  • Lightweight body due to the decrease of panel thickness and reinforcing member might cause low stiffness. On the other hand, high stiffness body requires an increase of mass. Front pillar section area has been decreased for increasing the driver's visual field. Global vehicle stiffness is affected by stiffness distribution ratio between upper part and lower part at a side body structure. This paper describes a process used to evaluate the stiffness distribution ratio based on strain energy. In addition, optimum design schemes are presented for high stiffness and lightweight body structure considering the investigated stiffness distribution ratio.

  • We can sec the case of hand injury patient in the industry field. Hand injury has more particularity than other injury cases. Because it is densely a lot of muscle, tendon, bone, vessels, and in progressing speedily to fibrosis, adhesion, stiffness than other joints. If it has baud injury, it is important to the physical therapy in early stage after operation. Otherwise, it is difficult to recover the function. Hand malfunction intimately has to do with the return to work and the grade of disability. There are many different hand injury cases but, we want to investigate several cases. : fracture. joint injury, tendon injury, and want to looking for treatment tine and method about these. So, we'll understand hand injury of industry disaster. and acknowledge of the importance of physical therapy in the early stage through these.

감즙처리가 견직물의 태에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Persimmon Juice Treatment on Hand Values of the Silk Organza)

  • Silk organza can make the silhouette of clothes bulky and rich, owing to its stiffness. And silk organza in the gum has better dyeability so can be dyed more bright and deeper color than scoured silk because silk organza has sericin gum that has better dyeability than fibroin. So, silk organza came into the most broad use as the material for Hanbok, especially in summer. But the silk organza has poor color fastness. Sericin is removed from organza when silk organza go through scouring. The purpose of this research is to find out the optimum conditions that the scoured silk fabrics can get stiffness by persimmon juice treatment. For experiments, non scoured, partially scoured and fully scoured silk fabrics were prepared by alkali treatments. Then 3 kinds of silk fabrics were treated with the concentration of 1, 5, 10, 50 and 100% of persimmon Juice. The change of fiber surface of the various silk fabrics were observed By SEM. The hand values of those fabric samples also were measured hand values by Kawabata Evaluation System and stiffness by Cantilaver method. By scouring, the silk organza got more flexibility and less cohesiveness between their fibers. And it can be a little more bulky by removing gum. Namely, silk organza lost its unique stiff and crisp handle. By the persimmon juice treatment, tannin component could be coated on the fiber surface. so that the stiffness of the fabrics were improved.

Comparison analysis of rescuer's neck muscle tone and stiffness according to cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill-level

  • 이 연구의 목적은 가슴압박소생술(cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR)의 숙련도에 따른 목근육에 근긴장도와 근경직 차이를 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상자는 20대 여학생 30명으로 숙련자군과 비숙련자군 각각 15명이었다. 연구결과, 숙련자군은 가슴압박 수행 후 손잡기(hand grip)의 위손쪽 아랫목근육의 근경직과 위등세모근의 근긴장도가 유의하게 감소되었다(p<.05). 비숙련자군은 가슴압박 후 양쪽 위등세모근의 근긴장도와 근경직이 모두 유의하게 감소되었지만(p<.05) 연구군 간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 그리고, 비숙련자군은 숙련자군과 비교하여 가슴압박 수행 후 평균압박속도, 총압박횟수, 가슴압박 정확도, 가슴이완 정확도가 유의하게 낮았다(p<.05). 이 연구를 통해 가슴압박은 수행자의 목근육에 근생리학적 영향을 미치지만, CPR 숙련도에 따른 차이는 없으며, 숙련도는 CPR 정확성에 중요한 요소인 것을 확인하였다.

동적 및 정적 실험 방법으로 평가한 지반의 초기 강성 비교 (Comparison of dynamic and static methods in the measurement of the initial stiffness of soil)

  • A comparative study on dynamic and static measurement of initial stiffness was conducted. Because soil stiffness decreases even at very small strains, the initial stiffness has been measured by dynamic tests using shear wave velocity measurement. On the other hand, due to the advance of local strain measurement, the triaxial testing device is capable of measuring the static initial stiffness. It has been known that initial stiffness measured by static triaxial tests is generally lower than that measured by dynamic tests possibly due to the limitation of static measurement of displacement at very small strains. This study presents experimental results indicating that the elastic shear moduli could be the same both in dynamic and static measurements owing to the soil anisotropy induced by anisotropic stresses.

감즙 염색에 의한 면직물의 역학적 특성과 표면형태 (Mechanical Properties and Surface Morphology of Cotton Fabrics Dyed with Persimmon Juice)

  • For development of dyeability, the cotton fabric was dyed repeatedly with persimmon juice by padding mangle. We evaluated the mechanical properties and hand value by Kawabata Evaluation System, and observed the change of surface morphology. The results obtained from this study were as follows. With the increase of repeating padding times of dyeing, the linearity of load-extension curve and tensile energy per unit length of the cotton fabric were increased, but the tensile resilience of fabric was decreased. The value of shear stiffness and shear hysteresis were increased. Also compression resilience and linearity of compression thickness curve were increased. The cotton fabric dyed with persimmon juice had shown the thickness and weight increase as the number of padding increase. As repeating times of dyeing with persimmon juice were increased, among the 6 hand values, the item of stiffness, anti-drape stiffness, fullness and softness were increased, while flexibility with soft feeling and crispness were greatly decreased. The amount of coated persimmon juice on the surface of the fabric was gradually increased as the padding times of dyeing. And cotton fabrics were dyed evenly with persimmon juice by padding mangle.

