Design and Implementation of a Mobile Office System for Delivery Service (택배 서비스를 위한 모바일 오피스시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service.   • In the current digital age, most of the countries in the world recognize the electronic business to be a very prospective area in the future and plan to activate for the preoccupation of the business. As a result, this led a rapid increase of the electronic business volume. Electronic business takes place in the cyber space, using internet. However, the intellectual property rights have a high degree of possibility of being infringed as the digitalized intellectual property is easy to receive, copy and transmit in the cyber space. The language structure on the web, represented by HTML, makes easier to copy the intellectual property. And, as the internet has no national boundary, the infringement of the intellectual property rights is easier regardless of country, which could lead to the commercial disputes between the concerned countries. There are in fact many legal disputes nowadays on the infringement of the intellectual property rights in such field as computer programming, infringement of the copyright, business model patent and infringement of the trademark right on the registered name of the domain. It is, therefore, time now to prepare a new theory or legal system to protect the intellectual property rights on copyright, patent and trademark right so as to comply with the digital environment together with such a splendid growth of "electronic business." USA and Germany are nowadays making a significant movement on the legislation of the electronic business, and this study will focus on the legislative contents, judicial precedents and interpretation of law in the above countries.

  • 3-Screen service means that one video contents is operated on 3 different terminals(smart-phone, IP-TV, internet PC) with same service browser. In this paper, we developed 3-Screen video service system based on imbedded web browser. We evaluated and analysed of developed 3-Screen service system through Agribusiness video service offering test environment on the LG U+ network. As a result of tests, it showed that 3-Screen video service was well performed in each 3-Screen service terminals. The result of this paper will be utilized in various application developments for the 3-Screen video service in the future.

  • The way society works in the 21st century differs from that of 20th century, since the people are brought-up to speed regarding current technologies. The www.aflos.pe.kr site and direct e-mailing system were very useful in delivering floricultural information to extension educators, producers, and variety of individuals. The author’s one year experience indicated that extension educators and farmers are receptive to internet technologies, and extension educators have increased the knowledge base of their clientele by responding through direct e-mails. The internet and direct e-mailing systems were popular and powerful way of transferring floricultural information, especially agricultural extension manpower were limited because of localization of extension educators by changing national status to local governments and decreased number of extension educators through government restructuring. The direct e-mailing to approximately 503 individuals resulted about $1{\sim}3%$ responses and the number of phone calls, however virus protection software for e-mail, internet, file servers and desktops to provide the integrated real-time detection of viruses were needed. For more effective operation of direct e-mailing in the future, more specified target groups and specialized organization such as perennials, bulbs, flowering potted plants. and cut flowers. At the same time, things that have worked for last century should not be replaced with new technology, specifically, the value in one-on-one meetings should not be replaced, but rather serve as a supplement.

  • Due to the advance of the Internet, the electronic commerce is getting more widely used, and customer's demand for the e-Commerce service quality is rapidly increasing. On the other hand, e-Commerce companies required the Internet services whose quality is provided more reliable service to their customers. Therefore, it is very important to provide both e-Commerce companies and customers with the measurement and service quality in real-life network environment. But the research on the service quality measurement method for electronic commerce systems has been limited because ISP and e-Commerce providers seldom disclose detailed service measures such as, where and how much service delay incurred. In this paper, we construct sample e-Commerce systems and try to measure the service quality of the systems in real network environment. We have analyzed the delay zones and causes using a measurement tool. We must reflect the improvement method against delay causes. Accordingly, the customers can be experiences the better service quality. We hope that this research will be the groundwork for future research on the service quality of various types of e-Commerce systems and online services.

