Many new challenges in different sectors have emerged due to societal growth, and researchers are needed to help solve them; and Google Scholar is a tool to assist researchers in doing so. The goal of this study is to figure out what characteristics influence how effective the Google Scholar tool is for Vietnamese university students. The study focuses on analyzing and explaining the interplay between the independent variables Perceived of Google Scholar, Perceived ease of use, Comprehensiveness and subjective norm, Perceived Satisfaction for the dependent variable Perception of usefulness. The study was carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods with 280 data points collected online through the survey link. The methods used to test the scale such as Cronbach alpha, CFA, SEM, One sample T-test, Independent Sample T-test, and One-way Anova are used to find the correlation between factors such as gender, Age, and Majors that affect the students' perception of the usefulness of google scholar. The results show that all the factors suggested in the model have a significant impact on the perceived usefulness of Google scholar. Furthermore, research shows that Google Scholar is an important academic search engine for Vietnamese students.

In the current school curriculum, an alternative assessment method which focuses more on the problem solving process rather than the final solution is being investigated. The goal is to evaluate students' understanding of the subject. A descriptive evaluation is being suggested as a way of examining the thought process of the students by a structured analysis of the problem solving process. But currently, there are not enough descriptive problems available for teachers to effectively carry out the alternative assessment method in the elementary school mathematics curriculum. In this research, we surveyed 197 elementary school teachers in Seoul to determine the status of descriptive evaluation in elementary school mathematics and to understand the teachers perception about the new assessment method. The goal of the survey was to find an effective implication of the new assessment method in elementary mathematics classes. The research showed that the elementary teachers use this assessment method about 4 to 7 times per month in their classes. They give descriptive problem test anytime they think it is appropriate during the Instruction of the topic. More than 90% of the teachers were using this assessment method to improve students' creativity and mathematical thinking. The teachers in the survey also commented that the teachers' administrative responsibility should be reduced and that the school environment in general should be improved for the new assessment method to be successful. Finally the study also showed that development of more descriptive problems in each grade level is needed to progress the new assessment method.
The public trades information through social media during crises. The use of social media during crises has been increased steadily. However, there are few studies done on the effects of social media use on crisis perception. The goal of this study is to examine how social media affect an organization's ability to manage crises. The study specifically tries to investigate how media types, organization-public relationships, and image restoration strategies affect the public's perception of crises. An experiment was conducted to test research questions by presenting crisis scenarios and observing how newspapers and the social media Twitter affected the crisis. According to a three-way ANOVA test, the type of media and image restoration strategies had an interaction effect on the public's perception of crises. Also, the type of media, organization-public relationship, and image restoration strategies had a three way effect toward the acceptance of crisis communication strategies. As a result, it can be said that the public's perception and acceptances of crisis communication were different depending on the type of media used. The effectiveness of social media was proved, and it was seen that to be able to effectively use social media, each organization must have different strategies depending on their needs.

