직렬-병렬 시스템의 중복 설계 문제의 전역 최적화 해법에 관한 연구 (A Study on A Global Optimization Method for Solving Redundancy Optimization Problems in Series-Parallel Systems)

  • This paper is concerned with finding the global optimal solutions for the redundancy optimization problems in series-parallel systems related with system safety. This study transforms the difficult problem, which is classified as a nonlinear integer problem, into a 0/1 IP(Integer Programming) by using binary integer variables. And the global optimal solution to this problem can be easily obtained by applying GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) to the transformed 0/1 IP. From computational results, we notice that GA(Genetic Algorithm) to this problem, which is, to our knowledge, known as a best algorithm, is poor in many cases.

지구환경문제, 개발과 보전의 갈등 (Global Environmental Problem, The conflict between Development and Preservation)

  • Human being have destroyed environment through rapid industrialization, so that the world is increasingly faced with golbal environmental problem such as destruction of ozone layer, global warming., acid rain, decertification and we are heading toward impending disaster of the earth. Especially, recent environmental pollution of China from rapid economic development threatens neighboring Korea and Japan. Regional development are necessary for promotion of national prosperity, but theses regional developments must have brought about environmental and preservation. Actually there are so many conflict cases; Saemankum reclamation project, construction of nuclear waste storage facility, dam construction of China etc. Here, harmony and balance between development and preservation are needed to solve these great crux. Under theses condition, the concept of ESSD(Environmentally Sound and Sustainable Development) emerged as a global issue. And staring point to solve present environmental problems is to perceive the truth that we have inherited only one earth and hence owe a debt to preserve its environment for the benefit of the future generations.

The Numerical Prediction of the Micro Climate Change by a Residential Development Region

  • We developed a numerical model that considered the influences on the thermal environment of vegetation, water surfaces and buildings to predict micro climatic changes in a few $\textrm{km}^2$ scales; and applied this model to the Mino residential development region in Osaka Prefecture by using a nested technique. The calculated temperatures and winds in the residential development region reasonably agreed with the observed ones. We then investigated the influences on the thermal environment of the construction of a dam, the change of the green coverage rate. The results obtained from the numerical simulations were qualitatively reasonable.

  • With the global climate changes, a global concerns on building energy uses and $CO_2$ emission to improve the environment friendly has been increasingly growing. To achieve this global goal, the Korea government has been seeking an environment-friendly and sustainable development. As the results, the government started Green Building Certification Criteria system. however the certificate system has still been at the basic stage. To upgrade and advance it's level, it's necessary to identify the current status. This study aims to pick out the items requiring improvement for the Ecology of Education Facilities. We expect that the results of this study will be helpful for the next design works of certificate system.

  • 본 논문은 청소년에게 영향을 미치는 서울시의 주거 환경에 관한 요소들을 다각화하여서 분석하고 주거환경의 양적 측정방법을 제시하였다. 청소년의 성장과정에서 주거환경은 중요하다는 사실은 누구도 부정할 수 없는 사실이다. 이러한 사실에 기반하여 주거환경을 다각화로 분석하여 제시하였으므로, 이를 필요로 하는 서울시 정책 담담자 혹은 서울시 교육청에게 도움이 될 것이라 생각된다.

  • Terminal 2 of Incheon in'tl airport had made a grand opening since January 2018. Terminal 2 is currently operated by mainly Korean airline in cooperation with such skyteam members as Delta airline, Air France and Royal Dutch KLM. It is expected another three skyteam member airlines join the separate operation at terminal 2 since this coming winter. It is believed very meaningful research to analyze how separate operation of Global alliance of airlines affects the global brand image of an organization. To find out such effect, researchers have made an empirical analysis of perception of airline staffs working at terminal 2. This paper has focused on how the staffs perceive airline service quality in the changed working environment and on how significantly their perception on service has an effect on airline's global brand image with such moderating variables as organizational efficacy and organizational trust. According to empirical analysis using structural equation modeling, it was proven the variable of responsiveness among perceived airline service qualities had a direct significant effect on formulating airline's global brand image associated with joint venture between Korean airline and Delta airline. However, the other variables had a indirect significant effect on global brand image with moderating effects.