객관적 수법에 의한 모직물의 태의 평가와 설계에의 응용 (Objective Hand Evaluation of Wool Fabrics and Application to Fabric Design)

  • In this study, we attempted to expect the mechanical characteristics of the wool fabrics by knowing the yarns. Moreover, we believe that we could apply these results to fabric design. We investigated the relationship between the mechanical characteristics of yarns and fabrics. As results, we have found that bending rigidity, bending hysteresis, compressional energy and compressional linearity between yarns and fabrics had correlated more than r=0.5. Also, the correlation between regression and experimental values is r=0.5 in stiffness while it is r=0.67 in fullness. And regression values were larger than experimental ones in stiffness, but were not in fullness. The correlation between regressional and experimental values had 0.63 in THV. According to the study, it is possible to apply it to fabric design when our predicting the primary hand and the total hand values of the fabrics from the mechanical characteristics of the yarns.

대두와 면 혼방직물의 염색에 따른 태의 비교 (Hand Value Assessment of Soybean/Cotton Blended Fabric after Natural and Synthetic Dyeing)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the dyeability, and the hand of soybean/cotton blended fabric after dyeing with natural and synthetic dyes. Soybean/cotton blended fabrics dyed with extracted solution from turmeric, sappan wood, gardenia and synthetic dyes(weak-acid dyes, reactive dyes, direct dyes). The hand value of soybean/cotton blended fabrics dyed with 6 different dyes was measured using Kawabata Evaluation System. The results are as follows; 1. The K/S value of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with sappan wood extracts was the highest. 2. The color fastness of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with reactive dyes was excellent. The fastness to the light of the same fabric was much better than the other fabrics. 3. Linearity of load-extension and tensile energy of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with sappan wood extracts showed very high. Shear stiffness of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with weak-acid dyes was much higher than that of fabric of dyed with reactive dyes. Bending property of the fabrics dyed with natural colorants(sappan wood, gardenia) showed very high, but that the fabric dyed with reactive dyes was very poor. 4. In the primary hand value, stiffness and anti-drape stiffness of the fabric dyed with weak-acid dyes showed the highest. Fullness and softness of the fabric dyed with weak-acid dyes showed very low.

한복지의 역학적 특성에 관한 연구 (제2보) 여자용 추동한복지 (A Study on the Mechanical Properties of Fabrics for Korean Folk Clothes (Part 2) On the Women's Fall & Winter Fabrics)

  • In the part 1, relations were found between fundmental mechanical properties and primary hand values, performance of Korean women's summer fabrics. In this paper, in order to investigate the hand values and mechanical properties such as tensile, shearing, bending, compression, surface and thickness & weight of the women's fall & winter fabrics were measured by KES-F system. Sorts of 90 commercial fabrics for women's fall & winter clothes were classfied into 39 silk and 51 polyester fabrics according to meterials. The experimental results were analysed statistically to relate the hand values and the mechanical properties and concerning to formation of weared clothes and transformation behavior were investigated. Furthermore, there mechanical properties as well as their hand values were discussed in comparison with those values for kimono fabrics. The main results are summarized as follows; 1. The shape of silk fabrics in formation for weared clothes show a box-shaped silhouette. Polyester fabrics has a easy to shape-less and make a silhouette which goes along with the body. 2. Silk fabrics for Korean women's fall & winter clothes have ${\pm}1\sigma$ range of bending, shearing, surface properties and thickness as compared with kimono fabrics. 3. A wrinkle recovery and drapability of silk fabrics for Korean women's fall & winter clothes are inferior to kimono fabrics. On the other hand, the fabrics for Korean women's fall & winter clothes have conical-shaped silhouette based on higher bending rigidity. 4. Except for flexibility with soft feeling, a primary factor of mechanical properties contributes to the hand values of fabrics for Korean women's fall & winter clothes having no concern with materials were same as the women's summer fabrics. 5. As for the hand values of fabrics for Korean folk clothes, stiffness, anti-drape stiffness are larger than those of kimono fabric and stiffness, anti-drape stiffness, crispness of fabrics for Korean women's fall & winter clothes have smaller values as compared with Korean women's summer fabrics.

연령 및 성별에 따른 사상체질별 손등 피부의 두께와 경도 특성에 대한 임상 연구 (Clinical Study on the Relations of the Thickness and the Stiffness of Back Skin of the Hand to Sasang Constitutions Depending on Sex and Age)

  • We statistically analyzed the relationship between the constitution and the thickness and stiffness of skin depending on sex and age, using 1079 clinical data registered to SCIB(Sasang constitution Information Bank), and the following results are obtained : The thickness of skin has big discrimination ability in classification of Taeeumin and Soyangin, especially in women and in ages 21 or more. The stiffness of skin also has big discrimination ability in classification of Taeeumin and Soeumin, especially in Taeumin women and Soeumin man and in ages 21-60. The differences stated above have been proved to be meaningful enough by Chi-square test.
