DEA 모형을 활용한 국내 발전회사의 효율성 평가 (An Efficiency Evaluation of Korea's Electric Power Generation Industries using DEA model)

  • 본 연구에서는 의사결정기관의 상대적 효율성을 측정할 수 있는 유용한 기법으로 알려진 DEA 모형을 이용하여 국내 6개 발전회사의 효율성을 비교 분석하였다. 투입방향 CCR 및 BCC 모형에 의해서 분석된 연구 결과로는 첫째, 총 발전설비용량을 투입변수로 사용하였을 때와 각 발전원별로 설비용량을 구분하여 투입변수로 사용하였을 때와 서로 다른 연구결과를 얻었다. 이는 각 발전설비의 고정비(발전설비)와 변동비(연료비) 특성이 감안된 결과로 생각된다. 둘째, 본 연구에서 논의된 발전원별 투입변수가 중장기 발전설비용량 확장계획 기간의 효율성 평가에 사용되면 각 발전회사의 효율성은 현재 수준보다 높아질 것이다. 본 연구는 발전회사의 효과적인 경영활동을 위한 유익한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Many companies are now studying these generational conflict issues and seeking countermeasures. As seen in the recent performance-based pay issue, the MZ generation is boldly showing their intention unlike the previous generation. This study focuses on LX Hausys' education program to overcome the generation gap. As a representative field education program of LXHausys, it is a longevity education program that was developed and operated at the end of 14 years and has been in operation so far. By acknowledging and understanding the generation gap through this educational program, it was possible to see that they could sympathize and accept each other one step further, and that trust in each other was formed on the basis of it. The success factors of the generation empathy program were identified as the willingness to share perceptions between labor and management, participatory education programs, active participation of members, and overcoming generation empathy. Through such education, the organization should continuously raise the issue of generational empathy and allow members to recognize it as an object to overcome. To this end, efforts should be made to overcome generational differences.

Factors Influencing Post-Adoption Resistance to Self-Order Kiosks at Fast-Food Restaurants: A Focus on the New-Silver Generation

  • Due to the phenomenon of aging, a new consumer segment known as the "new-silver generation" is emerging. Unlike the previous silver generation, this generation possesses significant economic power and consuming willingness, attracting attention from consumer goods companies. However, both the new-silver generation and the elderly face challenges in adopting contactless or self-service technologies such as self-order kiosks, resulting in negative reactions. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the attitude and response of the newsilver generation towards kiosks, as well as the factors influencing their resistance to such technology. By applying theoretical perspectives from the innovation resistance model, technostress theory, and the value-based model, this study identifies influencing factors for innovation resistance among the new-silver generation when using contactless technologies implemented in fast-food restaurants. The findings indicate that a lower awareness of new technologies and services corresponds to decreased adoption resistance, while a higher perceived value leads to more positive behaviors and attitudes among the new-silver generation utilizing kiosks at fast-food restaurants.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 성장에 따른 반도체 기업들의 미래 전략 (The Future Strategy of Semiconductor Companies with the Growth of Cloud Computing)

  • This study proposes the future strategy of semiconductor companies corresponding to the growth of cloud computing. Cloud computing is the delivery of IT resources such as hardware and software as a service rather than a product, and it is expected to significantly change the IT market. By employing the scenario planning method, this study develops a total of eight scenario cases, and presents the three possible scenarios including the best market, the worst market, and the neutral market scenario. This study suggests the future strategy of semiconductor companies based on the best market scenario (increasing firms' IT expenditure, increasing the complexity and performance of devices, the frequent replacement of devices). The suggested future strategy of semiconductor includes that the semiconductor companies need to strengthen their price competitiveness, secure the next generation technologies, and develop the better capability for market prediction with the growth of cloud computing. This study will help semiconductor companies set up the strategy direction of technology development, and understand the connections between cloud computing and the memory semiconductor industry. This study has practical implications for semiconductor industry to prepare for the future of cloud computing.

발전비용의 부하역률 감도를 이용한 효율적인 역률 개선 연구 (A Study on the Effective Enhancement of the Load Power Factor Using the Load Power Factor Sensitivity of Generation Cost)

  • The low load power factor causes various problems such as the increase of the power loss and the voltage instability. The demand of reactive power increases continuously with the growth of active power and the restructuring of electric power companies makes the integrated management of ractive power troublesome, from which the systematic control of load power factor is required. In this paper, the load power factor sensitivity of the generation cost is derived and its effects in supplying the reactive power and enhancing the load power factor are analyzed in a small-scale power system. The load power factor sensitivity of the generation cost is applied for determining the locations and capacities of reactive power compensation devices. It is shown that the generation cost can be reduced and the system power factor can be enhanced effectively using the load power factor sensitivity.

