  • In multi agent systems, various inter agent communication models have been proposed, and, especially, there are several group communication schemes proposed so far, where some schemes guarantees transparent communication among the agents. However, in mobile agent environments, we require new group communication schemes that consider topology changes caused by mobile agent migrations. Also, these group communication schemes should be secure in order for them to be practical. In this paper, we propose a secure group communication scheme using the hierarchical overlay ring structure of mobile agents. The proposed scheme uses the ring channel in order to cope adaptively with the change of ring topology. The ring channel has basic information for construction of the ring and is managed only by the mobile agent platforms. Therefore, each mobile agent need not directly handle the ring channel and it can perform group communication without any consideration on the change of the ring topology.

  • Objectives: We aimed to study the role of vestibular input on spatial memory performance in mice that had undergone bilateral surgical labyrinthectomy, semicircular canal (SCC) occlusion and 4G hypergravity exposure. Methods: Twelve to 16 weeks old ICR mice (n=30) were used for the experiment. The experimental group divided into 3 groups. One group had undergone bilateral chemical labyrinthectomy, and the other group had performed SCC occlusion surgery, and the last group was exposed to 4G hypergravity for 2 weeks. The movement of mice was recorded using camera in Y maze which had 3 radial arms (35 cm long, 7 cm high, 10 cm wide). We counted the number of visiting arms and analyzed the information of arm selection using program we developed before and after procedure. Results: The bilateral labyrinthectomy group which semicircular canal and otolithic function was impaired showed low behavioral performance and spacial memory. The semicircular canal occlusion with $CO_2$ laser group which only semicircular canal function was impaired showed no difference in performance activity and spatial memory. However the hypergravity exposure group in which only otolithic function impaired showed spatial memory function was affected but the behavioral performance was spared. The impairment of spatial memory recovered after a few days after exposure in hypergravity group. Conclusions: This spatial memory function was affected by bilateral vestibular loss. Space-related information processing seems to be determined by otolithic organ information rather than semicircular canals. Due to otolithic function impairment, spatial learning was impaired after exposure to gravity changes in animals and this impaired performance was compensated after normal gravity exposure.

  • Purpose: To evaluate the marginal and internal fit of metal coping fabricated by a metal three-dimensional (3D) printer that uses selective laser melting (SLM). Methods: An extraoral scanner was used to scan a die of the prepared maxillary right first molar, and the coping was designed using computer-aided design software and saved as an stereo lithography (STL) file. Ten specimens were printed with an SLM-type metal 3D printer (SLM group), and 10 more specimens were fabricated by casting the castable patterns output generated by a digital light processing-type resin 3D printer (casting the 3D printed resin patterns [CRP] group). The fit was measured using the silicon replica technique, and 8 points (A to H) were set per specimen to measure the marginal (points A, H) and internal (points B~G) gaps. The differences among the groups were compared using the Mann-Whitney U-test (α=0.05). Results: The mean of marginal fit in the SLM group was 69.67±18.04 ㎛, while in the CRP group was 117.10±41.95 ㎛. The internal fit of the SLM group was 95.18±41.20 ㎛, and that of the CRP group was 86.35±32 ㎛. As a result of statistical analysis, there was a significant difference in marginal fit between the SLM and CRP groups (p<0.05); however, there was no significant difference in internal fit between the SLM group and the CRP group (p>0.05). Conclusion: The marginal and internal fit of SLM is within the clinically acceptable range, and it seems to be applicable in terms of fit.

  • The transprot layer protocol for distrubuted multimedia applications in high speed network should gurantee the Quality of Serivce(QoS)requested by uwer.,The QoS Parmenters can be divied into two calssifications:those depend on the speed of a network such as bandiwidth,end-to-end transmission delay and throughput;and net- woek independent parameters such as various typed of group communications, retransmission method based on multimeda characteristic, acceptable packet wrror rate and transmission priority. In this proposed protocol,we divided user's QoS into performance redated parmeters and non-performance related parameters. The perform- ance-related paramenters are mapped into ATM traddic paramenters by the Distributed QoS Manger(DQM),the QoS manager, and the non-performance redlted paramenters are supported by the Distributed Multimedia Trans-port protocol(DMTP),a high-performance group transport protocol.Especially, becaues the DMTP is designed with considering the IP protocol,it can be efficiently used as an underlying protocol not onlu in ATM,but also in Ethernet,Token ring and FDDI LAN.

