The group is one of the hobbies and other life groups, and each person in the group directly attends the meeting and works on the topic of the group. In this paper, we implemented voting, announcements, surveys, and suggestions, which are necessary functions for similar groups including group. We also provide web sites based on Apache web server for convenience of Android smartphone applications, OS except Android, Group management can be managed by using the manager's website which can manage the whole group management. It is designed with Apache web server, web communication language PHP, MySQL database, and Android.

This research studied future directions of Internet technology toward supporting group decision making. From the previous research, this study classified requirements of group decision support systems into three categories which are information transfer, information provision, and communication control. For each of the category, this study analyzed the limits of current Internet functions. Next, this research discussed technological solutions, for each of the OSI 7 layers, toward supporting group decision making. Additional functions in Internet which are required for group supporting are tracing communications, application dependent coding, selection of communication modes, and security handling. For high speed data communication in Internet, this research discussed the potential of cell-switching technology for the lower level link in Internet. The conclusions of this research can be used for designing future group decision support systems and development of Internet.

Purpose: This study was conducted to test the effects of flipped learning for undergraduate nursing students. Methods: The study was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Participants were 140 nursing students (experimental group=70, control group=70). The flipped learning was provided for 6 times (18 hours). Data were collected between March 7 and May 30, 2016. Data were analyzed using Chi-square, t-test, paired t-test with SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: The results showed that self-efficacy (t=4.67, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (t=6.55, p<.001), and communication competence (t=3.57, p=.001) were significantly higher than in the experimental group than in the control group. Conclusion: The study findings suggest that the flipped learning has proven to be influential educational program for improving the self-efficacy, critical thinking disposition, and communication competence of nursing students. The flipped learning was an effective teaching program for nursing student, and need to develop other nursing major subjects.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a Action Learning(AL) program in terms of problem solving, communication skills, emotional creativity and innovation behaviors. Design for this was a nonequivalent control group quasi-experimental study. The participants were C-hospital staff nurses in G city (Experimental group=29, Control group=30). The AL program was composed of fourteen sessions in eight weeks. Data were collected and the program was conducted from May. 26 to July. 18, 2008. Data were analyzed with ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and ANCOVA, and utilized the SPSS win 20.0 program. There were significant increases in problem solving skills, communication skills and emotional creativity in the experimental group compared to the control group. Considering the above results, AL program has proven to be an effective educational program for improving the problem solving, communication skills and emotional creativity of nurses.

Purpose: Purposes of this study were to identify non-value-added nursing activities (NVANAs) and to estimate the amount of time spent on NVANAs among total nursing activities. Methods: Non-value-added nursing activities were identified though the use of a focus group. The nurses in the focus group were nurses working in a tertiary hospital. They discussed possible activities that could be NVANAs. Based on the focus group discussion, a pilot study was done to examine the actual occurrence of NVANAs in clinical settings. Results: The focus group discussion showed that NVANAs occurred in ten categories of nursing performances including communication with physicians, communication with other departments, medications, equipment/supplies, nursing records, tests, admission, discharge, and transfer. Direct nursing activities accounted for 35.5% of total nursing activities while indirect nursing activities accounted for 64.5%. Of indirect nursing activities, 16% were NVANAs. Most NVANAs were related to communication and equipment/supplies. Conclusions: To improve the quality and efficiency of nursing activities, it is necessary to identify NVANAs and their causes. Results of this study suggest that improvement in the work process and nursing unit structure, support for equipment/supplies, and effective communication are needed to reduce NVANAs in tertiary hospitals in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to compare stress, empathy, and communication in stress coping group and non-coping group. The data collected using questionnaires from nursing students. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and Pearson correlation with SPSS 23.0 version. Significantly lower scores for stress (mean, 2.42 vs. 2.97; p=.000), and higher scores for communication (mean 3.33 vs. 3.21; p=.008) were observed in the stress coping group compared with the non-coping group. Further studies need to development and application a program that enhances subjective stress coping methods.