The goal of the study was to examine undergraduate students' perception of the importance of the concept of system in science. The participants are six undergraduate students in the department of science education. Data sources included interviews and interview notes. Results showed that students understood the concept of system as a group of objects, space, and boundaries, which differed from a previous research study about its details. The students also were able to explain the concept of system related with the process of problem solving. The students recognized as well the selection of system for analysis of natural phenomenon, explaining that the selection of system was determined by purpose of the observer. Lastly, the students explained that the concept of system was useful for science learning because it was strongly related with other science concepts, understanding of interactions, and learner's cognitive development.
The purposes of this research were to investigate in-patients' perception on foodservice quality and to examine factors influencing their meal consumption at hospitals. Three general hospitals with over 400 beds in Seoul and Chon-An agreed to participate in the research. A total of 516 in-patients of the hospitals were surveyed on their meal consumptions, reasons of plate wastes, perceptions of foodservice quality, and demographic information. A response rate was 76% after excluding responses with significant missing data. On average the regular diet patients consumed 72%, 69%, and 68% of rice, soups, and side dishes served, respectively; the therapeutic diet patients consumed less than 70% of the meals they were served. The consumption rates did not differ significantly by diet type, gender, age, and hospitalization period. Among the therapeutic diet patients, those who had nutrition education consumed significantly more rice than the others (p<0.05). The main reasons why the patients did not eat all food served were 'lack of energy' and 'not tasty'. The patients' perception on foodservice quality was low; the therapeutic diet patients perceived more negatively than the regular diet patients in 'keeping hot food hot, cold food cold(p<0.05)', 'maintaining consistency of taste(p<0.01)', and 'providing nutrition information(p<0.01)'. To achieve the goal of the foodservice at hospitals, the dietitians can use the findings of the research in developing and implementing strategies to improve the patients' meal consumption. Recipe standardization, employee training, and production management will be useful for improving food quality and nutrition education on therapeutic diets for the patients will improve their meal consumption at hospitals.
The goal of this research is to investigate the present situation for front of pack labeling in Korea and the perception of consumers for the new system of labeling, front of pack labeling, based on the consumer survey. We investigated the number of processed foods with front of pack labeling in one retailer in Youngin-si. And we also surveyed 1,019 participants nationwide whose ages were from 20 to 49; the knowledge of nutrition labeling, the knowledge of 'front of pack labeling', and the opinion about the labeling system. The data were analyzed using SAS statistics program. The results were as follows: 13.4% of processed foods had front of pack labeling, and 16.8% of the consumers always checked the nutrition labeling, while 32.7% of the consumers seldom checked it. In addition, 44.3% of the consumers think that 'front of pack labeling' is necessary, and 58.3% of the consumers think it is important to show the percentage of daily value as a way of 'front of pack labeling'. However, 32% of the consumer think the possibility of 'front of pack labeling' is slim. Meanwhile, 58.3% of the consumers think that it is important to have the color difference according to contents. The number of favorite nutrients in the front of pack was four or five. It seems that the recognition of current nutrition labeling has the influence on the willingness of using the future 'front of pack labeling'. Along with our study, the policy for 'front of pack labeling' has to be updated and improved constantly since 'front of pack labeling' helps consumer understand nutrition facts.
The wide spread of the Internet and personal computers does not only alter the form of content from analog to digital, but also lead to the emergence of a new digital media system that is different from analog media system. The digital media system is a convergent media that includes both public and private systems from the perspective of use-limitation, as well as storage and enjoyment systems from the perspective of use-purpose. The major goal of this research is to suggest and empirically verify an effective way of presenting the perception of places that are converged in the digital media system. Involvement and motivation are suggested as key conceptual factors and color contrast and hue are suggested as concrete design factors to make people perceive corresponding places. Results of our controlled experiment indicated that the color contrast and hue significantly affected the perception of place, and consequently, influenced usability of the digital media system. This paper ends with implications that can be used to construct appropriate perception of places for the media system of digital products.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze consumer experience with Digestive Enzymes, a digestive enzyme product that includes medicinal herbs (Multi-Zyme®). The goal was to provide basic data on improvements and marketability of future digestive enzyme products containing medicinal herbs. Methods: Qualitative research was conducted to explore the current participants' experience. In-depth interviews with a semi-structured interview guide were conducted to investigate the experience and perception of the participants. The participants were recruited using snowball sampling and purposive sampling, and a qualitative content analysis method was adopted. Credibility was ensured by adopting a member check, triangulation, and peer debriefing method. Results: In-depth interviews were completed with a total of 8 participants. The collected data were classified into 16 codes and then further divided into the following seven categories: direct buying, indirect buying, effects, questions, recommendations, positive perception, and negative perception. The categories were grouped into three themes: 'Experience of purchasing existing health foods', 'Experience of taking Multi-Zyme', and 'Opinions on selling Multi-Zyme at Korean medicine clinics'. Conclusion: The participants experienced effect of the Multi-Zyme® and were willing to recommend it around. However, the Korean medicine doctors need to inform consumers about the dose and duration when taking Multi-Zyme® to prevent abuse. Some consumers may trust Multi-Zyme® sales from Korean medicine clinics, but some held opinions that those sales were not trustworthy, so promotion and improvement are needed.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the perception and expectation made by parents, regarding the goal, methods and management of kindergarten education. The study is designed to identify social needs for the early childhood education and to produce some important information necessary for the development of education programs for kindergarteners and for the management of a kindergarten. As subjects of the study, 623 mothers of kindergartens were sampled from kindergartens. The researcher constructed a questionnaire of multiple-choice type for surveying opinions of the subjects, based on the analysis of curriculum materials published by Korean Ministry of Education. In data analysis, frequency of response on each item of the questionnaire was tabulated, and chi-square test was applied for testing the difference between independent samples. The results of the study are summarized as followings: First, parents feel kindergarten education necessary because 'interaction with peers' itself must be an important condition for socialization of younger children. For an 'ideal personality' to be pursued in kindergarten education, parents place 'moral personality' in the first priority.' And for educational objective of kindergarten they select 'development of cooperative attitude' as the most important one. Second, 'play method' is emphasized by parents as the most desirable educational method for kindergartener. Third, they think it is necessary for parents to participate in the management of kindergarten. And they also feel that parents of kindergartener should be educated on the early childhood education. Fourth, parents emphasize that the early childhood education should be integrated into a public educational system in order to provide equal educational opportunity for all preschoolers.

This research aims to investigate elementary school teacher's perception and needs of computer and information literacy education to provide basic materials so that computer and information literacy education converges with related subject and can be done in various educational contexts. In order to achieve the goal for this research, we conducted an online questionnaire survey on the current status of teachers, the perception and status of convergence education for computer and information literacy, and the needs for convergence education for computer and information literacy. As a result of the analysis, when the teacher majored in computer and information education or had experience in software education, the percentage of respondents who said that it is possible to converge for computer and information literacy is high. Also, It was found that the burden of following the class progress according to the curriculum was high. In the school environment, preparation for software tool was found to be insufficient. we suggested the strategic implications in terms of education direction, teacher training, education program, and learning tool based on the analysis results.