Determinants of Game Addiction among Middle School Boys focused on Leisure and Family-Environmental Factors (남자 중학생들의 게임중독 결정요인 -여가와 가족환경요인을 중심으로-)

  • Objectives: A large number of teenagers are addicted to Internet games. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leisure and family factors affecting internet game addiction among middle school boys. Methods: The data was used from 'Survey on the Online Game and Family Leisure Activities of Youth and Children in 2009' conducted by Korea Youth Policy Institute. Data were obtained from 1,681 middle school boys and analyzed by using the SPSS(version 20) program. Factors affecting game addiction were analyzed by ANOVA, Multiple Regression Analysis. Results: The results of this study revealed that the following variables have significant effects on game addition among middle school boys; psychology disorder about leisure, preference and participation disorder about leisure, father-child open communication, mother-child problem communication. Conclusions: Based on these results, we suggested leisure facility and programs to participate leisure life and activate communication with parents. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

An Empirical Study of the Effect of Uncertainty Avoidance on Post-Adoption Behavior: Focusing on Mobile Internet Services (불확실성 회피성향이 수용 후 행동에 미치는 영향: 모바일 인터넷 서비스를 중심으로)

  • Although the study of post-adoption has increased in recent years, few studies have focused on the moderating effect of uncertainty avoidance on the relationship between post-expectation and behavior. The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of uncertainty avoidance in the mobile Internet domains. This study proposed a post-adoption model based on prior continuance model. This theoretical model was verified empirically by conducting web surveys and multi-group analysis. Based on the survey data, we classified users into those with high uncertainty avoidance and those with low uncertainty avoidance. The results indicate that post expectations have significant impacts on satisfaction and continuance intention. The results also show that the impacts of intrinsic motivational factors of mobile Internet services on satisfaction and continuance intention are stronger for users with high uncertainty avoidance. On the other hand, the impacts of extrinsic motivational factors on satisfaction and continuance intention are stronger for users with low uncertainty avoidance, with a few exceptions. This paper ends with theoretical and managerial implications of the study results, as well as limitations and future research directions.

  • The future of Internet of Things ecosystem seems to be worth it, however by using a monolithic approach we might end up by dealing with complexity of the system as long as the statistics show that by 2020 IoT devices will reach around 50 billion. The microservice architecture approach utilizes the service-oriented architecture together with best practices and latest developments in software virtualization to overcome complexity issues, allow reusability of services or microservices instead of creating new ones. The microservice architecture provides secure platforms if it is developed and deployed in a container. Thus, this paper surveys on the microservices, microservices architecture and containers, microservices based Internet of Things.

Exploring the dynamic knowledge structure of studies on the Internet of things: Keyword analysis

  • A wide range of studies in various disciplines has focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) and cyber-physical systems (CPS). However, it is necessary to summarize the current status and to establish future directions because each study has its own individual goals independent of the completion of all IoT applications. The absence of a comprehensive understanding of IoT and CPS has disrupted an efficient resource allocation. To assess changes in the knowledge structure and emerging technologies, this study explores the dynamic research trends in IoT by analyzing bibliographic data. We retrieved 54,237 keywords in 12,600 IoT studies from the Scopus database, and conducted keyword frequency, co-occurrence, and growth-rate analyses. The analysis results reveal how IoT technologies have been developed and how they are connected to each other. We also show that such technologies have diverged and converged simultaneously, and that the emerging keywords of trust, smart home, cloud, authentication, context-aware, and big data have been extracted. We also unveil that the CPS is directly involved in network, security, management, cloud, big data, system, industry, architecture, and the Internet.

  • Among the scientific literature, it has not been possible to find a consensus on the definition of the limits or properties that allow differentiating or grouping the cyber-physical systems (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Despite this controversy the papers reviewed agree that both have become crucial elements not only for industry but also for society in general. The impact of a malware attack affecting one of these systems may suppose a risk for the industrial processes involved and perhaps also for society in general if the system affected is a critical infrastructure. This article reviews the state of the art of the application of machine learning in the automation of malware detection in cyberphysical systems, evaluating the most representative articles in this field and summarizing the results obtained, the most common malware attacks in this type of systems, the most promising algorithms for malware detection in cyberphysical systems and the future lines of research in this field with the greatest potential for the coming years.