A study for production simulation model generation system based on data model at a shipyard

  • Simulation technology is a type of shipbuilding product lifecycle management solution used to support production planning or decision-making. Normally, most shipbuilding processes are consisted of job shop production, and the modeling and simulation require professional skills and experience on shipbuilding. For these reasons, many shipbuilding companies have difficulties adapting simulation systems, regardless of the necessity for the technology. In this paper, the data model for shipyard production simulation model generation was defined by analyzing the iterative simulation modeling procedure. The shipyard production simulation data model defined in this study contains the information necessary for the conventional simulation modeling procedure and can serve as a basis for simulation model generation. The efficacy of the developed system was validated by applying it to the simulation model generation of the panel block production line. By implementing the initial simulation model generation process, which was performed in the past with a simulation modeler, the proposed system substantially reduced the modeling time. In addition, by reducing the difficulties posed by different modeler-dependent generation methods, the proposed system makes the standardization of the simulation model quality possible.

  • A virtual power plant (VPP) technology is a cluster of distributed generation installations. VPP system is that integrates several types of distributed generation sources, so as to give a reliable overall power supply. Virtual power plant systems play a key role in the smart grids concept and the move towards alternative sources of energy. They ensure improved integration of the renewable energy generation into the grids and the electricity market. VPPs not only deal with the supply side, but also help manage demand and ensure reliability of grid functions through demand response (DR) and other load shifting approaches in real time. In this paper, utilizing a variety of distributed generation resources(such as emergency generator, commercial generator, energy storage device), activation scheme of the virtual power plant technology. In addition, through the analysis of the domestic electricity market, it describes a scheme that can be a virtual power plant to participate in electricity market. It attempts to derive the policy support recommendation in order to obtain the basics to the prepared in position of power generation companies for the commercialization of virtual power plant.

  • This research addresses the customers' reaction on enterprise CRM(customer relationship management) activities. Most of companies adopt CRM solution expecting revenue generation through customers' repurchasing, while customers accept to provide their personal information expecting some benefit from companies. Previous studies pointed out that many commercial organizations had difficulties yet to meet their goal of CRM due to lack of internal strategies. Moreover, the researches were focused only on companys' point of view. However, this paper finds the reason why companies' expectation does not fit and suggests the way to reduce mutual gap of expectation for successful CRM.

퐁력전원이 피크타임과 발전설비구성에 미치는 영향분석: 제3차 신재생에너지 기술개발 및 이용.보급 기본계획 기준 (Wind Power Generation: Its Impact on Peak Time and Future Power Mix)

  • Although renewable power is regarded a way to active response to climate change, the stability of whole power system could be a serious problem in the future due to its uncertainties such as indispatchableness and intermittency. From this perspective, the peak time impact of stochastic wind power generation is estimated using simulation method up to year 2030 based on the 3rd master plan for the promotion of new and renewable energy on peak time. Result shows that the highest probability of wind power impact on peak time power supply could be up to 4.41% in 2030. The impact of wind power generation on overall power mix is also analyzed up to 2030 using SCM model. The impact seems smaller than expectation, however, the estimated investment cost to make up such lack of power generation in terms of LNG power generation facilities is shown to be a significant burden to existing power companies.

연료비 이외의 항목도 발전시장의 변동비로 간주할 수 있는가? (Can Non-Fuel Costs be Considered as Variable Costs in Generation Market?)

  • 2005년 5개 발전사업자는 변동비 반영시장에 기존의 연료비 외에 연료사용 전후에 관련된 부대비용도 포함시킬 것을 건의하였다. 발전량과의 OLS 분석을 통해 관련을 검토한 결과 이 같은 변동비 희망항목이 발전량과 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 갖고 있다는 일반적인 성향을 발견할 수 없어서 변동비로 인정할만한 종합적인 근거는 취약하였다. 변동비 희망항목 중 몇몇 항목이 특정 발전설비에 대해 OLS 분석에서 통계적 유의성을 갖는 등 변동비가 될 수 있는 가능성을 보이고 있다. 그러나 비용산정의 시차, 재고관리와 이에 따른 회계처리 방법 등의 문제로 인하여 발전량과 유의적인 통계적 관계를 보이지 못할 수 있다. 따라서 변동비 희망항목에 대해서는 통일된 기준을 세우고 자료를 표준화하는 작업이 선행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.
