CO2배출 최소화를 고려한 발전기보수유지계획의 수립 (Establishment of Generator Maintenance Scheduling Considering Minimization of CO2 Emissions)

  • This paper proposes establishment of generator maintenance scheduling(GMS) considering minimization of $CO_2$ emissions. The objective function model to minimize $CO_2$ emissions is used in this paper. In this paper, and also, GMS is established due to freedom of GMS of generators owned by a designated generation company. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach are demonstrated by simulation studies for a real size power system model in Korea in 2010.

음성엔코더 시뮬레이션에 사용되는 난수발생기 설계 (Design of Random Number Generator for Simulation of Speech-Waveform Coders)

  • 본 논문에서는 음성엔코더 (speech-waveform coder) 시뮬레이션에 사용할 수 있는 난수발생기를 설계하였다. 설계된 난수발생기는 규정된 확률밀도함수와 규정된 스펙트럼을 동시에 만족해야 하는 환경에서 필요로 하는 것이다. 선형필터와 메모리가 없는 비선형 회로로 구성되는 Sondhi 알고리즘 [1]을 기반으로 하여 난수발생기를 구현하였고, 균일 분포, 이진 분포, 감마 분포와 같은 연속적인 확률분포함수들을 얻기 위해 필요한 선형필터와 비선형 회로를 구현하는 방법을 연구하였다. 또한 분석적인 방법을 통하여 구현해야 하는 비선형 회로가 비대칭 형태로 표현되지 않는 경우 (카이-제곱 분포, lognormal 분포)와 수학식으로 표현할 수 없는 경우 (Student-t 분포, F 분포)에는 Sondhi 알고리즘이 동작하지 않음을 보였다.

  • This paper presents an analysis of the chaotic behavior in the discrete-time chaotic generator fabricated by CMOS technology. An approximated empirical equation is extracted from the measurement data of a nonlinear function block. Then the bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponent and time waveforms and frequency responses of the chaotic generator are calculated and simulated. And results of experiments in the chaotic circuit with the $\pm$2.5V power supply and clock rate of 10KHz are shown, and analysed.

  • This paper presents a novel objective function for distribution system reconfiguration for reliability enhancement. When islanding operations of distributed generators is prohibited, faults in the feeder interrupt the operation of distributed generators. For this reason, we include the customer interruption cost as well as the distributed generator interruption cost in the objective function in the network reconfiguration algorithm. The network reconfiguration in which genetic algorithms are used is implemented by MATLAB. The effect of the proposed objective function in the network reconfiguration is analyzed and compared with existing objective functions through case studies. The network reconfiguration considering the proposed objective function is suitable for a distribution system that has a high penetration of distributed generators.

선형 근사 평활 발전 비용함수를 이용한 경제급전 문제의 최적화 (Optimization of Economic Load Dispatch Problem Using Linearly Approximated Smooth Fuel Cost Function)

  • 본 논문은 복잡한 비평활 발전비용함수를 가진 경제급전의 최적화 문제를 풀기 위해 단순히 선형 근사함수를 이용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 비평활 발전비용 함수를 선형으로 근사시키고, 요구량이 현재의 발전량을 초과하는 경우 발전단가가 비싼 발전기의 가동을 중지시키고, 발전단가가 보다 큰 발전기의 발전량을 감소시켜 요구량과 발전량의 균형을 맞추는 개념을 도입하였다. 경제급전 문제의 시험사례로 빈번히 활용되고 있는 데이터에 대해 제안된 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 기존의 휴리스틱 알고리즘의 최적화 해를 획기적으로 감소시킬 수 있었으며, 현재 실무적으로 적용되고 있는 2차 평활함수 근사법과 유사한 결과를 얻었다.

