대향타겟스퍼터링법에 의한 FBAR용 AZO(ZnO:Al) 박막의 제작 (Preparation AZO(ZnO:Al) Thin Film for FBAR. by FTS Method)

  • In this study, the AZO thin films were prepared as a function of oxygen gas flow ratio at room temperature by FTS(Facing Targets Sputtering) apparatus using Zn:Al(metal)-Zn:Al(metal) or Zn(metal)-ZnO:Al(ceramic). The film thickness, crystalline and electric properties of AZO thin film was evaluated by $\alpha$-step, XRD and 4-point probe. In the results, the resistivity of AZO thin film was shown the lowest value about 8${\times}$10$^{-2}$ $\Omega$-cm(Zn:Al-Zn:Al), 3${\times}$10$^{-1}$ $\Omega$-cm(Zn-ZnO:Al) at the oxygen gas flow ratio 0.3. And the AZO thin film has good crystalline at oxygen gas flow ration 0.4, using Zn:Al-Zn:Al targets.

  • Y-jet nozzle has a wide fuel flow rate range and turn-down ratio, thus, it is used in industrial boilers, furnace and agricultural atomizer. However, it has asymmetrical spray characteristics due to the nozzle design factors. Therefore, in this study, asymmetric spraying characteristics of the elliptical Y-jet nozzle was studied by using the lab-scale spray apparatus. As a result, the elliptical Y-jet nozzle had lower gas mass flow rate than circular Y-jet nozzle at same gas pressure, because of bigger shear stress due to the wider inner surface at the elliptical Y-jet nozzle. Larger SMD was measured on the elliptical Y-jet nozzle than the circular Y-jet nozzle. When SMD was measured in the X_Axis direction at the same gas mass flow rate, the elliptical Y-jet nozzle with an aspect ratio of 2:1 showed greater asymmetry than the others.

  • In general, natural gas engine converted from gasoline engine has disadvantage of power decrease. In order to increase power output in natural gas engine, the improvement of in-cylinder flow motion has been believed as the most effective method. In this study, the geometry of combustion chamber in 4 valve DOHC natural gas engine is modified, and in-cylinder flow patterns is analyized. Also engine performance is evaluated according to the modification of in-cylinder flow motion.

Influence of Nitrogen/argon Flow Ratio on the Crystallization of Hafnium Oxynitride Films

  • Hafnium oxynitride films have been deposited onto a silicon substrate by means of radio frequency (RF) reactive sputtering using a hafnium dioxide $(HfO_2)$ target with a variety of nitrogen! argon $(N_2/Ar)$ gas flow ratios. Auger electron spectroscopy (AES)results confirm that $N_2$ was successfully incorporated into the HfON films. An increase in the $N_2/Ar$ gas flow ratio resulted in metal oxynitride formation. The films prepared with a $N_2/Ar$ flow ratio of 20/20 sccm show (222), (530), and (611) directions of $HfO_2N_2$, and the (-111), (311) directions of $HfO_2$. From X-ray reflectometry measurements, it can be concluded that with $N_2$ incorporated into the HfON films, the film density increases. The density increases from 9.8 to $10.1g/cm^3$. XRR also reveals that the surface roughness is related to the $N_2/Ar$ flow ratio.

  • 본 연구에서는 2상 횡분류의 평균 유동특성을 비교적 정확히 예측할 수 있는 방법을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 2상 기체 분류속에 유입되는 자유흐름의 질량 유입을 Keffer와 Baines의 유입함수를 이용하기로 하며, 입자와 기체분류사이의 궤적 이탈을 고려하기로 한다. 이런 모델을 이용하여 2상 횡분류의 분출초기의 입자와 기 체분류의 속도비(particle to gas velocity ratio at the jet exit)가 유동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다.

