The present study explored a comprehensive investigation of university professors' perspectives on the implementation of ChatGPT - an artificial intelligence-powered language model - in their teaching practices. A diverse group of 30 university professors responded to a questionnaire about the level of their interest in implementing the tool, willingness to apply it, and concerns they have regarding the intervention of ChatGPT in higher education setting. The results showed that the participants are highly interested in employing the tool into their teaching practice, and find that the students are likely to benefit from using ChatGPT in classroom settings. On the other hand, they displayed concerns regarding high depandency on data, privacy-related issues, lack of supports required, and technical contraints. In today's fast-paced society, educators are urged to mindfully apply this inevitable generative AI means with thoughtfulness and ethical considerations to and for their learners. Relevant topics are discussed to successfully intervene AI tools in teaching practices in higher education.
This study aims to develop fashion designs that combine atlas fabric with the characteristics of Uygur costume to modernize the costume of the Xinjiang Uygur. Research contents and methods are as follows. First, based on previous studies, research analysis was conducted on the cultural background, clothing characteristics, and material of Uygur clothing. Second, based on such research contents, designs combining the characteristics of Uygur costume and atlas fabric were presented. Third, to analyze the utilization of atlas fabric and examine fabric characteristics, material was gathered from collections on domestic and foreign web sites. Through field explorations of local museums in the Xinjiang area, minority group culture was observed in more detail. Based on collection of traditional clothing and analysis of its characteristics, fashion designs that apply contemporary trends were developed. General silhouettes without any restrictions to the waist and decorations made using embroidery were often used. Atlas silk, developed in China using Ikat weaving methods, is an important traditional clothing fabric of the minority group Xinjiang. Based on such data collection analysis, the produced works highlighted traditional ethnic characteristics by extracting classical patterns of atlas fabric, modifying or partially expanding them, combining them with hand knitting, and adding contemporary sensations, thus providing confirmations of the possibility of popularizing classic patterns in more practical manners.

Many studies have explored suppression of aflatoxin produced by Aspergillus Genus. On the other hand, this study examined the inhibitory effect of the culture broth extract (CE) of A. tamarii obtained from dead silkworm on nitric oxide (NO) production and its antioxidative activity. The culture broth was extracted with EtOAc, dried, and then used in this experiment. As a result, CE did not show cytotoxicity on RAW 264.7 cells at any concentration. Moreover, CE suppressed lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced NO production of RAW 264.7 cells in a dose-dependent manner. The total phenol content according to the Folin-Dennis method, the antioxidative activity by DPPH, and the nitrate radical scavenging capacity of CE were increased in a dose-dependent manner. Thus, many of the phenolic compounds were considered to represent the antioxidative activity.

