Literature Review of Extended Reality Research in Consumer Experience: Insight From Semantic Network Analysis and Topic Modeling

  • Extended Reality (XR) technology, the umbrella term covering hyper-realistic technologies, is known to enhance consumer experience and is therefore developing rapidly and being utilized across various industries. Growing studies have examined XR technology and consumer experience; however, the literature has failed to fully explore hyper-realistic technology through a holistic perspective. To fill this gap, we analyzed 720 Korean and international articles through semantic network analysis and topic modeling and identified the literature on XR research in consumer experience. As a result, we extracted six main topics: "Tourism," "Buying Behavior," "XR Technology Acceptance," "Virtual Space," "Game," and "XR Environment." The results provide comprehensive insight on XR technology in consumer experience, whereas the literature is bounded on the production side as revealing a lack of academic discourse on consumer rights and responsibilities. Research reflecting the consumer welfare perspective is, therefore, recommended for future studies.

Consumers attitude towards Internet banking services in an underdeveloped country: A case of Pokhara, Nepal

  • The application of Internet technology has created enormous impact on banking sector with the implementation of many techno-oriented services like Internet banking, EFT, branchless banking, Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions etc. Study of customer's attitude in terms of trust, perceived risk and ease of use of a particular technology is as an important parameter for acceptance or rejection of a technology. To explore the customers'attitude for Internet banking this research is undertaken. The research is carried out in Pokhara valley which is the second largest city and tourism capital of Nepal. The study employs descriptive research design with stratified sampling procedure for eight top commercial banks. A set of 25 customers is taken from each selected 8 banks making a sample size of 200 respondents. A fixed set of question related to demographic factors is provided personally or by visiting the location of the customers of Internet banking service and collected accordingly. Reliability test is performed using Cronbach's alpha and data is analyzed using inferential statistics to present the results of the study. This study provides knowledge on the current scenario of Internet banking and helps banks in cost saving, mass customization, product innovation, improved marketing and communication. This study is very important for financial institutions like banks, government agencies and business houses to understand the perception of customers towards Internet banking and technology as a whole. The study also supplements the gap in literature on technology and banking in Nepal and serves as an important knowledge base.

한국어판 불안한 느낌과 사고에 대한 믿음성 질문지의 심리측정적 특성 (Psychometric Properties of the Korean Version of the Believability of Anxious Feelings and Thoughts Questionnaire (K-BAFT))

  • Objective : Cognitive fusion, or believability, in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), refers to the tendency to become entangled in one's thoughts or feelings. It is an important factor in the development and maintenance of anxiety disorders. However, there is a lack of validated self-report measures for cognitive fusion and defusion, particularly for individuals with anxiety. To address this gap, this study aimed to evaluate the Korean Version of Believability of Anxious Feelings and Thoughts Questionnaire (K-BAFT). Methods : A total of 608 university students and 85 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) took part in this study. They were asked to complete various psychological measures, including the K-BAFT, other measures of ACT processes, and symptom scales. The researchers then analyzed the psychometric characteristics of the K-BAFT. Results : The results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses indicated that the three-factor structure of the K-BAFT, which was reported in the original study, was also found in the university sample. Additionally, both the student and the OCD group demonstrated strong internal consistency (α=0.86 and 0.91, respectively). In the university sample, the K-BAFT showed a strong correlation with the Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire (rs=0.53, p<0.001). However, it had a weak correlation with symptoms scales for depression, anxiety, and stress (all rs<0.32). Furthermore, the OCD group had higher scores on the K-BAFT compared to the university sample. Conclusion : K-BAFT is considered to be a reliable and valid self-report tool for measuring cognitive fusion with anxious thoughts and feelings.