  • In this paper the upwind flux difference splitting Navier-Stokes method has been applied to study quasi one-dimensional nozzle flow and axisymmetric sphere-cone($5^{\circ}$) flow for the perfect gas, the equilibrium and the nonequilibrium chemically reacting hypersonic flow. The effective gamma(${ \tilde{\gamma}}$), enthalpy to internal energy ratio was used to couple chemistry with the fluid mechanics for equilibrium chemically reacting air. The influences of the various altitude(30km, 50km) at Mach number(15.0, 20.0) were investigated. The equilibrium shock position was located farthest downstream when compared with those of perfect gas in a quasi one-dimensional nozzle. The equilibrium shock thickness over the blunt body region was much thinner than that of perfect gas shock.

수평형 폐열회수보일러 배기탈질 SCR시스템의 최적설계를 위한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Study on Optimization of the SCR Process Design in Horizontal HRSG for NOx Reduction)

  • The SCR (selective catalytic reduction) system is highly-effective technique for NOx reduction from exhaust gases. In this study, the effects of the direction and size of nozzle and the ammonia injection concentration on the performance of SCR system are analyzed by using the computational fluid dynamics method. When the nozzle is arranged in zigzaged direction which is normal to exhausted gas flow, it is shown that the uniformity of gas flow and the NH3/NO molar ratio is improved remarkably. With the change of the ammonia injection concentration from 0.2 vol%(wet) to 1.0 vol%(wet), the uniformity of gas flow shows a good results. As the size of nozzle diameter changes from 6 mm to 12 mm, the uniformity of gas flow is maintained well. It is shown that the uniformity of the $NH_3/NO$ molar ratio becomes better with decreasing the ammonia injection concentration and the size of nozzle diameter.

  • An analysis program of specific impulse has been developed for a gas generator cycle rocket engine. The program has been verified by comparing the published performance data of the same cycle engine with RP-1 as fuel. A model for pressure drop of regenerative cooling and film cooling mass flow rate has been suggested to satisfy the necessary cooling condition with Jet-A1 as fuel. The engine mixture ratio is defined by the film cooling mass flow rate and the core mixture ratio. The optimal condition of the combustor pressure and engine mixture ratio has been found for maximum specific impulse.

  • Recently, as the fine dust is increased and the emission regulations of diesel engines are strengthened, interest in diesel soot filtration devices is rapidly increased. In particular, there is a demand for technology development for higher efficiency of diesel exhaust gas after-treatment devices. As part of this, many studies conducted to increase the exhaust gas treatment efficiency by improving the flow uniformity of the exhaust gas in the DPF and reducing the pressure drop between the inlet and outlet of disel particle filter (DPF). In this study, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation was performed when exhaust gas flows into the canning reduction device equipped with a 13" asymmetric DPF in order to maintain the flow uniformity in the diesel exhaust system and reduce the pressure. In particular, a study was conducted to find the geometry with the smallest pressure drop and the highest flow uniformity by simulating the DPF I/O ratio, exhaust gas temperature, inlet-outlet pressure and flow uniformity according to the geometry and hole size of distributor.

나선형 흡기포트의 유동특성이 과급식 디젤엔진의 성능 및 배출가스에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Flow Characteristics of Helical Intake Port on the Performance and Emission in a Turbocharged DI Diesel Engine.)

  • This study is to consider that the helical intake port flow and fuel injection system have effects on the characteristics of engine performance and emissions in a turbocharged DI diesel engine of the displacement 9.4L. The swirl ratio for ports was modified by hand-working and measured by impulse torque swirl meter, For the effects on performance and emission, the brake torque, BSFC were measured by engine dynamometer and NOx, smoke were by gas analyzer and smoke meter. As a result of steady flow test, when the valve eccentricity ratio are closed to cylinder wall, the flow coefficient and swirl intensity are increased, And as the swirl is increased, the mean flow coefficient is decreasing, whereas the gulf factor is increasing. Also, through engine test its can be expected to meet performance and emission by the following applied parameter; the swirl ratio is 2.43, injection timing is BTDC $13^{\circ}$CA and compression is 15.5.