Temporal changes of cell growth pattern and intracellular content of $\beta$-D-glucans were investigated with off-gas data in Agaricus blazei culture where glucose was intermittently fed. It was observed that the time point of carbon source depletion coincided with the point of sudden drop in the carbon dioxide evolution rate (CER), and that the sole supplementation of glucose was not enough to maintain active cell growth and glucan content. On the other hand, when yeast extract, a typical nitrogen source, was supplemented together with glucose when the CER suddenly dropped because of carbon source depletion, an active cell growth could be maintained until the end of the culture and the glucan content did not decrease with culture time, significantly enhancing glucan productivity.
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was developed for the rapid detection of Fusarium species, known as harmful fungi in food. One of the hybridoma cell lines (lB8) which produced a monoclonal antibody (Mab) specific to Fusarium extracellular polysaccharide (EPS) was screened and the Mab was produced and purified. A detection limit of the sandwich ELISA against F. moniliforme EPS was $0.001\;\mu\textrm{g}/ml$ in the standard curve. Among the 59 strains tested, most Fusarium species showed hight reactivity with Mab lB8, even when the culture broths were diluted 100,000 times. On the other hand, the other genera, except A. versicolor and Trichoderma viride, had no reactivity. When 1 to $100\;\mu\textrm{g}$ of F. moniliforme EPS was spiked into rice, potato, and mandarine orange, the average recoveries were 151%, 84%, and 94%, respectively, determined by sandwich ELISA. The correlation coefficients between the EPS levels determined by sandwich ELISA and the dry mycelial weight of the liquid culture of F. moniliforme, as well as between the EPS and colony forming unit in solid culture of potato, were 0.97 and 0.91, respectively.
Shifts in the activity and diversity of microbes involved in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon degradation in contaminated soil were investigated. Subsurface soil was collected from a gas station that had been abandoned since 1995 owing to ground subsidence. The total petroleum hydrocarbon content of the sample was approximately 2,100 mg/kg, and that of the soil below a gas pump was over 23,000 mg/kg. Enrichment cultures were grown in mineral medium that contained hexadecane (H) or naphthalene (N) at a concentration of 200 mg/l. In the Henrichment culture, a real-time PCR assay revealed that the 16S rRNA gene copy number increased from $1.2{\times}10^5$to $8.6{\times}10^6$with no lag phase, representing an approximately 70-fold increase. In the N-enrichment culture, the 16S rRNA copy number increased about 13-fold after 48 h, from $6.3{\times}10^4$to $8.3{\times}10^5$. Microbial communities in the enrichment cultures were studied by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis and by analysis of 16S rRNA gene libraries. Before the addition of hydrocarbons, the gas station soil contained primarily Alpha- and Gammaproteobacteria. During growth in the H-enrichment culture, the contribution of Bacteriodetes to the microbial community increased significantly. On the other hand, during N-enrichment, the Betaproteobacteria population increased conspicuously. These results suggest that specific phylotypes of bacteria were associated with the degradation of each hydrocarbon.
Organic matter in rice-paddy soils exercises two antagonistic effects on the rice plant under water-logged conditions in growing season in the course of its decomposition: It liberates mineral nutrients and promotes soil fertility. On the other hand, however, it demands oxygen for its decay and therefore competes with rice roots for this element, when applied in large quantity of fresh status. For the practical end of rice culture, it is most desirable that these two effects should not contend with each other. To determine the proper content of organic materials to be applied, the influences of varied amounts of a homogeneous mixture of dried green manure, ranging from 0 to 20g/pot (1/20,000 tanbo), upon hte growth of rice was investigated in a sand culture. Labeled phosphorus fertilizer was also used in the form of KH232PO4 to evaluate the availability of this nutrient in the soil. Under the present experimental conditions, green mature seems to have influenced little on the growth of rice, except on number of grains produced and grains/straw ratio. Moreover, no sympton of growth inhibition is obsrvable even by the largest amount of its application. The available phosphorus, as estimated by A-value, appears to have increased, as the amount of organic materials applied increases. In view of the fact that pure sand instead of a paddy soil is used in this culture, the present results would not be directly applicable to practical rice farming. Besides, the estimated A-value is in need of further study, since it varies according to method of application, as suggested by Nishigki et. al. (1958).
The effect of IBA and NAA on adventitious root cultures of Panax ginseng C.A. Mater were investigated. Results indicated differences in growth and development of the roots according to 5mg/L IBA and 2mg/L NAA. IBA resulted in a normal root development and a higher growth compared to NAA. The roots formed on NAA-containing media were shorter and thicker than those in IBA, showing a hypertrophy of the root tip. NAA induced more than 1.6 times higher ethylene production compared to IBA, which caused inhibition of the root growth. Under the ventilation, in the other hand, on difference was observed in ethylene concentration and the root growth between IBA and NAA treatments. Under ventilation ethylene production was not detected until 10 days of culture, while detected from the initial stage under on ventilation. The results suggested the importance of ventilation during the culture for the growth and development of ginseng adventitious roots.

An efficient system of rice microspore culture could contribute to the production of genetically modified rice. The microspores were isolated by mechanical or shed methods. The number of microspores per 100 anthers isolated at uninucleate stage was higher than (or similar to) those at binucleate stage in isolation method with pestle or spatular, but microspore divisions were not easily observed on both stages. On the other hand, pollen division in shed pollen culture was observed more frequently at uninuclear than at binuclear stage. Cold pretreatment at 1$0^{\circ}C$ for 10 days resulted in the best multicellular division to produce microcalli at 12.5% efficiency in shed microspores. Heat shock at 33$^{\circ}C$ for one hour before or after pollen shedding enhanced cell division and callus formation. Out of twelve green regenerants, two were haploids and ten were diploids based on the chromosome analysis of root tips. The size of stoma was 12$^{m}$ m in haploids and 15 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in diploids determined by scanning electron microscope (SEM).
Textile fabrication based on traditional culture has grown very attentive as fashion icons in recent so that designers, especially, who want to be the center of attention, may be a public interest and introduce their own culture to the world. In the 21st century by more focusing of our culture, Korean textile designs that is applicable our traditional motifs are required to develop and also its motifs could be comprehensibly got the spirit and the inherent meaning, and should be fuse with modern touch and developed practical design in daily life. Of all many different patterns, this paper placed an emphasis on three of main traditional motifs as a floral arabesque pattern, ivy pattern and butterfly pattern. The traditional motifs were applied through a hand-made technology and the professional design program of TexPro, and then the textile design was simulated by Photoshop to approaching the apparel design. Through these produced artworks, we have conscious that the oriental images have associate traditional meaning and the traditional design tried to express co-existence past and present. Moreover, we believe that the surface pattern design of textile for printing was good chance to relive the traditional meaning, and the tradition is recognized not mere old and expects more advance with applications.
