R5 stage harvest of OT93-26 among the three soybean cultivars was 55 days and the shortest while Pungwon took 103 days to reach at R6 stage. The R6-harvested soybeans had higher dry matter (DM) yields and crude protein (CP) content than the R5-harvested. However, both DM and CP were the highest in the R6-harvested Geomjeongsaeol. Contents of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and acid detergent fiber (ADF) of Pungwon harvested at R5 were the highest whereas the R6-harvested Geomjeongsaeol had the lowest. Digestible dry matter (DDM), dry matter intake (DMI), and relative feed value (RFV) of the R6-harvested Geomjeongsaeol and Pungwon were higher than those of the R5-harvested, but in case of OT93-26, those at R6 stage were low rather than those at R5 stage. However, soybean could be used as alternative forage with high feed value for livestock. Taken together, Geomjeongsaeol could be used for developing new forage soybean varieties with high feed value, and R6 would be the optimum harvesting stage for yield and quality of forage soybean.

확률밀도함수를 이용한 목재수확조절법 연구 (Study on Timber Yield Regulation Method using Probability Density Function)

  • 본 연구는 확률밀도함수를 이용한 목재수확예측기법으로 면적가중치법(AW), 면적비율가중치법(ARW), 표본면적변화율가중치법(SCRW)를 적용하여 전국 국유림의 산림경영계획 목표량 설정을 위한 벌채계획량을 추정하였다. 벌채계획량 추정을 위한 산림면적은 산림기본통계의 2010년, 2015년의 영급별 국유림면적을 이용하였으며, 5년간의 산림면적변화량을 벌채면적으로 가정하여 산출하였다. AW, ARW, SCRW를 이용한 벌기령의 평균은 각각 5.41, 5.56, 5.37로 V~VI영급수준으로 산출되었다. 벌채면적은 각각 594,462 ha, 586,704 ha, 580,852 ha로 SCRW가 실제 면적변화량과 가장 유사하였으며, Chi-square 검정도 SCRW이 가장 안정적으로 분석되었다. 산림경영계획의 목재수확예측을 위한 방법으로 SCRW가 AW와 ARW보다 적합한 것으로 판단된다.

Comparison of Methane Emissions by Rice Ecotype in Paddy Soil

  • South Korea greenhouse gas emissions have increased year by year, resulting in a total emission of 727.6 million tons of CO2 eq in 2018, a 2.5% increase compared to 2017. Among them, the agricultural sector emitted 21.2 million tons of CO2 eq., accounting for 2.9% of the total. Among the greenhouse gases emitted from the agricultural sector, a particularly problematic is methane gas emitted from rice paddies. Methane is one of the important greenhouse gases with a global warming potential (GWP) that is about 21 times higher than that of carbon dioxide due to its high infrared absorption capacity despite its relatively short remaining atmospheric period. Since the pattern of methane generation varies depending on the rice variety and ecological type, research related to this is necessary for accurate emission calculation and development of reduction technology. Accordingly, a study was conducted to find out the changes in greenhouse gas emission according to rice varieties and ecology types. As for the rice eco-type cultivar, early maturing cultivar (Haedamssal) and medium-late rice cultivar (Saeilmi) were used. Haedamssal was transplanted on May 25 and June 25, and Saeilmi was transplanted on June 10 and June 25. The amount of methane generated according to the growing day showed a tendency to increase as the planting period was earlier. The difference between varieties was that Haedamssal showed higher methane production than Saeilmi. The total CH4 flux in the saeilmi was 18.7 kg·h-1(Jun 10 transplanting), 12.4 kg·h-1(Jun 25 transplanting) during rice cultivation. Lower methane emission was observed in Saeilmi than in Haedam rice. In addition, the earlier the planting period, the higher the methane emission. This study is the result of the first year of research, and it is planned to investigate the amount of greenhouse gas emission between double cropping and single cropping using wheat cultivation after harvest for each ecological type.

남부 평야지에서 생산된 유색미 품종별 항산화 성분 및 활성 비교 (Comparison of Antioxidant Components and Antioxidant Activities of Colored Rice Varieties (Oryza sativa L.) Cultivated in Southern Plain)

