기능성 소화불량증 환자의 한방치료후 삶의 질 변화에 대한 임상적 평가 (Oriental Medical Treatment Can Improve Quality of Life in Patients with Functuonal Dyspepsia)

  • Objectives: Patients with functional dyspepsia frequently complain the discomfort of daily life, so their quality of life shows a tendency to decrease. This study was aimed to investigate the usefulness of oriental medical treatment for quality of life in patients with functional dyspepsia Methods: Quality of life in 15 patients was assesed by two times questionnaire based on Korean health related Quality of Life(KQOLS) Results: The mean of KQOLS score was 122.87 before oriental medical treatment, and after treatment, the mean of score was significantly reduced to 101.60(p=0.003). The score of each domains in KQOLS was also reduced significantly in psychological health, role limitation, pain, vitality respectively(p<0.05). Conclusions: We suggest that oriental medical treatment can improve quality of life in patients with functional dyspepsia.

  • 비기능적 요구사항은 대상 시스템이 지원해야 할 기능적 요구사항의 속성 또는 품질 요구사항을 말하며, 소프트웨어의 품질 속성으로 반영된다. 이러한 비기능적 요구사항은 특히 성능과 관계된 부분의 설계를 결정하기 위한 중요한 기준으로 사용된다. 따라서 비기능적 요구사항은 소프트웨어 개발 생명주기 전반에 걸쳐 계속적으로 고려되고, 관리되어야 한다. 하지만 비기능적 요구사항의 모호성과 비가시적 특성으로 인해 도출 및 명세뿐만 아니라, 관리에도 어려움이 많다. 이에 본 논문에서는 NFR 그래프를 이용해 비기능적 요구사항에 가시성을 부여하고 비기능적 요구사항을 설계에 반영하여 비기능적 요구사항 관리의 효율성을 높이기 위한 비기능적 요구사항의 추적 기법을 제안한다. 비기능적 요구사항 개발 절차에 따라 지능형 조명 제어 시스템의 성능 요구사항 추적 방법을 사례연구로 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 종합적으로 비기능적 요구사항 관리의 효율을 높이고자 한다.

  • Purpose: This study was to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of a progressive functional training program on ADL performance in stroke patients at home after selecting subjects through Resident Assessment Instrument for Home Care (RAI-HC). Method: Ninety stroke patients had a structured training which was 50 min in duration, six times per week for a period of 6 weeks. The subjects were divided into three groups as measured using the RAI-HC progressive functional training program group; the resident rehabilitation exercise group and the control group. Result: The study observed that the functional training program for stroke patients increased the level of activities of daily living (ADL), performance of functional fitness and balance. It also reduced blood lipid and the score of client assessment protocols (CAPs). The functional training program is expected to improve the quality of life in the stroke patients at home. Conclusion: The authors, with the results of this study concluded that, the functional training program is necessary for the stroke patients to improve their quality of life. Hence, the program should be employed immediately.

기능성 소화불량증 환자에 대한 복부(腹部) 수기치료의 효과 (Effectiveness of Abdominal Manipulation Therapy in Functional Dyspepsia Patients)

  • Objectives Functional dyspepsia is a type of disease characterized by bothersome postprandial fullness, early satiation, epigastric pain and burning without structural gastrointestinal disorders. The aim of this study was to evaluate changes in symptoms, quality of life, HRV (Heart Rate Variability) before and after abdominal manipulation therapy in functional dyspepsia patients. Methods We recruited twenty functional dyspepsia patients from the volunteers who applied for this clinical trial. State of Patients were assessed by NDI-K (Nepean Dyspepsia Index Korean Version), HRV (Heart Rate Variability) before treatment. After 4 times of abdominal manipulation therapy for 2 weeks, state of patients were assessed by the same methods. Results Total symptom score and total quality of life score of NDI-K were significantly improved by the abdominal manipulation therapy. After the treatment, the number of subjects within normal range of LF/HF ratio was significantly increased. Although the median of LF/HF ratio did not significantly changed, interquartile range was reduced. Conclusions Abdominal manipulation therapy possibly can be an effective treatment for functional dyspepsia patients, but further studies are needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of abdominal manipulation therapy for functional dyspepsia patients.

