Both telecommunications standardization activities and an intellectual property rights (IPRs) system are regarded as effective mechanisms for improving social benefits. Because of inherent conflicts that exist between the two, however, serious problems are generated in the international arena where the competition for technology development and markets is becoming increasingly fierce. In this paper, ways of harmonizing the relationship between the two are explored and explained. For this purpose, telecommunications standardization and IPRs protection mechanisms are described, and their positive and negative effects as well as their inter-relationship are also analyzed. In addition, IPR case studies related to international standardization are explained and analyzed. The Current status and problems of IPRs policy of major international standardization organizations are analyzed as well. Finally, based on the results of the analyses, viable policy recommendations and research strategies for more comprehensive study of the above problems are proposed.

Objective : There were few reports on the treatment of 'Intestinal pseudoobstruction secondary to Transverse Myelitis'. This study about the Oriental medical treatment conducted on the 'Intestinal pseudoobstruction secondary to Transverse Myelitis' shows the possibility of healing 'Intestinal pseudoobstruction secondary to Transverse Myelitis'. Methods : The acupuncture and herbal medicine therapies were applied for improving the function of stomach & spleen and harmonizing energy & blood. Results : After treatments, the symptoms (abdominal pain, vomiting, constipation, oral intake unable) of 'Intestinal pseudoobstruction secondary to Transverse Myelitis' were improved. Conclusion : The more study about the Oriental medical treatment and conception on 'Intestinal pseudoobstruction secondary to Transverse Myelitis' is needed.

Investigating students' lived mathematical experiences presents dual challenges for the researcher. On the one hand, we must respect that students' experiences are not directly accessible to us and are likely very different from our own experiences. On the other hand, we might not want to rely upon the students' own characterizations of what constitutes mathematics because these characterizations could be limited to the formal products students learn in school. I suggest a characterization of mathematics as objectified action, which would lead the researcher to focus on students' operations-mental actions organized as objects within structures so that they can be acted upon. Teachers' and researchers' models of these operations and structures can be used as a launching point for understanding students' experiences of mathematics. Teaching experiments and clinical interviews provide a means for the teacher-researcher to infer students' available operations and structures on the basis of their physical activity (including verbalizations) and to begin harmonizing with their mathematical experience.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the internal and external line beauty of men's dress of the Chosun period from the views of dress design and dress aesthetics. 1) External Line Beauty of Men's Dress of the Chosun Period ① Functional Beauty : Having the beauty of functional line in terms of convenience, action, effectiveness, practivce and sanitation. ② Structural Beauty : Having the beauty harmonizing between lines of internal and external structures. ③ Ornamental Beauty : Having the beauty of simple line by matching accessories (gat, fan, sejodae, shoes) with a simple dress. ④ Wearing Beauty : Making tall-looking or expressing a mature masculine beauty by a visual mistake caused by a combination of internal and external structural beauty lines. 2) Internal Line Beauty of Men's Dress of the Chosun Period Including a simple but natural beauty based on natural philosophy, the beauty of courtesy emphasizing official hat and dress and the beauty of dress having aesthetic consciousness with which people enjoy an idyllic life.

This paper proposes an algorithm that enables mobile nodes to implement self-regulated movements in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). It is important for mobile nodes to maintain a certain level of network-based stability by harmonizing these nodes' movements autonomously due to their limited transmission range and dynamic topology. Entropy methods based on relative position are suggested, as a means for mobile nodes to regulate their local movements. Simulations show that an early warning mechanism is suitable to maintain movement-based stability. Isolation can be reduced by 99%, with an increased network cost of 12% higher power consumption, using the proposed algorithm.

1. It is man that plays a important role in doing harm to ecology. So human ought to understand ecology and develop their mind considering a ecology through practicing Noble eightfold Path(入正道) austerities. 2. With a view of traditional Korean medicine, it is accomplished the circulation between human and heaven and earth by Qi. And then these are inter-transformed essence, Qi and spirit and carry out unification themselves by coexisting with university. 3. I consider 'Well-being' is man-centered thinking countering to the view of ecology. Then the health of body and spirit is accomplished through the life harmonizing with nature incidentally. 4. It is need for realizing that man and nature have the mercy of Buddha in order to purify a ecosystem and our human society through practicing austerities and meditation. 5. Spirit is regarded as the important thing on Buddhism and traditional Korean medicine based on Orientalism. The purification of human mind is very important for maintaining of a ecosystem through practicing austerities and meditation.

In the 21 st century, broadcasting, communication, and computer have been integrated due to the development of digital technology. Accordingly, to overcome the limit of respective communication media and to maintain them, their independent area shall not be classified. This study is to examine the future environment of digital TV broadcasting, to analyze customizing type service and interactive type TV technology, and to make asymmetric interactive digital TV publication broadcasting system, which is TV broadcasting in the next generation to treat visual image, sound, and various data all together by harmonizing broadcasting and communication like ISDB(Integrate Service Digital Broadcasting). In addition, to develop service on publication broadcasting with high quality, this study is tn propose to develop relative devices for TV/PC reception to realize a new communication type TV publication broadcasting, by analyzing technology for producing, sending, transmitting, receiving, and saving to apply to customizing type interactive system and by examining its application.

The study on prevention measures for vibration and excavation of tunnel for the #3, #4, Seoul Subway. In the Seoul subway tunnel blasting, the drilling pattern and prevention method to seismic vibration are as follows as well as for adaptions of NATM, the supportings of roof and wall holes are arranged with control blasting. 1. The blasting is executed basically using the low velocity explosive such as slurry, Nitrate ammonium explosive, and F-I and F-II explosive for control blasting substituting of existing dynamite. 2. The cut holes are arranged with burn cut pattern and also must be arranged with M/S electrical delay caps substituting of ordinary do]ay caps. 3. Jack leg drills are used in Five Job sites and a jumbo drill in one job site. 4. In performance of safety work and in maintenance of building safety. The drilling length for blasting will not exceed 1.20 meter for round so that the vibration value shall carry below 0.3cm/sec. The harmonizing of better powder, better drilling machine and better technique is only the way of improving tunnelling efficiency and less vibration will help the dereasing of accidence.

"Saikdong" is a material that represents the Korean aesthetic behavioral pattern of colors. It shows the unique harmony of the color combination with the use of simple combined colors. The objective of this paper is two-folded. First, it is to explore the direction of Korean Design. Secondly, it is to find out aesthetic charateristics and consciousness in Saikdong. 17 traditional costumes made with the designs of Saikdong were selected from three museums in Seoul. The most properly matched color hues selected after comparing each color with the Pantone Textile Color Specifier. The results were shown as follows. 1. Korean design is to recreate the traditional objects considering the contemporary circumstances. 2. Contrast effects in lightness and saturation are very noticeable in Saikdong. Saikdong maintains the same widths of color stripes with the asymmetric balance of hues which give the rhythmical arrangement of colors. 3. Sikdong contains the shamanic wishes that everything is going well and the desire for the beauty. 4. The aesthetic consciousness of Saikdong has turned out to be happiness and harmonizing.rmonizing.
