Recently, the level of uncertainty in R&D investment for an enterprise has increased due to technological development and industrial changes. Accordingly it is necessary for an enterprise to forecast the future or foresight the future technologies. But, the fact that the methodology used in predicting future technology is suitable for large project makes enterprise difficult to forecast the future technologies or trends. Thus, this study seeks for available methodology for future technology foresight from enterprise standpoint. The methodology proposed in this research is based on the scenario model, especially focused on the customer needs and future society change.

The field of textile and fashion is regard to be sensitive to trend, however, the professional fashion information planning company for trend forecasting has not settled down in Korea. This study was designed to propose systemizing for fashion trend information planning in domestic fashion information service market. The empirical research was conducted by analysing in-depth interview data and news-scrap contents about each fashion information planning company. The result are as follows; First, fashion information service showed a little difference according to the type of fashion information companies, but they provided not only general fashion trends but also external market environmental information, survey-based consumer information and various segmented market research reports including academic information. Second, the fashion information planning process is largely divided into 3 stages; trend analysis, trend forecasting, trend application. The trend application step is the stage which connects the fashion information service industry to the fashion business. Thirdly, as a result of the competitive power evaluation for fashion information planning, the domestic fashion information planning companies came to reveal the fact that the possibility of carrying out and information analysis power were weak, however, how to present trend information had a relatively competitive. Consequently, this study is expected to play a role in understanding the importance of fashion trend information, and further ahead it would be helpful to organize the curriculum of fashion information planning subject in order to educate the future fashion executives.

기업은 생존을 위해 수많은 정보 속에서 빠르게 상황을 인식하고 미래를 예측하기 위해 정량데이터 분석뿐만 아니라 비정형데이터 분석에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으나, 철강산업에서는 아직 활발하게 활용되지는 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 글로벌 철강회사인 P사(社)의 사례를 중심으로 텍스트 마이닝을 이용한 산업트렌드 분석을 시도해 경쟁사 전략, 관심국가의 시장변화, 해외사업장 여론 등을 파악 하는데 기여할 수 있다는 가능성을 발견하였다. 사례 분석은 철강산업을 10개의 카테고리로 분류하고 각각 10개의 주제를 선정하여 분석을 시도하고, 이중 의미 있는 변화를 발견하면 심층 분석하는 형태로 진행하였다. 이번 P사(社)의 사례를 통해 텍스트 마이닝을 통한 산업트렌드 분석이 더 의미 있기 위해서는 목적을 명확히 하고, 관련 키워드를 체계화한다면 경쟁사 전략 파악, 리스크관리, 정량데이터 예측 보정 등 많은 부분에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This study investigated the influence of cultural and general trend of the times on fashion trends and the hybridization of these trends. The objectives of this study were to suggest new approach method of the fashion forecasting and to find out the cultural meanings and values of fashion. Key words that explains fashion trend from spring/summer of 1995 to fall/winter of 2002 were collected from professional fashion trend journals. These terms were analysed with domain analysis based on the semantic relationship. The frequency of their appearance in each season and the aspect of their appearance in each season were analysed. The hybrids of the fashion trends were analysed longitudinally and cross-sectionally as well by investigating the cover terms that were found as a result of domain analysis. The method used in this study can be applied to future study of fashion trend in that it offers an objective view of fashion trend and can allow researchers to study fashion trend in a concrete way.

Currently, brand apartment is positioning itself as one of the representative Korean housing. This allows to look into the planning side and cultural side of the Korean housing. The purpose of this study is to review the previous trend in apartment housing according to period, and to verify the trend of current Korean apartment housing by visiting the model houses in PanGyo, the new city. This study has chosen case study method of 11 cases which had been sorted out in different floor plan type and size. The findings of the study is as followed. In the aspect of spatial arrangement, it had been similar to the previous apartment plan but had a new attempt to break out from the old apartment structure by bring in round shaped living room. Also, due to the legalization of balcony expansion, various tries had been made to increase the level of function and to allow variety of usage. In the environmental aspect, the concept of wellbeing and health had been a great importance in apartment planning. In the digital aspect, various digital systems had been introduce for convenience and safety via home network system. Furthermore, based on the various lifestyle, the storytelling design concept applied in the interior design, which will have to effect the future model house design planning. Nonetheless, the current emphasis on universal design is expected to be treated one of the important concept in Korean apartment planning. This study has a significant meaning on readdressing current trend in Korean housing and to provide informations for future directions on Korean apartment planning.