상업용 김치와 담금 배추김치의 발효에 따른 품질특성 변화 (Change of Quality Characteristics of Commercial and Prepared Kimchi Depending on Fermentation)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the folate contents and quality characteristics of commercial and fermented Kimchi and compare the correlation between folic acid and quality characteristics. Methods: The contents of total folate and quality characteristics were evaluated in 10 kinds of industrial and local Kimchi and nine kinds of other commonly consumed Kimchi. Changes in folate content and quality characteristics of Kimchi during 14 days of fermentation at $15^{\circ}C$ were compared. Results: Chungnam (L4) Kimchi had the lowest pH of 4.62, and acidity (0.57%) and salinity (3.26%) were highest compared to other areas. The content of total folate of D company (A) was the highest at $73.66{\mu}g/100g$. The content of total folate was significantly higher than those of Sesame leaf Kimchi (O9) and Young leafy radish Kimchi (O5) containing 65.77 and $62.82{\mu}g/100g$, respectively. The pH of fermented Kimchi decreased from 6.09 to 4.11 (p<0.05), and the acidity significantly increased (p<0.001) to 0.32-0.66%. Reducing sugar content decreased rapidly by 4 days and then slowly decreased (p<0.001). Total bacteria and lactic acid bacteria counts significantly increased (p<0.05) with fermentation period. Content of total folate was highest at $69.82{\mu}g/100g$ and $68.16{\mu}g/100g$ on days 0 and 2 of fermentation, after which it decreased to 77.6% at $15.61{\mu}g/100g$ on day 10 of fermentation. Conclusion: As a result, there was no definite trend regarding folate content in commercial Kimchi and other Kimchi. Young leafy radish, Chives, and Welsh onion Kimchi, which are rich in green leaves, are excellent folate source foods. The highest folate content of fermented Kimchi was identified on day 2 of fermentation. Therefore, it is recommended to use raw or immature Kimchi when using Kimchi as a folate source food.

  • 품질은 양(Quantity) 이나 질(Quality)로 관찰하여 수치로 측정 할 수 있는 서비스 특성이다. QoS란 트래픽이 통신망에서 전달되면서 예측 가능하면서 동시에 최소한으로 보장되어야할 서비스 요구사항이다. 스마트 의료정보시스템 개발에는 스마트 환경에서 기능적 요구사항과 품질을 만족시켜야 할 목표가 존재한다. 스마트 의료정보시스템의 기능도메인은 Patient Module 도메인, 스마트 환경 도메인, RFID Tag와 리더기 간 동작 도메인, Homecare Station 도메인, Clinical Station 도메인으로 구성된다. 본 연구는 각 도메인에서 수행되는 유헬스 서비스 스마트 기능 품질만족도 평가 방법론을 제시한다. QoS 측정기준은 의료정보의 기능적 요구 사항과 품질 요구사항 별로 구분된다. 품질측정 파라메타는 기능적 요구사항 6개 항목과 20개 세부항목이며 품질 요구사항은 5개항목과 20개 세부항목으로 구성된다. 품질평가를 위해 본 연구는 한국형 스마트 의료 정보 품질평가 매트릭스로 2-factor 평가 방법을 제시한다. 본 연구의 전체적인 품질평가 프레임워크는 모든 스마트 의료정보시스템 개발 시 고려해야 할 의료정보 특유의 품질에 대한 기준을 체계화하고 품질평가 절차를 모델화 한 것이다.

노인의 기능 치아 수와 구강건강평가(GOHAI)와의 관련성 (Relationship between the number of functional teeth and Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index(GOHAI) in elderly)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the association between remaining functional teeth and oral health-related quality of life using Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index(GOHAI) in the elderly. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 237 female elderly in Daegu from May to September, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects and Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index(GOHAI). A total of 216 female elderly data were analyzed for oral health status and their GOHAI score. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 version. Logistic regression analysis showed the association of functional teeth and GOHAI score. Results: Number of functional teeth can affect oral health related quality of life in the elderly. When functional teeth is small, the odds ratio(OR) was 2.119(95% CI: 1.215-3.696). After adjusting age, residence type and education, OR was 1.900(95% CI: 1.060-3.399). Policies to preserve natural tooth should be recommended for increasing quality of life in general. Conclusions: This study showed significant association between number of functional teeth and the GOHAI score of the elderly women.