  • 기존의 신호교차로에 비해 상대적으로 효율적이고 안전한 것으로 평가되고 있는 회전교차로(roundabout)가 최근 전국적으로 설치 운영 중에 있으며 이에 따라 회전교차로의 효율성과 안전성을 개선하기 위한 다양한 연구가 수행 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재까지 시도된 적이 없는 회전교차로와 커넥티드 차량(connected vehicle) 기법의 접목을 통해 Smart Roundabout이라는 새로운 개념의 첨단교통정보시스템을 개발하고 미시적 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 평가하고자 한다. Smart Roundabout은 교차로를 회전하는 차량에 장착된 단말기(on-board equipment, OBE)를 통해 차량들의 주행정보(위치, 속도, 차두시간 등)를 커넥티드 차량(connected vehicle) 기법을 통해 전달받고 회전교차로에 접근하는 차량 내부의 단말기를 통해 교차로 진입에 대한 상환판단을 도와 안전성을 확보함과 동시에 보다 짧은 차두시간(critical headway)을 구현하여 회전교차로의 용량을 증대시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

중앙선침범사고 예측모델의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Median Encroachment Accident Model)

  • 본 논문은 특정 도로조건에 대하여 어떤 형태의 중앙선침범 예방시설물을 설치할 것인가에 대한 비용-효율적인 기준 마련을 목표로 삼고, 그 첫 단계로 중앙선침범사고 예측모델을 개발하였다. 예측모델은 중앙선침범 예측과 침범후 대향차량과의 충돌 확률로 이루어진다. 중앙선침범 예측은 교통량에 관계되며, 이는 Hutchinson과 Kennedy(1966)의 연구에서 인용하였다. 중앙선을 침범한 후 대향차량과의 충돌 확률은 중앙선을 침범하는 차량의 침범각의 분포에 따라 주행거리와 주행시간을 계산하고, 음지수분포로 가정한 대향차량의 출현에 간격수락이론을 적용하였다. 제시된 중앙선침범사고 예측모델을 통하여 예측된 사고건수는 사고감소에 대한 편익을 계산할 수 있게 하며, 이는 중앙선침범예방시설 설치비용 계산과 함께 경제성분석을 가능하게 하여 비용-효율적인 중앙선침범예방시설 설치기준마련에 도움을 줄 것이다.

원전주변 갑상선암 발병 피해 소송 사건 이후 원자력에 대한 지역주민 인식 분석 (Local Residents' Perception Analysis of Nuclear Power after the Thyroid Cancer Damage Lawsuit Adjacent to the Nuclear Plant)

  • 본 연구는 부산광역시 거주민을 대상으로 원전주변 갑상선암 피해 소송 이후 원자력발전소 인근지역과 시내권에 거주하는 주민간의 인식 차이를 분석하여 국민들의 원자력에 대한 수용성 수준을 판별하고자 하였다. 설문조사는 총 551명(원전인근지역 269명, 시내권 282명)을 대상으로 대인면접을 통해 이루어졌으며, 분석 결과, 원전 주변 갑상선암 발병 피해 소송 사건을 계기로 국민들의 원자력에 대한 인식에 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 원전인근지역 주민의 경우 사건 이후 원자력에 대한 불신과 불안감이 높아져, 원자력에 대한 부정적 인식이 강해졌음을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면 시내권 주민들은 원전 주변 갑상선암 발병 피해 소송 사건에도 불구하고 사건 이전보다 더욱 원자력 수용성에 긍정적인 인식을 갖는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 원자력 안전성과 신뢰성에 대한 인식은 부정적인 것으로 분석되어 원자력 수용성과 상반되는 이중적인 인식을 보였다. 이는 부산광역시 시내권 주민들의 경우 원자력의 편익, 필요성 등을 원칙적으로 인정하나 안전성에 대해서는 의심하는 것으로 판단되며 향후 원자력의 이용 확대를 지속적으로 추진하기 위해서는 국민의 올바른 이해와 신뢰 그리고 무엇보다 국민 또는 원전인근지역 주민들과 충분한 의사소통이 필요하다고 사료된다.