  • 남부 평야지에서 생산된 유색미의 품종별 항산화 성분으로 총폴리페놀, 총플라보노이드 및 안토시아닌을 분석하고 항산화 활성을 측정한 결과를 비교하였다. 총폴리페놀 함량은 흑미> 적미> 녹미 순이었고, 흑미 중에서도 흑진주, 조은흑미, 신토흑미 등이 높았다. 총플라보노이드 함량은 유색미 종류에 따른 차이보다는 품종별로 차이가 있었다. 흑진주와 홍진주, 건강홍미 등이 높은 결과를 나타내었다. 안토시아닌 함량은 적미와 녹미에서는 나타나지 않았고, 흑미에서는 신토흑미, 흑진주, 청풍흑찰 순으로 높은 결과를 보였다. ABTS 라디칼 소거능은 흑진주의 $IC_{50}$ 값이 낮아 항산화 활성이 높았고, 신토흑미, 신농흑찰, 홍진주, 적진주, 조생흑찰 등이 높았다. DPPH 라디칼 소거능에서는 흑진주의 $IC_{50}$ 값이 가장 낮았고, 건강홍미, 신토흑미가 다음으로 낮은 $IC_{50}$ 값을 보여 항산화 활성이 높았다. 총폴리페놀, 총플라보노이드, 안토시아닌 함량이 높은 흑미인 흑진주는 가장 높은 항산화 활성을 나타내었다. 총폴리페놀과 총플라보노이드 함량이 낮은 녹미는 흑미와 적미에 비해 유의하게 항산화 활성이 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구에서 분석한 총폴리페놀, 총플라보노이드, 안토시아닌과 ABTS DPPH 라디칼 소거능에서 측정한 $IC_{50}$ 값과는 높은 부의 상관관계를 보이므로 항산화 성분과 항산화 활성은 상관관계가 높았다.

고착협 내탈립 기계수확 적응 장류·두부용 콩 품종 '새금' (Adaptability of the high first pod height, shattering-resistant soybean cultivar 'Saegeum' to mechanized harvesting)

  • '새금'은 '대풍'을 모본, SS98207-3SSD-168를 부본으로 2003년 인공교배하여 계통육종법에 의하여 개발된 품종이다. 2009~2010년 생산력검정시험에서 수량을 검정하고 표준품종 대비 9% 증수되어 '밀양232호'의 계통명을 부여한 후 2011~2013년 12개소에서 지역적응시험을 실시한 결과 내탈립성, 내도복성이 강하고 착협고가 높아 기계수확에 적합한 초형으로 평가되어 2013년 농작물 직무육성 심의위원회에 상정하여 '새금'으로 명명하고 차년도 신품종 출원 및 국가품종목록등재 과정을 거쳤다. '새금'은 유한신육형, 화색이 백색, 종실은 종피와 제색이 황색이면서 모양이 구형인 장류 및 두부용 콩 품종이다. 개화기가 8월 2일, 성숙기가 10월 17일로 만생종이며 경장은 '대원콩' 보다 9 cm크며 주경절수가 16개로 많고, 백립중이 25.4 g인 특성을 지니고 있다. 불마름병과 콩모자이크바이러스는 자연이병포장에서 강한 것으로 조사되었으며 내도복성과 내탈립성 또한 강해 재배에 안정적이다. 두부가공적성은 '대원콩'과 비슷한 것으로 평가되었다. 수량성은 지역적응시험 결과 전북·전남·경북·경남 등 적응지역 평균 3.02 ton ha-1로 '대원콩'과 대등하다. '새금'은 착협고가 18 cm로 높고 분지가 적은 초형에 도복에 강하고 내탈립성이 매우 강해 기계수확 적응성이 높은 품종이다.

  • '아람'은 보석(IT213209)과 Camp (IT267356)를 모본으로 2007년 인공교배 하여 F1, F2 분리집단을 전개하고 F3-F4 세대는 세계 채소 센터(AVRDC, Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center)에서 세대촉진을 수행하고 F5 세대에서 계통을 선발하였다. 2012년~2013년 생산력검정시험을 통해 수량과 농업적 형질을 평가하고, 2014~2016년 수원, 나주, 달성, 제주에서 지역적응시험을 수행하여 지역별 적응성과 재배 안정성을 평가하였다. 아람은 유한신육형이며 엽형이 삼각형, 화색이 백색, 모용색이 회색, 협색은 황색이며 종실은 소립 구형으로 백립중이 9.9 g으로 풍산나물콩보다 1.0 g 가볍고 종피색은 황색, 배꼽색은 담갈색의 질적 특성을 가지고 있다. 개화기는 8월 5일, 성숙기는 10월 15일로 만숙종이며 풍산나물콩 보다 7일 느리다. 경장은 65 cm, 착협고는 13 cm, 마디수는 16개, 분지수는 4.5개이며 분지가 길고 각도가 작은 도원추형 초형이다. 내병성 검정결과 불마름병, 종자 이병립율, 검은뿌리 썩음병, 콩나방 저항성 등이 모두 강하였으며, 콩모자이크바이러스는 G5, G6H, G7H 접종 시 모자이크 증상이 나타났으나 3년간의 자연 이병 검정결과에서는 병징이 조사되지 않았다. 발아특성은 발아세와 발아율 모두 풍산나물콩보다 우수하였으며 콩나물 특성은 풍산나물콩과 비슷한 수준이었다. 수량성은 지역적응시험 결과 남부지역 평균 3.59 ton/ha로 풍산나물콩 대비 12% 증수되었다.