참취의 고부가 식품이용화를 위한 품질특성 및 기능성 건강음료 개발 (Quality characteristics of Aster scaber and development of functional healthy drinks using its extract)

  • 본 연구는 소비자들이 잘 알고 있고 널리 섭취하고 있는 산채류 중 취나물의 일종인 참취의 이용가치를 높이기 위해 실시하였다. 품질특성을 알아보기 위하여 섬유소, 탄닌, 무기질, 색도, texture를 측정하였다 참취에는 섬유소가 0.68g/100g 함유되어 있었고, 수렴작용을 갖는 탄닌은 35.6ppm/g 함유 되어있는 것으로 나타났다. 무기질 함량을 측정한 결과 Fe가 많이 함유되어 있어 참취에서 290.98mg/kg으로 나타났다. 또한 고부가 식품이용화 가치를 판단하기 위해서 참취를 생잎, 나물과 샐러드로 제조해서 관능검사를 시행한 결과 참취 나물에 대한 전반적인 선호도가 다른 군에 비해 높게 나타났으며, 20대보다는 30대, 40대 이상에서 전체적인 선호도가 높게 나타났다. 참취 곰취 추출물을 이용하여 현대인의 건강증진에 이바지할 수 있는 음료를 개발하였다. 참취ㆍ곰취 음료의 제조조건 확립을 위하여 관능검사를 통해 recipe를 결정하였다. 결정된 recipe로 음료를 제조한 후 유통기한 설정을 위해 가용성 고형물, optical density, pH, 적정산도 및 미생물 등의 품질분석을 실시하여 유통기한을 18개월로 정하였다.

Marked Corridor 20 Meters Brief Walking Aerobic Exercise Improves the Quality of Life and Functional Capability of Stroke Survivor Outpatients in Tertiary Hospitals in Osogbo, Nigeria

  • PURPOSE: The functional limitations in stroke survivors promote sedentary lifestyles and quality of life inadequacies, but there is increasing evidence that this could be minimized by physical exercise. Therefore, this study examined the effects of physical exercise on the quality of life (QoL) and functional capacity (ability to stand up from a sitting position) among stroke survivors drafted from two tertiary hospitals in Osogbo, Nigeria. METHODS: A purposive sampling technique was used to select 21 registered right or left outpatient hemiplegic stroke survivors in a pre- and post-test experimental research design. The research questions were presented using descriptive statistics of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, while an Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to test the study hypothesis at the .05 alpha level for significance. RESULTS: Compared to the baseline (week 0), there were significant increases in the general quality of life, healthy well-being, physical exercise, pain perception, and environmental domains of QOL among the survivors in week four. Moreover, a significant increase was observed in these indices in week eight, compared to week four, except for the pain perception domain. Compared to the baseline, there was a significant decrease in the time it took the stroke survivors to stand up from a sitting position in week four. A significant decrease was observed in this index in week eight compared to week four. CONCLUSION: Marked corridor 20 meters brief walking exercise for eight weeks significantly improved the quality of life and ability to stand up from a sitting position in stroke survivors in Osogbo, Nigeria.

은행서비스 질이 소비자만족도 및 긍정적 구전에 미치는 영향 : 성별, 연령집단에 따른 비교 (The Effects of Banking Service Quality on Consumer Satisfaction andPositive Word-of- Mouth: With Special Comparisons according to Genderand Age Groups)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of banking service quality on consumer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth. A total of 330 bank consumers were investigated between Sept. 11 and Oct. 11, 2006. After sorting through the data, the responses of 299 consumer ( > 24 yrs old) were used for analysis. SERVPERF, the performance component of the Service Quality scale (SERVQUAL), was used to measure the four dimensions of reliability, responsiveness/empathy, assurance, and tangibles. Responses were partitioned by age and gender. The major findings were as follows; The effect of service quality by SERVPERF on consumer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth did not differ according to gender. However, positive recommendation in males was directy related to the technical quality evaluate. In females, higher the functional quality evaluate was directly related to higher positive word-of-mouth recommendation. The effect of service quality by SERVPERF on consumer satisfaction was not revealed differently according to age. However, with respect to respondents under the age of 45, tangibles and assurance had a positive relationship with word-of-mouth recommendation. Furthermore, the higher the functional quality evaluate, the higher the level of positive word-of-mouth. Responsiveness/empathy was the most significant factor on positive word-of-mouth recommendation in respondents over the age of 45. In this age group, the higher the technical quality evaluate, the higher the level of positive word-of-mouth recommendation. These results have implications for banking service managers, particularly in improving service quality to increase consumer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth. Future research is needed to replicate this study using more broad and representative samples in order to test the generalization of these findings.