Our research is aimed at predicting recent trend and leading technology for the future and providing optimal Nano technology trend information by analyzing Nano technology trend. Under recent global market situation, Users' needs and the technology to meet these needs are changing in real time. At this point, Nano technology also needs measures to reduce cost and enhance efficiency in order not to fall behind the times. Therefore, research like trend analysis which uses search data to satisfy both aspects is required. This research consists of four steps. We collect data and select keywords in step 1, detect trends based on frequency and create visualization in step 2, and perform analysis using data mining in step 3. This research can be used to look for changes of trend from three perspectives. This research conducted analysis on changes of trend in terms of major classification, Nano technology of 30's, and key words which consist of relevant Nano technology. Second, it is possible to provide real-time information. Trend analysis using search data can provide information depending on the continuously changing market situation due to the real-time information which search data includes. Third, through comparative analysis it is possible to establish a useful corporate policy and strategy by apprehending the trend of the United States which has relatively advanced Nano technology. Therefore, trend analysis using search data like this research can suggest proper direction of policy which respond to market change in a real time, can be used as reference material, and can help reduce cost.

The purpose of this study was to investigate conditions conducting continuous business of men and women manager owned small apparel stores, and to compare differences on demographical characteristics of the managers, and then to reveal what conditions were important to make a profit in future by gender. Data were collected from 150 (71 from men and 79 from women) managers owned small apparel stores in Busan. The results showed as follows; Conditions conducting continuous business of women and men manager were five factors such as manger's commitment, grasping capability of the trend, employee, planning and capability on financial control. There were significant differences in the perception of gender, education, managerial period, non employment/employment and non experience/experience between women and men manager on the conditions. Also, in this study we revealed that men importantly perceived planning factor and women grasping capability of the trend to make a profit in future.

This article considers the trend of Korea physical therapy reaearch. Because physical therapy research is important for the continued growth of the physical therapy profesion. Such research results in improved patient care and heightens the professional standing of the physical therapy field. The purpose of this article is to discuss a current research trend and to suggest a direction for developing a physical therapy research. We discussed a research design, purposes, and methods. Measurement are fundamental to the practice of physical therapy. The physical therapy evaluation is the foundation for the measurement of the outcome of our therapertic intervention. And we must measure thess outcomes. Achieving a high quality of physical therapy practice requires us to evaluate the client, selecting and adminstering a variety of tests and measurent. For the future study, physical therapist has a good treatment model and research program for evaluating and assessment.

This study aimed not only to analyze the trend of housing environment design through the advertisements for sale of apartments to be completed after 2006 but also to discuss the future trend of housing environment on the basis of the results of analysis. Building companies used to collect data were limited to those that ranked within the 30th place in the Construction Association of Korea's Contract Ranking from 2001 to 2004. The contens of advertisements appeared on their websites were used. The contents analyzed were also limited to 1) concept and method of design and 2) main advanced systems.

Operation of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) plants requires an effective maintenance strategy. To this end, the long-term and short-term trend of faults, such as mechanical and electrical troubles, should be identified so as to take proactive approach for ensuring the smooth and productive operation. However, it is not an easy task to predict the fault trend in LNG plants. Many variables and unexpected conditions make it quite difficult for the facility manager to be well prepared for future faulty conditions. This paper presents a model to predict the fault trend in a LNG plant. ARIMA (Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average) model is combined with Wavelet Transform to enhance the prediction capability of the proposed model. Test results show the potential of the proposed model for the preventive maintenance strategy.
