But age of health physical fitness tend to weaken in the age of 40-44. Systolic(p=.011) and Diastolic blood pressure (p= .011) were significantly increased with age increment. Diastolic blood pressure and dietary habit of 45-49 aged group showed the significant negative-correlation(r= .280. P<0.05). and Diastolic blood pressure and age of health physical fitness of 40-44 aged group showed the significant positive-correlation(r= .182. P<0.05). On the basis of the results of this study. • This study was performed in order to investigate the relationship between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dietary habit and caffeine intake in upper-grade elementary school children. The total number of the study subjects was 237 students (111 boys and 126 girls), where 30 students (12.7%) were diagnosed as ADHD. The dietary habit score of the ADHD group was significantly lower than that of the normal group. In particular, the ADHD group had lower dietary scores in consuming daily breakfast, diverse foods, fruit and milk than those in the normal group. Meanwhile, the daily intake frequency of instant noodle (ramyeon) was significantly higher in the ADHD group than that in the normal group. The mean caffeine intake of the students was 42.95 mg and the proportion of students consuming more than the ADI (acceptable daily intake) was 11.8%. The caffeine intake of ADHD group (63.63 mg) tended to be higher than that of the normal group (39.95 mg); however, it was not significantly different. The ADHD score of the students was negatively related with the dietary habit score (r = -0.279, p < 0.01) but positively related with caffeine intake (r = 0.164, p < 0.05). The dietary habit score had a negative relationship with caffeine intake (r = -0.180, p < 0.01) and a positive relationship with height (r = 0.195, p < 0.01). Caffeine intake had a negative relationship with the height of the students (r = -0.171, p < 0.05). In conclusion, ADHD in children was related to poor dietary habit and high caffeine intake.

  • Since social network service (SNS) has been widely used as a effective way for people to connect and communication with each other, the use of corporate SNS account also has increased. However, compared to a private SNS account, only few people have a continuous relationship with their corporate SNS account because the use of corporate SNS account tends to be one-time and temporary activity whenever the users just need events and information. Given the psychological side effects of using SNS, the relative lack of empirical studies on the impacts of emotional factor in SNS prevents the deeper understanding of the intention to continuous using corporate SNS account. Therefore, this study aims to explore key determinants of the intension to continuous using the corporate SNS account from a habit and emotional perspective. To bridge research gap, we attempt to divide emotional factor into the following 5 factors based on Mehrabian and Russell model (1974): intimacy, enjoyment (positive factor), privacy concern, anxiety (negative factor), arousal (arousal factor) and (dominant factor). The basic model is proposed to explore the effects of habit and emotional factors on the intension to continuous using the corporate SNS account. We then examine how the effects of habit and emotional factors differ depending on social media types (e.g., facebook and twitter). The results indicates that habit is related to emotional factors, and each emotional factor differently influences the intension to continuous using the corporate SNS account. The results also confirm that the effects of the habit and emotional factors on the intension to continuous using the corporate SNS account differ according to social media types. This study provides practical and useful guidance and the strategic marketing insight for managers in maintaining and improving the intension to continuous using the corporate SNS account.

  • A problem that affects children's dentitions is the harmful habit which is difficult to treat. Harmful habits for children are such as abnormal swallowing patterns, low/forward tongue rest posture problem, habitual open-lips resting posture, habitual mouth-breathing, excessive digital sucking habit and tongue thrusting. Tongue thrusting habits cause a bit of cranio-facial skeletal changes and a great deal of dental malocclusion such as anterior open bite. Anterior open bite causes masticatory, speech, and esthetic problems in the growing children and difficulties in diagnosis, treatment, and the prediction of its prognosis. The treatments of such abnormal behaviors involve orofacial myofunctional therapy and using of habit breaking appliance. The prognosis is not determined by the presence of severity of oral habit but the skeletal tendency of the patient. Usage of tongue crib resulted in not only the discontinuance of the habit but also improvement in overbite and overbite. This study showed that relatively successful results could be generated by using removable tongue crib and myofunctional therapy in the case of openbite related to tongue thrusting habit.

  • This study evaluated 23 elderly residents living independently in 4 group homes for their behaviors of space occupancy and activities of daily living. The aim of the study was to analysis the habit of space occupancy of residents in group homes for elderly people. As the results, the habit of space occupancy of residents in group homes was analysed and categorized into four types: (1) bedroom occupancy, (2) common space occupancy, (3) 2-space occupancy and (4) several spaces occupancy. It was shown, then, that the common space occupancy in ‘ㅂ' group home, 2-space occupancy and several spaces occupancy in 'ㅇ' and 'ㄱ' group homes, and bedroom occupancy in ‘ㅅ' group home were highest, respectively, so that the type of their space occupancy varied in accordance with individual group homes. Moreover, there was a difference in the habit of their space occupancy according to the degree of achieving both ADL and IADL. This fact seems to indicate that the higher the degree of their independence in ADL and IADL, the more the number of their occupying space. Accordingly, the degree of their independence in achieving ADL and IADL should be taken into account in planning residential spaces for elderly people, including individual and commonly sharing spaces, traffic lines, layout and facilities.

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the relationship among perceived health status, dietary habit and health promoting behaviors of university students. Methods: The subjects were 464 university students. Data were collected by using self-reported questionnaires. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis with the PASW 18.0 program. Results: The mean score of perceived health status was 3.24, dietary habit was 2.85 and health promoting behaviors was 2.24. There were significant differences in perceived health status according to gender, BMI, exercise and stress. There were significant differences in dietary habit according to residence, monthly allowance, drinking alcohol, exercise, sleeping hours and stress. In addition there were significant differences in health promoting behaviors according to gender, residence, BMI, smoking and exercise. Also, perceived health status significantly positively correlated between dietary habit and health promoting behaviors. Conclusions: As the results of multiple regression analysis, the related factors of perceived health status of university students were exercise, stress and spiritual growth factor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop multiple health promoting programs considering characteristics of university students. And various strategies have been developed to increase the physical activity should be run.