  • The important issue that applies security key are secure rekeying, processing time and cost reduction. Because of sensor node's limited energy, energy consumption for rekeying affects lifetime of network. Thus it is necessary a secure and efficient security key management method. In this paper, I propose an energy efficient group-based cluster key management (EEGCK) in the large scale sensor networks. EEGCK uses five security key for efficient key management and different polynomial degree using security fitness function of sector, cluster and group is applied for rekeying and security processing. Through both analysis and simulation, I also show that proposed EEGCK is better than previous security management method at point of network energy efficiency.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate shear bond strengths of $Peak^{(R)}$ Universal Bond (Ultradent, USA) containing 0.2% chlorhexidine in bovine dentin. Total of 30 bovine teeth were divided into three groups, 10 teeth each. Before comparing and evaluating shear bond strength, in group I, $Adper^{TM}$ Single Bond Universal (3M ESPE, USA) was applied, in group II, processing with $Consepsis^{(R)}$ (Ultradent, USA) was followed by applying $Adper^{TM}$ Single Bond Universal, and in group III, $Peak^{(R)}$ Universal Bond was applied and filled with $Filtek^{TM}$ Z-350 XT (3M/ESPE, USA) shade B3. As a result, processing with $Consepsis^{(R)}$ after acid etching showed no statistically significant influence on shear bond strength of dentin (p > 0.05). The shear bond strength of with or without $Consepsis^{(R)}$ on $Adper^{TM}$ Single Bond Universal and that of $Peak^{(R)}$ Universal Bond showed statistically significant difference (p < 0.05).

  • Galaxies associated with massive groups/clusters are normally gas deficient in contrast to field galaxies. HI observations on such galaxies have revealed signs of violent gas stripping, the direct evidence of the environmental effect. At the same time, the notable number of passive galaxies at the cluster outskirts indicates the presence of pre-processing that makes galaxies gas-poor before entering clusters. We investigate the possible channels for the production of the gas deficient galaxies using the state-of-the-art cosmological hydrodynamic zoom-in simulations of 16 clusters (Choi&Yi). We find cluster effect and pre-processing together play an important role in producing the gas-poor galaxies and in both cases gas loss qualitatively agrees with the ram pressure stripping description. Among the currently gas-poor cluster galaxies, 34% are pre-processed before the cluster infall. They are mainly satellites that have undergone ram pressure stripping in group halos. 43% deplete quickly after arriving at cluster during their first approach to the center. Some of them are group halo satellites low in the gas at the infall compared to galaxies directly coming from the field. 24% retain gas even after their first pericentric pass mainly because they are falling into low mass clusters and/or they have a circular orbit that minimizes the ram pressure effect. This study highlights the importance of the past history of galaxies, especially in group halos, before joining the current cluster when understanding the excess of passive galaxies in clusters.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the cognitive performance of major depressive disorder (MDD) in military service/conscription personnel who visited the psychiatric clinic for a medical certificate to consider the situation from the perspective of Korea's unique compulsory military system. We used the Korean Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-IV (K-WAIS-IV) as the test for verifying the suitable level of cognitive functioning for military service and as the embedded measure with reflecting suboptimal effort. Methods : The study was conducted on 56 (28 males, age 19-34) in/out-patients admitted to the psychiatry department and diagnosed with MDD (DSM-IV). All participants completed a structured clinical interview (MINI-Plus), as well as self-report questionnaires related to demographics and severity of clinical symptoms. K-WAIS-IV was administered to each subject to assess cognitive characteristics. Results : Military group showed significantly lower processing speed index (PSI) score including subtests of symbol search (SS) and coding (CD) score, compared to the control group. There was no other significant differences in the Full Scale IQ (FSIQ), Verbal Comprehension Index (VCI), Perceptual Reasoning Index (PRI), Working Memory Index (WMI) scores including sub-tests comprised of the above indices, and Reliable Digit Span (RDS), Enhanced-RDS-Revised (E-RDS-R) between the study and control groups. Conclusion : This study was the first effort to verify the characteristics of Korea's military group with MDD and suggest the applicability of PSI and processing speed of K-WAIS-IV as an embedded performance index to test sub-optimal effort or low motivation beyond the purpose of testing cognitive deficits.

  • Efficiency study of chamomile and Thyme essential oil about the basal layer & sebaceous gland in dry-skin induced by surfactant is as following : 1. Formal observation of outer skin layer and basal layer There was refreshing effects about Surfactant induction skin inflammation in Chamomile, Thyme essential oil processing group but effect in surface layer appeared by higher thing in Chamomile essential oil and it could know that thing which do not use Thyme essential oil in case Thyme essential oil is ultraviolet rays allergy at skin care because Melanocyte appear on the surface is bigger than Chamomile essential oil that it was usefully reaction in basal layer. 2. Formal observation result of sebaceous glands. There are few damages in all group but there is recuperative through excessive water damage by excessive a sebaceous gland made of mulberry bark secretion because Thyme essential oil application group cause chapped skin phenomenon after surface-active agent processing but is seen that difference does not exist greatly and Thyme essential oil that general skin is strong in permeation is effective, but Surfactant induction skin inflammation estimates that Chamomile essential oil is effective. Therefore, it was considered that use of Chamomile essential oil is effectiveness than Thyme essential oil by essential oil used for recovery after damage of inflammation etc..
