The purpose of this paper is to study on ownership and access in future library. For this purpose, this is criticized about recognition regarding future library of Library and Information Science researchers in Korea. And, this is reviewed the present stages of collection development and a role of future books, future libraries and future librarians in Korea. The result of this study is known unrealistic reality analysis and forecast surrounding future library discourse and at the same time that following Western model is not fit for future library in Korea. This study is proposed resolving of problems to access based on physical collection in future library.

Recently, the level of uncertainty in R&D investment for an enterprise has increased due to technological development and industrial changes. Accordingly it is necessary for an enterprise to forecast the future or foresight the future technologies. But, the fact that the methodology used in predicting future technology is suitable for large project makes enterprise difficult to forecast the future technologies or trends. Thus, this study seeks for available methodology for future technology foresight from enterprise standpoint. The methodology proposed in this research is based on the scenario model, especially focused on the customer needs and future society change.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Youth Future Career Program for adolescents and to look into the effects of the program on the future efficacy. Through the program, adolescents would predict the future, explore alternative futures to solve future problems, find the shape of the future society they want and desire. In addition, they will discover or create future jobs. In this study, the Youth Future Career Program was developed into four modules: Future Understanding, Future Participation, Future-self, and Future Management. Ninety-three students in K University's Gifted Education Center participated in the Future Career Program (62 males and 31 females, 62 middle school students, and 31 high school students). The students responded to 14 questions about the future efficacy of the Youth before and after the program. Statistically significant differences were observed in 8 out of 14 questions (p<.05). In particular, the abilities of the participants were improved as follows: to apply newly learned things to society, to evaluate the current problems, to develop critical thinking to solve the problem, and to communicate with members of society.

Technology foresight is the process which investigate long term science, technology, economic and social effects to derive strategic R&D and future promising technologies. This study shows that new systematic framework based on technology classifications of space and action in human society, future six senses was employed as a new research method for effective process of future technology foresight. In addition, to increase the acceptance, forecasting, and uniqueness of new technology, we derived major issues of future society and demand-base products and services through the new process of ICT future mega trend analysis, the findings and selections of future technology, and future scenario based on human six senses.

At a time when libraries are attracting attention as institutions and spaces that can foster future capabilities, this study conducts a general survey of the current status of public library programs related to the future capabilities and investigate the social awareness on libraries and future capabilities through big data analysis. As a result, first, programs are being planned and provided with the keyword of future capabilities, but most of them are limited to makerspace programs, edutech programs, and experience programs. Also, the detailed types of programs are limited to 3D print, coding, AR, VR, etc. In addition, current library programs related to future capabilities are not subdivided by each competency, these programs are provided in the comprehensive sense of future competency. Second, in the awareness survey through big data analysis, education, future capabilities, and libraries were found to be highly frequent, and it was seen that library reading, books, culture, and programs were related to strengthening future capabilities. Accordingly, in the future, libraries need to develop and provide systematic programs to cultivate future capabilities, and there is also a need to develop future capabilities improvement programs that take the life cycle into account.

This research analyzed on the future energy society of Korea in 2030 using system thinking approach. Key uncertainty factors determining the future energy society were analyzed in a multi disciplinary view point such as politics, economy, society, ecology and technology. Three causal loop diagrams for the future energy system in Korea and related policy leverages were shown as well. 'Global economic trends', 'change of industrial structure' and 'energy price' were identified as key uncertainty factors determining the Korean energy future. Three causal loop diagrams named as 'rate of energy self－sufficiency and alternative energy production', 'economic activity and energy demand' and 'Excavation of new growth engines' were developed. We integrated those causal loop diagrams into one to understand the entire energy system of the future, proposed three strategic scenarios(optimistic, pessimistic and most likely) and discussed implications and limits of this research.

This is to summarize a joint discussion on the future of EAMA in EAMA6. The emphasis was placed on the near future instead of the distant future, Formation of the Working Groups as a means to carry the cooperation for the regions was generally agreed by the attendants of EAMA6 to be the best way toward the establishment of future East Asian Observatory (EAO). Association of Core Observatories (ACO) was proposed to bring resources and foster joint projects for EAMA activities.
