Microorganisms are contained filtered sea water that is why we often observed co-existing copepod species in the large-scale rotifer culture tanks. In this study, we investigated about taxonomical study of co-existing copepods in Brachionus rotifer mass culture tanks of several seafarming centers at Jeju-do and Pusan, Korea by microscope. Also, we counted number of copeods and density in 10 mL of cultured sea water and distinguished growing patterns and sex. As results, we can identified 4 species copepods, 2 species of Tisbe, 1 species of Tigriopus and 1 species of Apocyclops.

The smart phone are changing the way people communicate. And, the mobile app marketplace is greatly fast-growing. The app store continues its rapid growth, there are already more than 900,000 mobile apps on AppStore. We anticipate to see gained momentum throughout the business. Mobile is also becoming popular for marketers. Therefore, specialized app analysis systems are becoming important to how marketers and app developers invest, analyze and market their apps. App analysis systems enable users to discover and analyze behavior through data observations and meaningful patterns. In this paper, we introduce app analysis system and CMS System Open API, NugaLog. The NugaLog acquires users data and engages with them in a variety of ways. It will be essential for us to understand how users interact with and move through the app. The NugaLog will be able to see the number of users, smart phone model, smart phone OS, resolution, page views, and app version.

Increasing presence of wild boar around cities and suburban areas is a growing concern with respect to agronomy, environmental ecology, and public safety. In this study, antibiotic resistance profiles of Escherichia (E.) coli isolated from wild boar and domestic pig fecal samples were compared. Eighty E. coli samples were isolated from wild boars. Resistance of the bacteria to 14 common antimicrobial agents used in human and veterinary medicine was evaluated. Ninety-five E. coli isolates from domestic pig farms were used for comparison. Common and distinct antibiotic resistance patterns were observed when comparing wild boar and domestic pig isolates, indicating that wild boars may significantly influence environmental microbiology.

Non-destructive inspection techniques using laser have been broading their application areas as well as growing their measurement skills together with the rapid development of circumferential technology like fiber optics and computer. The remarkable inspection technique using laser speckle, so-called ESPI is aleady on the stage of on-line testing with commercial products in other nations. Especially, this technique is expected to be applied to the nuclear industry. Because it is proper for the vibration measurement and it can be applied to objects of a high temperature. This paper describes the use of the ESPI system for measuring vibration patterns on the reflecting objects. Using this system, high-quality Jo fringers fso that fringe shift algorthms can be used to determine vibration interferograms recorded by the ESPI system.

Growing urban areas modify patterns of local land use and land cover. Land use changes associated with an urban area can be extensive. One way to understand and document land use change and urbanization is to establish benchmark maps compiled from satellite imagery The use of satellite imagery for monitoring urban growth has been widely demonstrated. Multi-temporal LANSAT TM image data has created the potential for monitoring urban change and land cover identification. In this study, for extracting urban boundary GLCM method and visual interpretation were used in CORONA imagery and SPOT imagery.

The World Wide Web (WWW) has continued to grow at very rapid speed in both the sheer volume of traffic and size and the complexity of Web sites. Web Analytics Industry also has been growing rapidly. Web Analytics is to analyze web log files to discover accessing patterns of web pages. In this paper, we identify factors which can affect the continuous usage intention of a firm using services in web analytics services and empirically validate the relationships between the identified factors. For this purpose, we analyze 174 Korea firms. The analysis results show that the satisfaction is significantly associated with service quality and switching cost and the service usage period is not significantly associated with continuous service usage intention. We measure the service quality using SERVQUAL. It turn out that two dimensions of SERVQUAL, reliability and empathy are significantly associated with satisfaction, but another dimension of SERVQUAL, responsibility, is not. Finally, satisfaction is significantly associated with continuous service usage intention.

Nuclear power has become an essential part of electricity generation to meet the continuous growth of electricity demand. A Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor (SFR) was developed to extend uranium resource utilization under a growing nuclear energy scenario while concomitantly providing a nuclear waste management solution. Key questions in this scenario are when to introduce SFRs and how many reactors should be introduced. In this study, a methodology using Linear Programming is employed in order to quantify an optimized growth pattern of a nuclear energy system comprising light water reactors and SFRs. The optimization involves tradeoffs between SFR capital cost premiums and the total system U3O8 price premiums. Optimum nuclear growth patterns for several scenarios are presented, as well as sensitivity analyses of important input parameters.

The competition for water for municipal, industrial and agricultura and agricultural uses is growing keener as the world fooe and energy crises are intensifying. It is therefore becoming important how systems engineering techniques can be used to plan effectively for the future development of water supply and waste water management systems in a regional area. The feasible direction method and the out-of-kilter algorithm enable us to find the least-cost mix of alternative allocation networks. The interaction between land use patterns and urban water resources, and the environmental impact of alternative policies are discussed.

Study in the field of sleep and memory has greatly expanded recently and the number of publications supporting the association between sleep and memory consolidation is rapidly growing. This study presents evidence related to sleep-dependent memory consolidation, ranging from behavioral task-performing studies to molecular studies, and several arguments against the association. Basic researches show that many genes are upwardly regulated during sleep and patterns of brain activation seen during daytime task training are repeated during subsequent REM sleep. Several electrophysiological studies demonstrate the correlation between spindle density increase following training and subsequent improvement in performing the training task. Overnight improvement or deterioration in task performance correlates with REM or SWS sleep. In the end, a lot of issues remain to be studied and discussed further in the future in spite of supporting evidence now available.

Governments around the world place great hopes in innovation in their search for new sources of growth and for responses to grand challenges, such as climate change, new or re-emerging infectious diseases, accelerating urbanisation, ageing, food security, and availability of clean water. However they must devise their relevant support policies -- including through sponsored research within public research institutes -- taking into account that innovation processes are currently undergoing a major transformation. New innovation patterns include a broadening scope of relevant activities, a growing importance but changing nature of scientific roots of technological development, a stronger demand-pull, the emergence of new local and national STI powerhouses, and the rise of more open and globalised innovation networks. They translate into new opportunities but also constraints for policies to enhance the contribution of public research institutes to national innovation performance. The article derives the main policy implications regarding the desirable evolution of the mission, research focus, as well as the funding and steering of public research institutes, with a special reference to Korea.