This paper proposes a group key design based on ECDH(Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman) which guarantees secure V2V and V2I communication. The group key based on ECDH generates the VGK(Vehicular Group key) which is a group key between vehicles, the GGK(Global Group Key) which is a group key between vehicle groups, and the VRGK(Vehicular and RSU Group key) which is a group key between vehicle and RSUs with ECDH algorithm without an AAA server being used. As the VRGK encrypted with RGK(RSU Group Key) is transferred from the current RSU to the next RSU through a secure channel, a perfect forward secret security is provided. In addition, a Sybil attack is detected by checking whether the vehicular that transferred a message is a member of the group with a group key. And the transmission time of messages and the overhead of a server can be reduced because an unnecessary network traffic doesn't happen by means of the secure communication between groups.

The purpose of this study is twofold: (i) to develop a teaching and learning plan and practical performance assessment tools for the improvement of teenager-parent communication and relationships as well as explore their effects on the communication in the everyday family life; and (ii) to find the underlying problems of teenager- parent communication through conversation analysis and to provide a improved dialogue model. We provided the experimental group with a performance task of communication training between teenagers and their parents in the real family situation while the control group practiced communication skills in a learning situation. However for both classes, before and after performance tasks were equally provided. The experimental group exhibited a longer conversation time with their parents, better communication skills, and higher degrees of relational satisfaction than the control group. Conversation analysis revealed that the experimental group reduced the use of blocking techniques in the teenager-parent conversations more than the control group, and all so raised the frequency of functional communications more than the control group. In both areas of communication in the experimental group was significantly improved, Most notably, a problem-solving case through no-lose conflict resolution methods was effective, succeeding by 70% in the e experimental group and 43.3% in the control group. Parents use blocking techniques like admonition, lecturing, blaming. sarcastic remarking, ordering and so forth, while teenagers use dispute, avoidance, blaming, and teasing in this order. The communication problems during the conversation process, teenagers' evasive and rebellious way of speaking instigates adverse communication responses from parents, so their conversation tends to unfold as ambiguous evasion opposed to: inquiring or evasion by short answers vs. ordering-preaching, or disputing vs. criticizing-making sarcastic, disputing vs. disputing-teaching, and criticizing vs. criticizing.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and implement an educational program for cultural competence in nursing for nursing students, and to evaluate its effects on transcultural self-efficacy, intercultural communication competence, and state anxiety. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used with an experimental group (n=22) and a control group (n=27). Outcome variables were measured by transcultural self-efficacy, intercultural communication competence, and state anxiety before and after the program. The experimental group participated in an educational course for cultural competence in nursing for 14 weeks while the control group did not participate in any course. Chi-square test, Fisher's exact probability test, t-test, MANCOVA, and ANCOVA were performed to analyze the data. Results: The experimental group showed significantly higher posttest scores in the transcultural self-efficacy score (F=19.76, p<.001, partial ${\eta}^2=.34$, observed power .99) and the intercultural communication competence score (F=17.56, p<.001, partial ${\eta}^2=.32$, observed power .98) than that of the control group. The experimental group showed a significantly lower state anxiety score (F=5.30, p=.027, partial ${\eta}^2=.12$, observed power .61) than that of the control group. Conclusions: This educational program was effective on nursing students' cultural competence. Therefore, it is suggested that this program be used for other nursing students. It is also necessary to evaluate its effects after a longer period.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between the communication status in group and the semantic network of science gifted students. Seven small groups, 5 members in each, participated in small group activities, in which they discussed the calculation of earth density. Both the communication status in group and the semantic network of science gifted students were analyzed using KrKwic, Ucinet 6.0 for Windows. As a result, the semantic network of prime movers in group represented more frequently used words, lesser rate of component, and higher density than that of out lookers. It means that the prime movers have coherent knowledge compared to out lookers, and they output more knowledge for problem solving than out lookers. Therefore, the results of this study may be applied to evaluating the cognitive level of science gifted students and group organization for small group activity.