  • The output voltage of synchronous generator is regulated constantly by field current control in excitation system. Most of ship generator exciter system uses the thyristor phase controlled rectifier. However this rectifier is difficult to realize that the speed control system because its control period is slower than MOSFET and IGBT type converter. Therefore, this paper deals with PMG(Permanent Magnet Generator) type digital excitation system using MOSFET for ship synchronous generator. The organization of this excitation system is very simple. When the generator is under the short circuit accident, the output voltage becomes zero state and AVR can not operate. Thus generator requires the function for flowing output current through CBS. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated on a 10kVA experimental prototype circuit in place of real ship generator.

  • This paper presents design parameter calculation methodology and its realization to construction for the 10/350${\mu}s$ lightning impulse current generator(ICG) modelled as double exponential function waveform with characteristic parameters ${\alpha},{\beta}$. Matlab internal function, "fzero" was applied to find ${\lambda}={\alpha}/{\beta}$ which is solution of nonlinear equation linearly related with two wave parameter $T_1$ and $T_2$. The calculation results for 10/350${\mu}s$ lightning impulse current show very good accuracy with error less 0.03%. Two type of 10/350${\mu}s$ ICGs based on the calculated design circuit parameters were fabricated by considering the load variation. One is applicable to the MOV based Surge protective device(SPD) for less 15 kA and the other is to test small resistive devices such as spark gap arrester and bonding device with maximum current capability 30 kA. The tested waveforms show error within 10% in comparison with the designed estimation and the waveform tolerance recommended in the IEC 61643-1 and IEC 60060-1.

  • The purpose of this study is to manufacture and test a thermoelectric generator which converts unused energy from close-at-hand sources, such as garbage incineration heat and industrial exhaust, to electricity. A manufacturing process and the properties of a thermoelectric generator are discussed before simulating the thermal stress and thermal properties of a thermoelectric module located between an aluminum tube and alumina plate. We can design the thermoelectric modules having the good properties of thermoelectric generation. Resistivity of thermoelectric module for thermoelectric generation consisting of 62 cells was $0.15{\sim}0.4{\Omega}$. The maximum power of thermoelectric generator using thermoelectric generating modules can be defined as temperature function, and in this case it can be analogized the linear relation between current and voltage characteristics as function of temperature. The thermoelectric generator using 128 generating modules was assembled with 4 parallel connected modules sets composed with 32 directly connected modules.

  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 레이다 시험용 타이밍신호 발생기를 개발하였다. 개발된 발생기는 모의표적신호에 고각 정보를 모의할 수 있는 기능을 갖추었고, 내부에 구상변조 기능을 가지고 있어 80MHz까지의 변조된 신호를 발생할 수 있다. 또한 기저대역신호를 외부에서 입력받아 중간주파수로 변환하는 과정을 보드 내에서 처리가 가능하므로 다양한 시험환경을 쉽게 구현할 수 있고 별도의 파형합성기가 필요 없어 저렴한 비용으로 레이다 시험장비 구성이 가능하다. 아울러 운용프로그램에 따라 쉽게 파라미터를 변경할 수 있는 충분한 메모리를 내장하고 있어 시험환경을 변경할 필요가 있을 때 시간 및 비용을 절감할 수 있다.

  • The micro grid considered in this paper consists of a diesel generator, a photovoltaic array, a wind turbine, a fuel cell, and a energy storage system. This paper explains and simulates the micro grid components in terms of accuracy and efficiency of having a system model based on the costs of fuel as well as operation and maintenance. For operational efficiency, the objective function in a diesel generator consists of the fuel cost function similar to the cost functions used for the conventional fossil-fuel generating plants. The wind turbine generator is modeled by the characteristics of variable output. The optimization is aimed at minimizing the cost function of the system while constraining it to meet the customer demand and safety of micro grid. The operating cost in fuel-cell system includes the fuel costs and the efficiency for fuel to generate electric power. To develop the overall system model gives a possibility to minimize of the total cost of micro grid. The application of optimal operation can save the interruption costs as well as the operating costs, and improve reliability index in micro grid.