스마트 어플리케이션 동향과 디지털 정책 시사점 (Recent trends of smart applications and implications for digital policy)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 활발히 진화하고 있는 디지털 융합 관련 스마트 어플리케이션을 파악하고 디지털 정책 시사점을 제시하였다. 스마트 어플리케이션에 관한 기존의 많은 연구가 사용자 효용과 기술수용성 등을 중심으로 진행된 반면 정책 관점에 초점을 맞춘 연구는 상대적으로 미흡하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구의 갭을 메우고자 8개의 핵심 스마트 어플리케이션을 파악하고 이에 대한 삶의 질, 공공 이익, 역작용 등을 체계화하고 델파이 방법론에 기초한 실증분석을 통하여 검증하였다. 8개의 핵심 어플리케이션은 스마트워크와 스마트 상거래로 구분하여 각각 4개의 대표적 어플리케이션을 채택하였다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 관련분야의 디지털 정책 연구에 유용한 기초 결과로 사용될 수 있다.

교차로(交叉路)에서의 교통통제방법(交通統制方法) 선정기준(選定基準)에 관(関)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Criteria for an Optimal Traffic Control at an Intersection System)

  • This paper presents a practical guidence for determining an optimal traffic control system at intersections in the urban areas in Korea. Two alternative systems, unsignalized and signalized, are considered. For analyzing the unsignalized system, two kinds of simulation model are developed ; gap acceptance model and first -in -first - out model. For the signalized system the total delay function for general arrival distribution is developed under the assumption that departure time is constant and it is used to find an optimal cycle time. Finally, the results in these two alternative systems are compared under the minimum average delay criterion and an optimal traffic control system is determined. This approach supports the decision making whether to install a traffic signal system in an intersection with given traffic flows and, if installed, determines what is the optimal cycle time and how the traffic signal phases are divided. And it also gives upper bounds of traffic flows to be passed in the unsignalized and the signalized system, which can be effectively used whenever an intersection is designed.

FLB Event Analysis with regard to the Fuel Failure

  • Detailed analysis of Feedwater Line Break (FLB) event for the fuel failure point of view are lack because the event was characterized as the increase in reactor coolant system (RCS) pressure. Up to now, the potential of the rapid system heatup case has been emphasized and comprehensively studied. The cooldown effects of FLB event is considered to be bounded by the Steam Line Break (SLB) event since the cooldown effect of SLB event is larger than that of the FLB event. This analysis provides a new possible path which can cause the fuel failure. The new path means that the fuel failure can occur under the heatup scenario because the Pressurizer Safety Valves (PSVs) open before the reactor trips. The 1000 MWe typical C-E plant FLB event assuming Loss of Offsite Power (LOOP) at the turbine trip has been analyzed as an example and the results show less than 1% of the fuel failure. The result is well within the acceptance criteria. In addition to that, a study was accomplished to prevent the fuel failure for the heatup scenario case as an example. It is found that giving the proper pressure gap between High Pressurizer Pressure Trip (HPPT) analysis setpoint and the minimum PSV opening pressure could prevent the fuel failure.

시스템 개발방법론의 구현 프로세스에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Implementation Process of Information System Development Methodology)

  • Our study focuses on the implementation of IS development methodology as the innovation of IS organization. We have two main research objectives. We Intend to understand the critical factors affecting the implementation process of IS methodology. We also intend to deeply analyze the relationship among the implementation processes of methodology. The whole innovation process is divided into detailed four levels tilth dynamic and evolving Point of clew a cognition level, an adoption level, an acceptance level and an usage level. The results of our study are as follows. The main factors affecting initiation level of the IS methodology are the innovativeness of IS members, the existence of champion manager, training, the existence of IS performance gap, executive supports for IS organization, and the relative advantage of IS development methodology At the Implementation level, It is understood that the existence of champion manager executive supports, training and the relative advantage of innovation are the main factors. However, the complexity of Innovation is a megative factor about the quality of accepting and using the methodology In Innovation process. In performing the Innovation process, the Previous level gives very notable affection to the continuous next level. However it's also understood that positive attitude of adoption level does not directly affect the quality of using Innovation. Therefore, IS managers must pay attention to manacle each level of the Innovation Process to successfully accomplish the Implementation of IS methodology.
