  • In this paper, we developed a Windows 95 version Off-Line Programming System which can simulate a Robot model in 3D Graphic space. 4 axes SCARA Robot (especially FARA SM5)was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the OLP system in the Windows 95's GUI environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

  • It is very difficult to control a motor and apply a mathematical algorism using regular micro controller. However we can embody a program using the graphic language faster and easier than using another language and conveniently compose the plate based on a PC through the DAQ board included AD and DA converter. In addition, The controllable system is made due to GUI program. I verified appropriateness PI control and determining a speed of BLDC motor which is nomally used through this program.

  • The conventional educational robots, which are commonly industrial robots or toy robots, use text-based programming to teach the students. Therefore, students have difficulty in studying robotics due to the difficulties of text based language. The developed robot in this study have a camera, which have the color tracking function, and it has various sensors and actuators. It supports the open hardware and uses graphic language based programming. The developed educational robot is programmed by Scratch, which uses graphic modular language. We also present a curriculum, which is based upon the developed robot and Scratch. We applied the robot and curriculum to the primary school students. We obtained satisfactory results comparing it with the conventional robot education. Furthermore, the imagination and execution ability of students showed enhancement in learning robotics. Thus, this fact means the validity and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • According to development of Information Technology and generalization of internet, practical use field of geography information became various. Therefor various Geographic Information System (GIS) constructed to manage geography information efficiently. However, geography information data of various form is depending on graphic authorizing tool of various form being not normalized each other. So, OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) proposed GML(Geography Markup Language) that describe normalized geography information data that can apply mutually and W3C proposed SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) of vector base. In this paper creates GML data of XML base for geography information data processing to vector graphic object, and design and implementation of GML document editing and translation system that define code converter that create GML document through created graphic objects and change vector graphic to logic structure of XML base.