Macroeconomic Buffer Effects of Mega-FTA Formation: A CGE Analysis for Korea

  • Purpose - As global trade disputes intensify and global trade uncertainty increases due to the prevailing trade protectionism all over the world, mega-FTAs such as the RCEP and CPTPP are suggested as strategic trade policy options for export-driven small open economies, such as Korea. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of Korea's mega-FTA participation and the induced implications for the Korean economy. Design/methodology - We use a multi-region, multi-sector global CGE model, and investigate the different effects of both the US-China and US-EU trade wars on the relative changes in GDP, welfare, and trade under different trade policy regimes; (i) Korea does not participate in any mega-FTA, (ii) Korea participates in the RCEP, and (iii) Korea participates in the CPTPP. Findings - We show, among others, that though industrial effects might be largely varied, the overall enlarging of free trade zones through multilateral mega-FTA participation may contribute significantly to the macroeconomic soundness and stability of Korea, even when global trade protectionism prevails. Under RCEP and CPTPP trade regimes, Korea's GDP may increase even when the global trade environment deteriorates as trade wars occur and intensify between the US and China, or between the US and EU. It is also estimated that RCEP participation increases Korea's GDP, welfare (measured in equivalent variation), and total trade by 1.12%, $1.09 billion, and 2.54%, respectively, while CPTPP participation increases them by 0.19%, $0.92 billion, and 0.13%, respectively. Originality/value - Existing studies usually focus on the direct impacts of mega-FTA participation on macroeconomic variables such as GDP, welfare, and trade, and do not consider the possible buffer effects of a mega-FTA when the global trade environment worsens. In this paper, we analyze and quantify not only the direct impacts of RCEP and CPTPP on the main macroeconomic variables but also the possible buffer effects of the RCEP and CPTPP in the cases of the US-China and US-EU trade wars.

국내 창업환경 및 창업인식 변화에 관한 연구: 2016년과 2021년 변화를 중심으로 (A Study on the Changes in the Domestic Start-up Environment and Start-up Perception: Focusing on the changes in 2016 and 2021)

  • 본 연구는 '창조경제 추진을 위한 창업 활성화 및 저변 확대'를 목표로 창업정책을 추진한 박근혜정부(2013-2017)와 '혁신을 응원하는 창업국가 조성'을 추진한 문재인정부(2017-2022)의 창업 정책결과를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 정책 결과가 드러나는 각 정부의 후반기인 2016년과 2021년의 국내 창업환경에 대한 창업자들의 인식을 비교하고자 한다. 2016년 창업환경에 대한 인식을 조사한 데이터(GETR : Global Entrepreneurship Trend Report)를 기초로 하여 2021년 창업자들의 창업환경에 대한 인식을 비교하기 위해 종단연구방법(Longitudinal Analysis) 중 하나인 추세조사(Trend Study)를 진행했다. 연구 결과, 전반적으로 국내 창업환경에 대한 창업자의 인식은 긍정적으로 변화되었으나, 세금적절성, 투자회수용이성, 기술이전용이성 등에 대한 인식개선은 큰 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 창업환경에 대한 창업유형별 인식 차이에서 생계형 창업자들이 갖는 창업환경에 대한 인식은 기회형창업에 비해 부정적으로 나타나면서 창업유형별로 다른 결과가 나타났다. 본 연구는 창업자 및 창업경험자를 대상으로 2016년과 2021년도 국내 창업환경 및 창업 인식을 비교함으로써 창업자 입장에서 과거와 현재의 창업환경에 대한 인식 차이를 분석하였다. 특히 COVID-19로 인해 붕괴된 국내 생계형창업 및 소상공인창업에 대한 지원방안을 모색함으로써 국내 창업 활성화 및 창업환경의 질적 제고 방안을 제안하고자 한다.
